We cannot say enough great things about Heather! She did our engagement session as well as our wedding. She is organized, energetic, and very professional. We had a few things go wrong on our wedding day, and without Heather I think I would have lost my mind! She not only did our pictures but helped make sure other things went smoothly, as she has a wedding coordinator background as well. She is simply amazing and we feel we formed a friendship with her throughout the day, and hope to work with her again in the future!

Okay, I thought we couldn't have been happier with Heather's services, but we were more blown away. Her go-to attitude and keeping us on time while still having fun was the best part of her. Also, her fantastic quality in our pictures and photo album. Please hire her cause she is amazing. You won't go wrong!

Heather was so amazing on our special day! She was great at keeping me in the loop every step of the way and communicating with the DJ so they were both on the same page. I was able to trust she knew what she was doing so I could truly just enjoy the day. Her photos are absolutely beautiful with a natural finish. I found out about Heather through a group on Facebook, and so many brides had such great things to say about her. So I had to go check her website out, and OMG, her work was stunning, so then I had to text her to see if she was open for my wedding date, and luckily she was. I booked her asap, and I was so happy. We had our wedding over the Summer, and it was a hot one, but she kept us so calm, and we had a lot of fun. She made us forget how hot it was. We got so many amazing photos, and we loved them all. My husband and I should have written this review many years ago, but we just looked at our wedding photos cause it is our wedding anniversary, and we just started crying again as we have over the past three years. Uptown & More is amazing! We had our viewing over the weekend, and we were blown away by our engagement photos. If you want a fun and excited wedding photographer, Heather is your guy. She has such a bubbly personality. We thought is going to be awkward taking photos, but she directed us and made us laugh the whole time. When we booked her, we had no idea we would get a free engagement shoot which helped us break the ice and get a feel for what our big day would be like. If you want someone with a lot of personalities and not boring, we have seen many wedding photographers that just lay flat, then hire Heather. We hired Heather last month for our wedding, and we just got done reviewing our photos with her at this cute little tea house and all I can say is I love our photos, and I love the little spot she had us meet up at. She really knows how to make you feel like a friend and just not a client. We also decided to order an album which was not part of the plan nor the budget, but we just loved her sample albums so much we decided to splurge one last time. My wife and I hired Heather and Nick for our wedding. They were on time and worked non-stop. We had them both for 8 hours to capture everything from getting ready to our sparkler exit. They took the best photos, and all our friends are jealous and want to get married again and hire them. They were so much fun, and my mother just loved them, and it's hard to make my mom happy, hahaha. All seriousness, they are the best, and we love our photos. Thank you so many, guys, and I promise you won't go wrong hiring these two. Just make sure you don't stress and role with it cause your timeline never stays on track, but Heather and Nick will help coordinate your timeline throughout the day to get everything that is the most important without rushing you.

We hired Uptown And More for our wedding photography. Heather was the best ever! She always kept me on track and helped me through the hole process. She is so sweet and kind and her photos are fabulous. She has a unique way of seeing things and unlike other photographers I have worked with (friends weddings) She is super fun and outgoing. It's never a boring moment with her. She kept us laughing and smiling the hole time. I couldn't thank her enough for everything she did.

Heather and Nick were just wonderful. Our day went by so fast, and we couldn't have done it without them. You honestly don't realize how fast it goes and not always how you want it to be. But with their expertise, we were able to enjoy ourselves the whole time. They took control and made sure everything was captured. We understand no wedding day will be perfect, but it will be perfect with the right vendors. Hiring Heather was the best decision we made. Our photos came out perfect. She sent us our soft edits within a month, and we got to pick our favorite 600 to have final touches done; plus, we got to keep all the other soft edits. This was a big selling point for us cause a lot of other photographers to pick your photos and don't give them all to you. We wanted all our photos, and we got them. Thank you so much to Heather and her husband, Nick, for being part of our day. You should definitely hire these guys.

