Overall, it was a nice experience. There was some lack of attention to details and I felt rushed during my 1st appointment. The dress I bought at USA Bridal. I found the same dress at another shop and it wasn't as good of a condition as it was at USA Bridal. There were discrepancies from the local store and the corp office regarding the pricing of my dress that I had to follow up on, which was frustrating, but it got resolved. I loved my dress! Overall, it was a positive experience.
After having a terrible experience at another bridal shop I went here with no hope at all. Kelly helped me find my dream wedding dress. She was very nice, upbeat, professional and most of all PATIENT with a picky bride. I will be back with my fiancé and soon to get his tux.
Their staff may benefit from training on professionalism. The experience was like a bad skit of stand-up comedian Fortune Feimster.
I called to make an appointment back in May with the Elizabethtown store. I was told that I could call the store a couple of days before the appointment to ask about certain styles I had looked at online to see if they were in stock. I called and was told that only one dress I wanted to look at was in stock and that it was in the Louisville store. I asked for my appointment to be moved to this store. When we arrived to the appointment, the consultant seemed annoyed that we were even there. I told her about the dress and she informed me that she knew for a fact that they did not have the dress in stock. I thought "that's fine, there are plenty of dresses in the store." We were taken to the dressing room and I was informed that there would be no help in picking out dresses or trying them on. She informed me that one of the girls with me would have to be the one to help me. She then showed us where the dresses were and basically just hovered around while we dug through the racks. I chose about 7 dresses to try on. After the third dress, the consultant tried to sell it to me. She kept talking about the price and how good the deal was and even went as far as to get me a veil even though I wasn't sure about the dress. I didn't settle and continued to try on dresses. This seemed to annoy the consultant even more. I found a dress similar to the one that I had wanted to try on before I got to the store. I fell in love with this dress. It was perfect. I wanted to be sure that it was the one, so I finished trying on the other two dresses. The consultant over heard us talking about the venue, which she never even asked me about, and told me that she had a dress that would be perfect for the venue. She proceeded to bring me a dress that was $1000 over my budget, which she also never asked about. The dress was pretty, but again it just wasn't the one. I tried the dress I had loved so much back on and just knew it was my dress. I bought the dress that day and was told that it would be in by September. I never heard another word from the store after that day. I waited patiently, and on Wednesday, Sept. 15 I called the store to check on my dress. The man informed me that the dress had been in since JULY! I was blown away. No one ever tried to reach out to me to let me know that my dress was there. He told me that "we would get down to the bottom of this" when I came in the next day to pick up my dress, which did not happen. We arrived to the store and the same lady came to the door that was my consultant the first time I was there. She was just as annoyed about us being there as she was the first day that I was there. While I was looking at the dress she told me that she had been texting me about my dress and had never received a reply. She said she had sent me 4 text messages. I told her that I never received anything from the store other than reminders of my appointments, which I then pulled up and showed her. She acted so surprised that I had not heard anything from them. I can't believe that they think that a text message is a viable way to inform someone that their dress is in. I don't understand why no one tried to contact me via phone call after my dress sat at that store for 2 months. No one ever followed up about what happened. It appears to have been swept under the rug. They do not care about their brides at all. I will forever tell people that they need to stay away from this store.
VERY DISAPPOINTED!
Had an appointment to try on bridesmaid dresses only to be turned away for having my 2 month nursing daughter with me. This company clearly does not value women and mothers and I will never use their services again.
I had rented the tuxes for my wedding from this store and previously had bought a bridesmaid dress. Very disappointing to have a company still shaming breastfeeding mothers rather than supporting women.
I understand not having small children running around but a 2 month old who can't even hold her head up isn't going to cause issues for anyone in the store. Also, when scheduling appointments you should instruct your employees to say that no children are allowed versus having to reject nursing mothers at the door.
I went in after I got engaged to browse and get some ideas. The workers were SO helpful. I wasn’t expecting to find my dress at the first place, but the lady helping me listened to what I liked and didn’t like with each dress and pulled the dress of my dreams! They were so helpful too by putting notes in their computer when I decided to show some family members who had wanted to be a part of the first trying on session! They were so mindful and called immediately when it came in. I even got the veil here as well. Both were STUNNING. This was such a sweet moment starting my wedding journey!
Price, dress selection for brides and bridesmaids, customer service, and return policy sucks here. I wish I would have read the reviews before I went here. I still haven’t received the dress I special ordered on February 1st. I want a refund if you all cannot give me the dress I ordered. I need time for alterations and the delay is an inconvenience and not providing adequate customer service on refunding me on an item that obviously is not going to come on time for my Wedding. You all are unable to provide me with a tracking number or the day the dress is suppose to come every time I call. Stop acting clueless and provide better service
Samantha took care of me and my bridal party and I couldn’t be any more pleased with her! She is very good at her job and eased my nerves. I loved every dress she brought to me and in the end I found it exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend!! This lady knows her stuff
The selection, price, and help was terrible.
This was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. I ordered my wedding gown in the beginning of February, it was not a custom order in fact it was labeled quick ship on the USA Bridal website. I was told my dress should be in by the end of May, I called the last week of May and was told the middle of June. I called the at the end of June and was told it should’ve already been here. Every week I called I was told just 2-3 more weeks. It is now a July 18th and I still do not have my dress. I am 79 days out from my wedding and all of the notable seamstresses I’ve reached out are booked out for the rest of 2019. So not only do I not have a wedding dress it wouldn’t be able to be altered due to the short time frame. This service is absolutely unacceptable. Do not waste your time with this place or company it is definitely not worth it. You will lose your mind trying to deal with the company as well as your money.
Jaime was absolutely amazing. She was so helpful, caring, and accommodating. I would recommend you go see her.
Huge selection, reasonable prices, and friendly staff! Loved my experience!
I truly enjoyed my experience at Bridal Warehouse. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. My mother was the bride and we didn’t have an appointment and they went above and beyond to assist my mother with finding the dress of her dreams. My mother left the store with a dress that day after having bridal shopped for weeks to have the ideal wedding. Jamie was so helpful in assisting finding the right dress, size, veil that compliments the dress. She did it all! I hope when I get married that she is still there, because she made me feel pretty and I’m just the daughter of the bride.
I had a really great experience buying my wedding dress! The prices were affordable and the staff was very nice and helpful.
The staff there were very patient, let me try on so many dresses and were supportive without any pressure. They also recommended me to an amazing alteration shop. They seemed genuinely happy to help and made the whole process more enjoyable!
I originally reviewed this location on Google after I found a dress I loved. I am putting the original review on here too because I do agree with what I originally wrote; the people at this location are wonderful and very helpful. Unfortunately the company as a whole is shady and will just heap stress onto your wedding.
I ordered the dress originally in February and was told it would be ready in May. Since then my delivery date got pushed back for various reasons to the point where it wouldn't come in until barely a month before my wedding date. I started to panic about getting alterations done, so at that point I just wanted them to cancel the order and give me the deposit back. The manager's hands were tied because any type of refund request has to be approved by their home office. When I called the home office their system only allows you to leave a voicemail so they can call you back at their own convenience, we called 3 days in a row before someone actually called us back, and the lady I spoke with when they finally did was rude and accused me of lying about what I was told. Because of the contract we signed (we only received a blank copy of the contract; not one with any signatures or information filled out) they are refusing to give us a refund.
Original review: I had an amazing experience here, my consultant Hayley did a wonderful job listening to what I liked and picking dresses. She was very attentive, and I liked that we could go through the dresses ourselves to pull what we liked. Hayley was very knowledgeable about the dresses and was able to recommend going up in a size over trying to let the dress out a little. I would absolutely recommend this place to any bride who needed a dress.
I had a great experience at Bridal Warehouse. Sheila was great and helped me find my perfect dress. I loved that they let me and my family members look through all of the dresses and I was not pressured in any way to buy. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend them.
I generally had a good experience, but there were a couple of small issues. When I made my appointment I listed a few dresses I was interested in, and was told that notes of theses dresses were made in my file. When I got to the store they had no clue what I was talking about. I had to talk the consultant into letting me try on the dress I specifically came in to see because she assumed it was over my price range. Once she realized it wasn't I had a great experience and got my dream dress.
The women who helped me was very kind but the atmosphere was less than desirable. Some of the other employees were complaining about the brides to me and around me which felt unprofessional and zapped the mood. The dressing rooms feel like a pen to hold everyone in, very hard to get a view of the mirror. Not the dress shopping experience I was hoping for.
My fiance is pregnant currently and is going to be in our friend's wedding this coming weekend. The bridesmaid dresses came in and by no surprise, the dress doesn't fit properly on her pregnant figure to no mistake of hers. She contacted the main corporate office and they said that they will not do anything about it since she signed the paper to take the dress. The wedding is in 4 days and they just stole $200+ from my fiance. They like to hide like cowards behind their "signed paper" and will not stand behind their product. We have our own wedding coming up this year as well and we will be sure to persuade every single person we know to boycott this store. Good luck bringing in any net revenue. There's only so many people you can piss off before your business tanks and judging by the reviews across the internet, you've done a good job pissing off the majority of the city of Louisville. I'll be there to wave your unemployed staff goodbye.
Bridal Warehouse was wonderful!!! I walked in not expecting to find my dress that day, but walked out with the perfect one! Jackie helped me with the selection and immediately picked up on exactly the kind of dress i was looking for and what would look best for my body type. She was full of helpful advice and great ideas. I would highly recommend Bridal Warehouse to any Bride-to-be!
Large selection, and my consultant was nice. definitely NOT the "Say Yes to the Dress" experience I had pictured. they let me try on a dress WAY over budget and the manager was very rude, she made a seen in the fitting room because I dared to ask if they would work with me on the price of my gown since I was buying it off the rack. It left me in tears and not the happy kind. Alterations was good to me and almost made up for the awful start. That said it is a wide selection but just a word of caution do not go in there expecting that boutique experience, it is what they call it, a warehouse.