Heather is the best! I couldn't have been happier. We loved every photo. She is truly a joy to be around. It never gets boring, and she always gets a smile out of everyone. All my family loved her. We will definitely be hiring her for family photos.

I used Heather's business for coordination, photography, videography, and photo booth. As a result, we were gifted our engagement shoot and engagement video. Where do I begin! I absolutely LOVED working with Heather and Nick. She is passionate about what she does. Trust in her word and she will give you great pics. I have been to many weddings where the photographer or videographer gets a little too up close and personal where it takes away from the special moment. Well not with Heather. She is very professional and so much fun to have around. Within a week of my wedding, I received my sneak peak. I am sooo happy with the results. It has been several weeks now and slowly but surely Heather has communicated with me and has continuously added more photos to our gallery. She is very particular about her vision and making sure the bride and groom looks their best. Thank you Heather for being apart of our special day. Bun and I will forever be grateful. We will definitely be booking her again for our family shoots. :)

It's just heartbreaking posting a review like this. I had worked with Heather many years ago for a graduation photoshoot. This lead me to book her for my wedding. She was the first and only person that I called. She did a great job 3 years ago, but I honestly wish I didn't hire her for my wedding. Highlights: poor communication. Extremely forgetful. If I had any conversations with her about specific things I wanted to include, I had to write them in an email specifically. Examples: I had asked for specifically no photos of certain people but because I did not put it in writing she decided to tell me "you didn't provide it via email" and pretty much too bad so sad. She then included additional photos of these people outside of portraits after I specifically mentioned multiple times I wanted 0 photos of these guests. She overpromised on timelines, and never followed through. She seems to be too overwhelmed with everything to be able to commit to timelines. Communication was never facilitated by Heather, and I had to follow up on timelines to get my photos edited, obtain a sneak peak, and actually receive anything. I waited 31 days (3/29) to receive my soft edit after being told on 3/8 she would have soft edits that week. Service recovery effort: Heather tried to make things better by offering to stay later since the engagement photos were not edited as per her claimed timeline. We accepted. Unfortunately, the photos she stayed later for look rushed and uncoordinated (much like many of our portraits). Image quality: We had about 45-60 minutes after the ceremony for photos inside the church and had to reshoot many of our key moments from the ceremony, because the ceremony was "too quick". Literally, 0 photos of the ring exchange or the first kiss. We had to shoot them again after the ceremony. It was definitely not worth the money we paid. Out of the 600 photos we were allowed to choose for editing, we chose 36! 36 of them were what we deemed as good quality. Physical items: I received the USB today and my Photo Booth photos were not even on there, so I had to also upload those to the USB on my own time. On the plus side, she did provide me with the tracking number as mentioned. Advice: Please do yourself a favor and make sure you have everything in writing and hold Heather and her staff accountable if you do choose to hire her.

Heather and her team made our day happen. We hired her for photo, video, and coordination. We got a free photo and video engagement session, too, which was a big bonus. She and her team were hands down the best vendors we hired. We couldn't be happier, and we highly recommend her.

We hired Heather from Uptown And More. She is so much fun. We had a three-hour wait between the ceremony and cocktail. So when we were done with family portraits, she took us all downtown to capture more of our personality with our bridal party and got some of the best photos we ever could have imagined. After we got done with our portraits, she took us to Grand Bo, and we all had a couple of drinks and took more pictures. She even had a drink with us, which was so awesome cause so many of our friend's wedding photographers were so dull and were not fun. But Heather kept our whole wedding party and us laughing the entire night. Shoot, she even got on the dance floor to break the ice lol. Hands down the coolest and funniest photographer ever. Oh, and we love our photos so much. Her work is so clean, classic, and romantic.

Heather and Nick are indeed the best photographers. My wife and I couldn't ask for a better team to capture our day. They helped us with creating a timeline for our big day since we didn't have a coordinator. They both kept us and our crazy bridal party and family on track as best as they could. Which we forwarned them they are all crazy lol. We just want to say thank you for everything you guys did for us and we can't wait to see you for our future celebrations.