Found my dress on the first visit and fell in love! It was the sample dress and last one in stock. I bought it 50% and had to have significant alterations to bring it down 10 sizes. The sales team was great, and the alterations team even better. After 2 fittings, the dress was perfect - you could not tell it was downsized so much. They were easy to schedule and made you feel special. Highly recommend for anyone looking at a gorgeous gown for reasonable price.
I scheduled an appointment several weeks in advance to look at dresses with my mom. When I arrived at the store, I was not greeted, and when someone finally came over to the desk to ask what I needed, she appeared very inconvenienced that I was there despite having an appointment. I was told that an associate was not available, but would join us later. We rarely saw our sales associate throughout the appointment. All of the dresses in the store are to be bought straight from the rack unless you pay more than the regular price. I didn't like this because you never know if someone has messed up the dress while trying it on. Overall, I was extremely disappointed by this store, and would urge customers to go somewhere that they'll actually be treated as a valued customer. Every bride deserves to feel like she is special as she buys her wedding dress, and that won't happen at this store.
I purchased my wedding gown from here roughly a year before my wedding. I live about an hour and a half away so we made an appointment and packed the car full of wedding dress shopping essential people. I gave my budget to one of the consultants and we picked some gowns as well as her. The gown I chose was more expensive than the budget I originally told the consult but I didn't mind because I loved it! Once I checked out they told me it would be 5-6 months before it came in. I got a phone call exactly one week later saying my dress was in. This is the part where I mention that the gown I chose and tried on that day in the salon fit me perfectly. I questioned them and they assured me that my dress was in. So my mom and I traveled to the salon and they just handed the dress to me and said have a good day. I explained that I wanted to try it on to make sure everything looked ok. Well when I tried it on it was the sample dress they put me in that day. It was filthy, beads falling off, and flowers falling off. They were going to let me walk out of that salon with a sample gown when I paid for a new gown that I should mention cost $1,400. I was livid. They said there was no manager on duty and they called her at her house and we were instructed we would receive a call tomorrow from the manager. She was very nice and apologized and ordered me a new gown right then. When my dress came in it was new and perfect. I didn't purchase anything else from them.
I purchased my ceremony gown from the Louisville, Ky location and I had the best experience with them. The young lady that helped me was very helpful and attentive. I told her what type of gown I wanted and after she saw some of the pieces I pulled, she pulled a few for me and the very last one she pulled I fell completely in love with and that's the gown I chose. It's gorgeous and it was VERY affordable because of the awesome sale they were having. I highly recommend this store.
The dress was so beautiful and the staff were great and so helpful!
I used Bridal Warehouse in Louisville for my bridal parties attrie for both the bridesmaids and groomsmen. I also looked there for my wedding gown, veil, and hairpiece but had to go to the one in Etown to try it on and buy it. The girl that helped us look at wedding gowns at the Louisville store was very friendly, I can't say the same about the Etown store.
When I went to get my gown I was under the impression that a dress would have to be ordered so I started earlier. The dress I tried on and feel in love with at the Etown bridal warehouse fit me, but was just a little big in some areas. That day I was told I would have to take the sample dress I had tried on since it was my size. Keep in mind I went in early and I got my dress about a year and half early (I was under the impression I would have to order the dress so I started early). My mother and I looked over the sample gown to make sure if was okay and didn't have any stains or imprefections to it since it had been tried on before (unsure how many times the dress had been tried on before I tried it on).
I also got my veil and hairpiece there. I loved my hairpiece, the girl at the Louisville store and showed me how it could be turned into a bracelette after I wore it on my wedding day. I thought that was so neat and knew I had to have it to add to my bling.
My Bridemaid dress experience was okay at the Louisville store. We did go on a Saturday morning, but we had an appointment and went when the store first opened to beat the crowds. I had already went in a picked out a few gowns I liked for the girls to try on. When the store associates told the girls to pick out gowns they didn't pull up my favorites I had picked out and we had to go through them all again and find them, (some were easier to find then others). Also they don't have any big sizes to try on over size 10. I felt bad that two of my girls didn't get to try on a dress, because of the limited sample sizes.
The tux store inside of Bridal warehouse was very friendly and very helpful. My groom and I went and picked out everyones tux style and colored vest and ties. All the guys had to do was come in give them the groom's name and get fitted. We loved their tuxes we picked out for our wedding day. They complimented the girls dresses perfectly. The only mishap was with my Father's tux his pant zipper broke that morning before the ceremony so we just used some safety pins for a quick fix.
Bridal Warehouse worked very well with me. The staff are professional and helpful. They were able to help me find dresses that fit the style I was looking for as well as price range.
I went to the bridal warehouse on a whim while in Kentucky visiting my grandmother. I'm so glad I did because I ended up finding my perfect dress! I was a very petit bride, size 0, and they did not have any dresses smaller than a 2, and those were very limited. I waited a little too long to find a dress, so ordering one in my size would have been cutting it a little too close for my wedding date. With that being said I found my dress there in a size 6 and they let me buy that one right off the rack and altered it down to my tiny size! They were easy to work with and accommodated my schedule for fittings. I live in Virginia and drove 5 hours muliplte times just to come to Bridal Warehouse! They have a good selection and will work with your budget.
This is a great place for you if you like to go through the dresses yourself and not be hounded by a salesperson. The staff is very kind and helpful, but often there are not enough of them to help you individually for a long period of time. That was a good thing for me personally as I get anxious when I feel like I am being pressured. The quality of gown for the $$ was great. They have a very big selection of all different kinds of gowns for all different sizes to choose from.
I made an appointment with them with my dream dress in mind. They some very similar dresses and some very different dresses to make sure you don't change your mind. They were so helpful.I found my dream dress on my very first visit. They have a WIDE variety for all shapes and sizes! Alterations was so fast since I had traveled for my dress they got them done the day I came in for my fitting! I highly recommend them!
I bought my wedding dress and all of our bridesmaid dresses from Bridal Warehouse. The girl who helped me was nice; however, I purchased my first dress and two days later she called to tell me it only came in plus size so it would have to be altered down three sizes to fit me. I think that should have been known before I paid for the dress. So I had to go back and find another dress. I ended up loving that dress even more so that all worked out, I guess. When I called to set up an alterations appointment, they were very rude to me and had a horrible attitude. I ended up having my dress altered somewhere else. I loved my dress and I know that Bridal Warehouse has some of the best prices around but their customer service is, to say the least, lacking.
I went to Bridal Warehouse with a few family members looking for my gown. I'd made an appointment, and brought some pictures of gowns that I liked. The consultant greeted us and talked with me about what I wanted, but when I began trying on the dresses every single one that the consultant had pulled were the wrong style. I realized that we were using different definitions for the same words and she really wasn't listening to me at all. I left the appointment very frustrated. After visiting a couple other stores without success, we ended up back at Bridal Warehouse a few days later. I asked for a different consultant, explained my desired style, and a short while later I was standing in my dream dress! The consultants were friendly and helpful, we just had to get on the same page with each other. I bought the dress and a belt, then made an appointment for alterations. I was shocked at the price of alterations, though, which was quite a bit higher than the estimate I was given at the time of purchase. And at the reception, the bustle didn't hold and I was tripping on my dress. Overall, I got a beautiful dress (despite the misguided consultant) at a good price, but in hindsight I feel that I should have used a different alterations service that was more personalized.

I will start out saying I have been a wedding planner for over 15 years. My nephew was is getting married and the bridesmaids dresses his intended had picked out were at Bridal warehouse in Louisville,Ky. We all gathered there and no one greeted us. I personally had to keep going to find someone to answer questions. Finally I started pulling dresses since it was apparent no one was going to help us.We finally decided on a dress and the ladies proceeded to get measured. My one niece was very resistant about order a size 28, however they were the "experts" and convinced us that was the size to order. The next day I called back to the store and spoke with the manager Stephanie to inform her of the lack of customer service. She did not seem interested at all that we received that type of service. I then proceeded to call the Elizabethtown store. I spoke to a wonderful , gracious person by the name of Jackie who listened and made me feel much better. I apreciated her so much!! Fast forward to months later and our dresses arrived. My niece that had ordered the size 28 picked up her dress and tried it on, it fell down off of her!!!! She did not loose weight, she was simply measured improperly. I called the store and spoke to yet again Stephanie the store manager who was rude, insensitive and very non- caring. All I wanted was for to acknowledge that if there was an issue on their side that we would not have to pay for alterations. She also explained we would need to pay a rush fee to have our dress done in time. The alterations lady had already said the dress would have to be re- made. Therefore my niece's dress will not look like everybody's else. Not once did Stephanie offer to assure me the problem could be resolved that they would work with us at all. As much as I hate to say this, I am just wondering now is it because we were black. I watched the first time we were in there of other clients that were greeted upon arrival. Just makes me think. I did call Jackie back at the Elizabethtown store who once again showed concern, professionalism in all aspects. We decided not to chance having the alterations done there since they show they really were not concerned at all about our business. Why give them more money?? I was hoping this was a fluke but as I have read other reviews, I know we are not the only ones who have had this issues. Moral of THIS story... DO NOT go into Bridal Warehouse in Louisville, Ky. Perhaps a dose of customer service might help this group. Jackie is great, they could take some notes from her especially the store manager.
I love my dress. I didn't expect to get the dress I actually chose, but by dress 10 I found the one. The ladies were great to work with from the purchase of the dress through the multiple fittings. I would highly recommend stopping by if you are in the market for a wedding dress. The selection is fantastic. It was the only place I went.