She takes the time to work with you ahead of time so that you get the best results from your photo session. They are the best!

We used Uptown &More as our photographers for our wedding, and it was perfect. I love being about to see all prices and details upfront before I get into something, so being able to browse packages and have costs upfront was the best thing. We were able to put together a custom package that had what we needed for a price we could afford. Heather and Nick are Professionalism, Passionate, Perfectionism. Best wedding photographers, you could ask! Heather and Nick captured our day perfectly even with all the hiccups we had (not their fault). They kept us on our timeline as best as they could with the bridal party arriving late, makeup artists and hairstylists running us behind by an hour, and it rained the whole day. Which we, the girls, did not get our photos before the ceremony. I see why she pressed so hard for her colleagues. I wished I would have just spent the money on them, so we had more experienced hair and makeup not to run us behind. Heather and Nick were able to move family portraits around after the ceremony, so my girls and I got our photos. Oh, and they also showed up early, so they were able to get a lot of my husband's family portraits done along with the decor for the reception, so whatever time we were running behind on, we had some wiggle room. Heather and Nick know how to think on their feet fast, so they don't miss a moment. They kept our family and friends laughing the whole time. They are not your traditional photographers, but man they know ho to have fun and work super hard, plus their work is stunning. Thank you so much for everything. We couldn't have done it without you guys. You were our glue.

I cannot recommend Heather and her husband enough! Not only did they capture my wedding day beautifully and exactly how I envisioned, but they are an absolute pleasure to be around! They made us feel so comfortable, and made us laugh our butts off all night. By the end of the night everyone was asking where I found them! We still have some time till our wedding but it's been an absolutely pleasure working with Heather thus far. She provides more than wedding photography!! We recently did our engagement photos and Heather put together a whole theme not your typical stand and pose looks. My Fiancé and I had a great time laughing and truly enjoying the moment while she took photos. Great memories for us to cherish and amazing photos for us to keep! We absolutely loved our experience with Heather and Uptown. She captured our big day making it unforgettable and saved us so much stress. She went above and beyond keeping us updated letting us know how to avoid mistakes she sees all the time. We love her and definitely recommend!

So where to begin… As stated numerous times before by others below, we sincerely regret hiring Heather/Uptown & More to photograph our wedding. Communication does not seem to be a priority for Heather and when she finally decides to answer, she’ll respond to only part of the message and ignore the parts she doesn’t want to answer or, she’ll leave mid-conversation and disappear until you try contacting her again. She often used social media to give public excuses for not having reliable communication which coincidently always seemed to happen after we contacted her and were expecting a response. She overpromised her services and abilities to us, which I can assume is partially the reason we were ignored. She was unable to capture many special moments effectively which ultimately caused her to not provide those pictures to us as she deemed them to not be worthy. For example, there are no close-ups of any special moments during our actual ceremony. No close-up pictures of our first kiss, exchanging rings, or even just us in front of the altar. Most importantly, there are no pictures of our actual wedding day cake. She lacked the attention to detail that one would expect from someone you would trust to capture these moments. She didn’t listen to our requests whatsoever and instead provided us with whatever she felt was sufficient. She provided unrealistic deadlines for herself to which she didn’t even adhere anyway. Overall, we were very disappointed with her unprofessionalism, dishonesty, lack of communication and quality of work. If communication and honesty are what you are looking for in a wedding photographer, I would not recommend Uptown & More.

We contacted Uptown & More for our engagement photo's cause we are out of towners. So we gave them a ring and Heather answered and was such absolute delight to chat with. She gave us so many pointers and ideas for our engagement session. Heather was very open and honest with us with all the questions we had and didn't have lol. Heather like's to give lot's of information but that is why we hired her. When it came down to the engagement session it was so much fun and it was so nice to know what we were walking in to before we got their cause of our phone chat prior. My fiance and I love our photo's and Heather captured us perfectly. Thank you so much for everything!