Very helpful in finding a perfect fit for me. At a great budget price. My only complaint was when I schelduled my dress fitting for 3 weeks before the wedding they didn't mention they would charge a $50 rush fee
I purchased my first gown from here but had dress regret. Ended up coming back two more times to try again. I really love their consultant Lori. I was fortunate to have her my subsequent visits. She was really patient with me trying on dresses and wouldn't give up until we found the one I loved. She listened to what I wanted in a dress and I think we must had tried on every dress that fitted those characteristics until I made my final decision. Plus there was no pressure as she even told me to go home and sleep on it. I ended up picking an Allure gown..it's beautiful.
Once the staff member 'assigned' to me realized that my budget was somewhat low for their standards (three hundred) she was extremely rude to me. There were other girls there with multiple thousands of dollars on their budget and she was leaving me throughout the try-ons to go put her nose in THOSE girl's business. At one point she actually took an item from my pile of things to give to another girl. I had to explain to this girl what had happened because it was the only belt of its kind left. It was ridiculous. My maid of honor ended up finding my dress on her own on a clearance rack. I absolutely LOVED my dress, but the service there was terrible... and the sales clerk was even more rude when I said I wasn't going to use their seamstress. Rude. Definitely didnt make my day as fairy-tale like as it should have been, but I'm glad I found my dress.
Bethenny was so helpful and sweet! I bought my wedding dress and all bridesmaid dresses here. I also had alterations done for my wedding dress. I had a great experience, and did not have any trouble. Thank you so much for all the hard work!
This has literally been the worst experience of my life! I bought a dress I loved, went for my "final" dress fitting after I already had a fitting that was supposed to be final, and the dress didnt fit at all. Alterations is soooo rude and act like they dont care about it, then charge you WAY too much. My dress was 900, and I spend 300 on alterations when all they did was sew a sash on and fix my bussle pretty much! THEN they ordered the wrong size flower girl dress and said I authorized it, so they are charging me more money to alter it because they cant switch it out for a different size. THEN I went to do my bridal pics a week after I got my dress. I never took it out of the bag till I put it on when I had my hair and makeup done. My ribbon to lace up my dress was completely not in the bag. Of course I was upset, so I called and they were the rudest people ever to me! The manager said "Well, I dont know what you want me to do about it." I told her shes gonna have me a sash and she said well your gonna have to come up here and get it, and we close in an hour. Thank God I was close by so it only took a few minutes. But it was such an inconvience for me and the fact they dont ever care about how the brides feel is not ok! I would never recommend anyone going here! I even told people in the parking lot to run away. This is my first review I have written in my life, but I just want to save you guys the trouble from dealing with these idiots. They have the worst turnover with employees and always have help wanted signs up. I can see why!!!! You will be better off going somewhere else and paying a couple hundred dollars more and getting excellence service then deal with this place. Even the first time I went to get a dress was not what I imagined. I showed her the dress off THEIR website, and she said they haven't had it in a long time. Stay away girls!!!! This has been a horrible experience for me and would never wish it on anyone.
If you are thinking of going to Bridal Warehouse for your wedding, DON'T. You will regret it. My wedding is two months away, and they've butchered my dress so that it's completely unwearable. Now I have to try to find ANOTHER dress in two months' time. It has been a horrible nightmare working with this company.
I bought a dress I loved, over 10 months ago, that just needed the straps shortened slightly (they were sagging in the back) and the ribcage let out about a half an inch. I got the dress back the first time, and the straps were waaay too short (the bust of the dress is about 4 inches too high, level with my underarms). The a-line of the dress was moved up when they shortened the straps so that the whole dress, from bust to hips is HUGE on me. They say the dress is perfect, and that it's MY fault because I must have lost weight. They told me I would have to REPAY $200+ to have the problem fixed, which of course I don’t agree with, seeing as I didn’t do anything wrong, and I’ve already paid $350!
After my 2nd fitting, the dress is even worse. There are THREE full inches of space between my ribcage and the dress! I have always been the same size, a 2. There's no way I lost 3 inches around my ribcage in 10 months! Plus, the straps aren't at all even. In the back, one is an inch wide and the other 2 inches wide and curved. It fit better for alterations touched it. We have given them plenty of chances to fix it, and they refuse to see the serious defaults in this dress that are direct result of the alterations staff's work.
My mom and I have cried and begged and pleaded with them to make this right, and they refuse. What's worse is that even their corporate office won't help us, and they ignore our calls and never call us back to talk about the issue. Please save yourself the heartache and trouble, and take your money somewhere else. I understand that it's hard to admit your mistakes, but taking $700 of someone's hard-earned money and leaving them with no functional product is theft in my opinion.
I found my dress which was beautiful but customer service was lacking
I bought my dress at Bridal Warehouse the day I tried the dress on, the first day I looked at dress. I was recently engaged with no family in town at the time. I had planned on casually shopping that day and when I started to narrow down the dresses, all the workers were helpful and kind and helped me feel like I had support in the store (even though I didn't have friends or family with me).
Staff was very helpful in helping me find a dress that complimented my style and body type. Excellent selection of dresses to choose from, and my sales person was very patient with me. Nice experience.
The girls were really friendly helping me pick out my dress and I love it! I was under a time limit so I got $50 off for buying my dress off the rack.
The selection of bridesmaid dresses wasn't what I hoped and that's why I gave 4/5 stars but we did get the bridesmaid dresses there as well and we loved them!
I did not have alterations done at BW because I found them cheaper elsewhere.
This was my second spot when searching for a dress and I found the one here! I told the sales lady what I was looking for and she pulled some dresses for me. I tried mine on and fell in love! I came back later to have it altered and they did an incredible job.
I went with out an appointment and was able to get a fitting room pretty quick. Just be sure to go in before 2pm. They get very busy after 2pm.
I had a handful of dresses to try on... they all failed. My bride's maids spotted a dress on another soon to be bride who rejected it, my consultant quickly snatched it up for me and it ended up being THE ONE! One girl's ugly dress, is another's perfect fit. Our skin tone was completely different so the champagne color dress looked amazing with my strawberry blond hair.
The dress was not in perfect condition. There were a few buttons missing and the bottom of the dress was very dirty. Keeping in mind, you are trying dresses off the rack, so they will be dirty. They replaced the buttons on our scheduled fitting day and cleaned the dress to the best of their ability, but lace will not clear up once it's dirty. Another thing to keep in mind.
Over all, the dress was beautiful, the consultants were swift and friendly. Who cares if the bottom of the dress is dirty when you're having an outdoor wedding :-)
I had no problem with them as far as my dress and bridesmaid dresses. I had the most awesome girl helping me though. I have heard bad things, but my experience was great. Liz no longer works there or I would suggest you ask for her. I liked that they let me go through and look at dresses I wanted to try and she had some ideas in case one of my 10+ dresses I had to try on didn't work. They even gave my mom the discount for her mother of the brides dress, 4 months after mine was picked up and paid for.
I can't begin to tell you how many telephone calls we had to double check all of the details of our guys rental suits (seven rentals including the groom). Thank goodness the colors and styles were correct on the wedding day. It's too bad the alterations were so bad. My groom's suit pants were so long that I really don't want to order any photos that show the bottom of his pants. He questioned them when he tried the pants on but they said the length was fine. It was definitely not... Don't forget to have all guys try on every piece before they leave the store... My bridesmaids dresses all turned out alot better, thank goodness.... The colors and sizes were as ordered. They all ended up needing alterations though. If you do go to this store, be sure and ask for Barb. She is the only person that kept me sane when dealing with this store!
I was a walk in, a consultant pulled a few dressed for em, found the dress, but didn't buy it because my sister wasn't with me. I came back, and bought my dress, my mom's and my sister's MOH dress. I felt like I had enough attention. Yes, the consultant was working with another bride, but I was at Bridal Warehouse, buying at $800 dressing, not at Kleinfeld's spending several thousand. The extra time gave me time to discuss with my family. I loved the bridal dress shopping experience here better than anywhere else I went. The alterations ladies did a great job, too!
Horrible experience with Bridal Warehouse ... DON"T GET YOUR DRESS HERE... My dress was supposed to take up to 16 weeks to come it. It came in 4 days after I ordered it and they said it was a "new dress". I had my doubts and so did one of the sales reps there. She said "that's unusual for it to come that fast." It had dirt marks on it in several different places. When I called to complain they said "Yea, sometimes they get dragged through the factory, sorry." When I demanded that they have it cleaned or replaced, they agreed to have their alterations dept. "clean it". They kept my dress for 2 weeks and didn't provide any update until I called and left a messages. They called the next day and said it was ready for pick up. When I got there, it appeared that they hadn't touched the dress. I asked the manager to keep it and have it cleaned AGAIN. She called back 2 days later and said it was ready to pick up. I went to pick it up and it took the store 20 minutes to hunt around to find it. One rep even asked me "are you sure you didn't pick it up already." When they finally brought it out there was still as spot on the front. I showed one of the sales reps to make sure that I wasn't going crazy. She said "you can leave it and Ill try to have someone else clean it." I took my dress and left and will never be back. If they couldn't clean it the first 2 times, what makes me think they will do it the 3rd? Do I really want to trust to have my alterations done there? WHY am i getting a dirty dress in the first place if I paid $1200 for it??? It should be perfect. Very disappointed.
They wouldn't let us stay in our price range and brought me dresses that I had already said I didnt like. I wanted white white, but they tried to get me in ivory and eggshell. They didnt trust me when I told them my size. The staff is completely rude and acted like they didnt have time for me or to help me. They wouldnt help me try on dresses, but let me figure out the snaps, buttons, and zippers alone. They werent even busy that day. The ladies just didnt have time for me. I would never go back there!
Bridal Warehouse has a huge selection--which was convenient when I and my bridesmaids went to pick out bridesmaid dresses. However, there were some service aspects that were not taken care of or explained very well. This occurred upon ordering. They did not inform us that they don't place the order until all the bridesmaids have placed theirs for example, or that it is a hassle to change anything once it is on file with them--not actually ordered yet, just in their computer. Overall, the experience was much more stressful than it should have been. The dresses that we chose were good quality and were very reasonably priced compared to other bridal places we visited. They also had good bridal service when I went to try on wedding dresses. I did not buy my dress here because I found the dress I loved elseware, but it was wonderful to have such a selection to try on. I would just be careful to understand everything and to order early! For bridesmaids dresses I would say earlier than 6 months (my last bridesmaid ordered at 5 months) before the wedding, otherwise you will be cutting it close if anything needs altered.