Heather was so awesome at my friends wedding. Her and her assistant made things so much more fun to take pictures. She really captured my friends wedding perfectly and the photo's really represent my friends personalities. When I propose to my girlfriend Heather will be the first person I call.

Heather went above and beyond for my husband and I. We contacted Heather 14 months before our wedding, so she was in it with us for the long haul! She took our engagement photos and even included our daughter in them. We had an instant connection with Heather. She made us feel so comfortable. She was amazing at our wedding as well! She went over and beyond for us and we couldn’t be more thankful for her and her wonderful talents.

This is second review I have written in regard to uptown & More services, as last one i was held to ransom and my photos wouldn’t be released until I removed it. I am lucky in my country of residence being the UK we have the power of free speech so here I am again, my worst decision was using uptown & More, we had hoped for a courtesy visit to meet the couple when we arrived from uk to discuss preferences but only met on day of wedding, we never had pictures taken we had requested, it was as if someone was interested in the concept of a wedding at hard rock for their portfolio and that was their main priority- pictures released on their web site we tried to print but it can’t be done - so do you know what now I dont even care, suppose to have been sent a USB stick as included in price, no stick arrived - didn’t even want to correspond further as it’s been a nightmare but still no reply - we spent thousands coming over from uk and will just use family pictures. So this is my parting gesture I am entitled free speech and an opinion so shall not remove this second review in hinesight wish I had used another Company, wasted money as don’t have any physical photos so don’t actually know what I paid for. I shall not be replying to any further correspondence as damage has been done.

Amazing service, our guest loved it and they were the best value around!

We LOVED working with Heather during this entire process. She was such a blessing! We had ideas and concepts of shots, and she just took it and ran with it! Such a ball of energy and clearly loves what she does, which helps you feel comfortable in such a high stress moments. During and after our wedding, people kept talking about how awesome she was. We cannot wait to see what her brilliant eye came up with!

My husband and I were looking for a wedding photographer and we came across Uptown &More and loved all their work. We talked to Heather and she helped us with planning. She kinda acted as a coordinator which helped a lot. We also ended up hiring her for video too. Heather surprised us with engagement session when we decided to go with her services which we thought we were not going to cause we had to budget. The engagement and wedding photo's/video came out amazing and it was everything we hoped for when we hired her. You guys did such a great job.

Heather and Nicholas are honestly the sweetest husband and wife team. We hired them to photograph our wedding and they just went above and beyond the hole day for us. They showed up early to set up which did not eat in our time which was awesome and we got getting ready photo's out of it which are package did not allow for. We have also been to many friends weddings and saw the photographers they hired and more than half of the time they were just standing around. Our friends photographers didn't show up early to set up the lighting or anything. So when they did it was taken out of our friends time which I thought it was unfair. Also Heather and Nick actually shows you some of the photo's they take through out the day so you get to see which is so nice. I know a lot of other photographers will not show the back of their cameras to you at all. Heather and Nick were the best decision we made out of all our vendors. Oh and they gave us so many more photo's than we were expecting with moments we didn't even get to witness of our friends and family. Please hire this amazingly cute couple to capture your special day. You will not regret it I promise.

We hired Uptown &More cause Heather made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. My wife and I are super odd when it comes to taking photo's and usually when we do take photo's they look horrible. But with Heather she just directed us and just talked us through it and the end results were so natural and loving. We couldn't believe we can actually take good photo's. They are very up front and give you so much information unlike the other vendors which won't tell or give you anything until you book with them. We love how real and fun Heather is and her creative eye. She really see's moments that you don't. She captures you in the way that shows so much love. Heather is just not a photographer but an artist. Oh and if you don't want a stiff photographer then hire Heather. She is not your ordinary photographer at all. We highly recommend her. When searching for a photographer for our wedding day we were also looking for a videographer and a photo booth. While still in the search for the perfect photographer, Heather took the time to call me to go over everything we were looking for. From there we had decided. Everything else was seamless and when the day came it flowed so well. She was there every step of the way with candid shots and catching all the moments of the day and night.