They have many dresses and a large selection but the service is the worst ever. Even when I made an appointment there was still no one assigned to me. The ones time I did have someone to enter the things that I had to pick out myself, then an older woman came up and told her "there is a girl Hayley over there with her mom and she needs to try on bridal gowns, you need to go over there and help her." I guess they just assume that one person has more money than the next or maybe it's more than that.
I had so much fun at Bridal Warehouse! It was the bridal experience that I had dreamed of. Bethany was my consultant, and I absolutely loved her! Ask for her if you go. She will make it a great experience, and she remembers you!
Everything about my experience with Bridal Warehouse was amazing. My bridal consultant Emily found my perfect dress as soon as I described what I wanted. Every other time I was there I was treated just the same as I was the first day. They remembered me by name and seemed genuinely interested in how my wedding planning was going. My fiance actually picked up my veil, and when Emily heard him say my name she ran over and introduced herself! He knew who she was because I raved about her! Jill, who was did my alterations, made my dress perfect and was wonderful to work with. I don't think my experience with them could have been more perfect.
While the lady who helped to find my dress was very annoyed that I was taking up her lunch hour the rest of the people were wonderful. The seamstresses are GREAT!
The staff here were super nice! I worked with Bethany when buying my dress and she made me feel like a princess! My dress was my dream dress for sure. Also got my tuxes here too!
The dress for the price was good. but the alterations were expressive and i had to go back 4 times before it fit. Which was not convent since I live 2 hours away.
One of my bridesmaids and I had a really bad experience with service at this store. One store employee was repeatedly rude to me during the course of sizing and ordering my dresses. After notifying the managers at the store of my bad experience, I was well taken care of. The store provided a price that could not be beat for my bridesmaids dresses but if they hadn't been considerably cheaper, I would not have ordered anything from this store. Proceed with caution!!!
The staff at Bridal Warehouse was helpful and friendly but not in your face with phony flattery. I received superior service and observed the same level of service among other customers regardless of size, color, or income level. Their selection was fabulous. The alteration process was a bit lengthy, requiring 3 visits. I was not able to get what I thought I wanted - having only two months notice. Instead, I found something much better and was able to purchase "off the rack" and in my size.
I found my dress and it looked great on me. I also ordered a jacket to go with it and it didn't fit so well. Luckily I knew someone who could do alterations because this place only recommends local people which wasn't convenient for my bridesmaids. But they were friendly and sweet.
I tried on a few dresses at bridal warehouse but ended up going with the first dress I tried from another store. I did love the the service from the employees and I purchased accessories from them, and we purchased mother of the groom, aunt and bridesmaids dresses as well. The bridesmaids dresses were amazing and they were very helpful in ordering and shipping to my girls as they were out of state.
Ladies were very nice and helpful and they had a big selection
I found my dream dress there and the staff was very helpful.
After having a horrible bridal experience at another big name bridal shop I came to Bridal Warehouse and found the perfect dress and was able to get it at a discount during the trunk show. Everyone is so friendly and helpful.
I found my dress and was in and out in 2 hours. The perfect dress... I normally wear a size 18-20, so I was a bit apprehensive about what selection they might (or might not) have for plus sizes. I ended up in a size 24 lace-up corset dress that was a ballgown style with pick-ups. I really didn't think I was going to find something that beautiful. Of course, they had all the accessories to go with it. I think the dress ended up being $630... not bad for my size.
We worked with Ann every time we went down there because she was so great. My bridesmaids all found their dresses there, and it was really nice that they had every size through a size 30 in stock. I would definitely recommend this place!!!
Ask for Liz, she is patient and amazing!
I had an idea of what kind of dress I wanted, I tried on a dress that I really liked that I had seen online and fell in love with it. I had a great experience with Bridal Warehouse, with the exception that when I purchased my dress and asked about pricing for fitting if it needed to be taken up wich it did only in length. I was told a price range and the actual cost was about 4 times as much as they had told me it usually is. I only had to have the length taken off the bottom no where else.
I bought my dress at Bridal Warehouse a year and half before my wedding on a fantastic sale! My fiance had given me a budget of $500 for my dress (yeah right!!!) I paid $370!!! And my dress was amazing, tons of beading, high end fabric, the longest train I have ever seen. Don't even waste your time at Davids Bridal. Go to Bridal Warehouse first, they have everything and anything. There inventory is constantly changing every time I went in for a fitting (both of which went awesome!) they had different items on display. I would highly recommend going there first even if its just to try on dresses and see what you like. The first dress I put on was the one, and we tried another 19 after that and they were extremely helpful the whole time.
We went here to purchase my moms 'mother of the bride dress'. The service was great at the time. My mom found a dress she loved, six months out from the wedding. It had to be special ordered due to wanting a different color. Two months before the wedding, the dress was finally ready. We went to pick it up, my mom tried it on...it was terrible. A dress that we waited four months to be 'special made' looked like something someone stitched together overnight. The seems we're uneven, the bottom was crooked, and the color was not even correct. The two managers at the time agreed the dress did not look right. The problem was the manufacturer had to give the 'okay' to refund us the money...of course they refused. Two hours later, we walked out of there after having to call and battle with the maker of the dress over e phone. It was a huge waste of time, my mom did get her money back, but the amount of time we spent having to battle for a refund was ridiculous.
Dress shopping was a blast, and super easy. Bethany was my go to girl and she was fabulous! I only gave it 4 stars because alterations on my gown were super expensive, and the bustle didn't hold at all so I wasn't able to dance much.
I purchased my wedding dress and bridal party dresses here. Bethany was a great help throuought the entire process. She was very helpful and polite while I searched for my perfect dress.
I first went to a different bridal store in Louisville which is a large chain and had a horrible experience. My shopping at Bridal Warehouse was not only fun but I really enjoyed the whole process (even the dresses that weren't so flattering) :)
They were also great when I needed to stop in quickly to pick up the slip, bra, etc since I didn't buy them originally. Highly recommend this store!!
I found my wedding dress in one stop, they are very friendly there.
We used Bridal Warehouse and Tuxedo Avenue for our wedding and they did a satisfactory job. The dress was wonderful and the tuxes were handsome but the sales staff could have used a lesson in friendliness and helpfulness.
I loved Bridal Warehouse because you instantly get your own consultant. And my consultant ended up picking out my wedding dress!! Without her I may have never found it! She was wonderful and very helpful. They also give a military discount (even though I wasn't considered one yet because that's who I was marrying, she still gave it to me)! They didn't rush you at all. She even picked out a beautiful, but reasonable, hairpeice that went with the dress perfectly!
Lori was so helpful in my search for a dress and veil. She also helped with MOB and BMs. Alterations department didn't stop until everything was absolutely perfect.
My dress was perfect, and i had absolutely no problems. Everything was timely, and the staff was very friendly!
I'm a 6' tall woman, so was not sure I'd be able to find a wedding dress right off the rack. I walked into Bridal Warehouse and told them what general style I'd like. The sales person helped me find 6 dresses that ran long and were in the style I liked. The 3rd dress I tried on was it.
They had beautiful, affordable choices and staff who knows how to point a bride in the right direction. I had a great experience.
They only have one size of all the bridesmaids dresses which makes it impossible for everyone to try the dress on. It took way to long to get the dresses in and everytime we would call no one knew what was going on.
I had a awful experience here shopping for my wedding dress. The lady didn't want me to touch the dress or try on a dress I loved.
I said" yes to my dress" from bridal warehouse on saturday January.28,2012 wit bridal consult Brandy on hand and my two gurls to help me decide the perfect dress for my perfect day (Tiffany & India). I had the best experiences and im just as in love wit my dress as my partner to be. I cant wait to go back to bridal warehouse on Feb,7,2012for my fitting. Im so excited and Im as happy as a bride could be getting ready for her wedding day...Thanx bridal warehouse you make finding a bridal dress so easy.
I got my wedding dress here and loved it. I had no problems wedding dress shoping but didn't get ANY help when we went back with bridesmaids looking for dresses. We made an apointment but received no assistance at all.
I LOVE my wedding dress. It's exactly what I wanted (I actually found it in another store for $600 more than what I bought it for here). Their prices are so reasonable and they have a selection bigger than the larger boutiques. I bought my dress in my size, and walked out with it that day. The service can be great at times, and not so great. Guess it depends on who's working that day. And the alterations people were great, but they forgot to sew the hem. If I hadn't tried it on a month before and gotten my finger stuck in the pin we never would have known! But it was totally an honest mistake and they fixed it beautifully. Great selection and GREAT prices!!!!
I had a good experience while picking out a dress. Unfortunately, the saleswoman with whom I worked initially, was new and uninformed about some details. She let me pick a dress that was being discontinued and on sale and led me to believe that I could order it in a different size than the sample for the sale price...$300 cheaper!
After that snafoo, things got better. The best experience was with the alterations department. There is a lady there named Sophia who does the BEST work. She worked wonders with tailor fitting my mermaid dress to my figure. She even helped in an emergency with one of my bridesmaid dresses on the day of.
The alterations department was the bulk of my experience, and I would say that they are superb!
I didn't have a very good experince here. The staff were rude and unhelpful. The selection of dresses were overpriced and minimal at best.
They are wonderful!!
Bridal warehouse has wide selection of dresses to choose from in any price range. My first visit made me feel spoiled. I had several people pulling dresses that matched the style I described and was able to find the perfect dress for me.
I found my dress here. they were very helpful in singling out what i liked and taking away what i didn't. The dress came in a month early. It was perfect!
