so happy I could find my perfect wedding dress there! Every time I came in for alterations the staff was so helpful in making sure my dress fit perfectly and I felt beautiful for my wedding day! I felt so happy and beautiful on my wedding day thanks to VeLace!

we got to the store, we showed the ladies working the color swatch the bride had sent. Immediately, the ladies got to work, figuring out which designers carried that specific color and junior bridesmaids dresses. As a mom, I appreciated that the styles they chose were on the more modest side. As the junior bridesmaid, I know my daughter appreciated being heard and listen to when it came to style preferences. Overall, we had a great experience and it was a lot of fun. We were able to find a dress which my daughter loves in the color that the bride wants in an efficient and fun manner!

idal shop to me and I totally know why!! When I first booked my appointment, Ve’Lace Bridal was so accommodating to my busy summer schedule. I was able to find my dream wedding dress with stylist Ryan. She was so patient, listened to what I wanted and made the try on process a great one. I went back a few weeks later, to officially say yes to the dress and it was the best feeling! Ryan was with me from getting my dress, my fittings and final pick up. She made me feel so supported, was always nice to me and I felt welcomed! My dress was altered by the owner of the shop Shadia. Shadia is SO talented, kind and knows exactly what she is doing. The alterations she did to my dress were remarkable. I always looked forward to going to my wedding alterations because I left feeling so happy. I am forever thankful that Shadia worked on my dress and I purchased it from her shop. I will continue to highly recommend Ve’Lace Bridal shop to everybody. I can’t thank Shadia and Ryan enough! My mom was struggling to find a mother of the bride dress. She came with me for one of my fittings and ended up finding one she loved! They did the alterations for her as well. resses I had sent! I particularly wanted a removable skirt, and the dress I had fell in love with they told me I could add the skirt for $399 - I was ecstatic, bought, signed and left. A few days later Shadia called to tell me that my dress would be actually be in a month after they originally said (which was fine!) and that the designer could not do the removable skirt in time. But she assured me I could buy the fabric and their seamstress would do it for me - it would cost an additional $500. I had already paid and loved this dress so I said ok, what was another $500. When the dress arrived, there was confusion on if I was getting alterations done there, and because of the time I’d have to go to the seamstress in Wellesley instead of at Ve’Lace. I said I absolutely want them to do it since they promised me the making of this skirt. There had to have been a miscommunication, because when I got there the seamstress was stressed when she found out she had to make a skirt and the cost to do it would be $1000 (not the $500 Shadia. And on top of that, it was another $1400 (as much as the dress itself!!) to alter my dress - the size dress they ordered was wayyy too small so they had to essentially take out the entire dress. No fault of Ling who was an amazing seamstress and did a phenomenal job with the dress!!! Highly recommend her. All in all, if they had told me I couldn’t get the skirt sooner, I would have gone with a different dress or gone somewhere else. And I wish they’d done a better job measuring so that they didn’t have to re-do my entire dress. But I loved how my dress, it was exactly what I wanted!

It was also very convenient that they offered tailoring services. My mom also ended up finding her dress here as well. Overall I had a great experience at Ve’lace and I would highly recommend it.

l. They offer gorgeous dresses, veils, accessories, etc., but the best part of my experience was the customer service. When you meet the owner Shadia it is clear why everyone is so happy and bubbly- even at work! During my first appointment Shadia helped me look for dresses and I found it so refreshing that she was on the floor helping brides like me even as the store owner- she truly does love and care about brides and making them feel beautiful and get excited for their wedding day. I had a lot of ups and downs deciding what I wanted and Shadia truly saved the day. No matter how difficult of a bride I probably was for her she was always patient, understanding, reassuring, and worked so hard to help me feel comfortable and find my dream wedding dress that I felt like a princess in. We spend a lot of time in the store, on the phone, and over email to make sure I was certain and comfortable in my choice. One of my favorite things she says is "it's hard being a bride!" she really understands the amount of stress and pressure a wedding and finding a dress can be. I can't thank Shadia enough for her grace and patience with me. She helped me in ways I don't think any other owner would when they have an indecisive bride. The team at Ve'Lace is wonderful and I am very thankful I was able to find my wedding dress with them. There were a couple dresses I wanted to try but they didn’t have in store so they ordered them for me so I could try them on. The customer service was excellent. I felt super comfortable as soon as I walked through the door. I got my dress there and also, my bridesmaids dresses. I did get my alterations done through the store and my dress fit like a glove. If you don’t want to go to several stores dress shopping, save the time and just go to Ve’Lace!

The owner, Shadia, helped pick out many dresses for her to try on listening to her wants and concerns. My MIL found her perfect dress after going to many other shops prior! Shadia and her team are truly the best - I could not recommend Ve’Lace more!!

I went to Velace hoping to find my dress, nervous hearing from others that dress shopping was a stressful experience for them. Velace made me feel comfortable and calm, and listened to what I was looking for. I got my alterations done through Velace as well and they were extremely accommodating and made my dress fit like a glove! I also brought my mom to Velace after trying for months to find a mother of the bride dress, and they helped her to find her dress as well. They made her feel so comfortable and confident during a process that was stressful for her. I truly believe this is the best place to find a wedding dress!

xtremely disappointing. The booked attendant barely paid attention to my mother and was often gone 10-20 minutes without notice. I ended up having to pick out dresses for my mom and zip/clip her in them. It was difficult finding an attendant to give us the time of day, but the brides who were there got lots of attention from the store. The selection and store were small, which is fine, but it felt like she was second-rate. I felt like she was ignored because she wasn't a bride and because she's an older woman. It was extremely discouraging for both of us.

This past weekend, Mary Jo assisted myself and my sister with finding our dream dresses. At the start of our appointment, she took notes on what we were looking for, our wedding dates, and our fiancés names. She didn’t need to look at those notes, not even once. She never forgot a detail about either of us. Mary Jo made me feel confident, and she knew just what I was thinking without even saying anything at all. ress I had tried on. When my original dress came in and I still could not stop thinking about the other dress, Shadia and Mary Jo were so quick to work with me and get me in the perfect dress for me! They worked with the designer and squeezed me in for a follow up appointment so quickly! The whole process was stress free - from buying my dress to my alterations with Ana - I never worried about my dress because I knew how much this shop cares about their clients. Also, Dorota, the seamstress, is an artist!! Not only did my dress fit like a glove, she created the most beautiful bustle! I could not have imagined a more beautiful dress! My wedding was last weekend so I will post pictures once I get the professional photos.

loved simple but I also loved big, sparkly ballgowns. How is it possible to get both? I didn't know but they sure did. They worked hard to find the perfect simple dress with an extravagant overskirt... something I would have never thought of. I didn't think I was going to find my dress that day, but ended up saying yes on the spot. From my first appointment, all the way through my final fitting, the staff at Ve'Lace made me feel so pretty and welcomed. I was sad to leave after my final appointment but so excited to wear my beautiful dress with the overskirt! Thank you Ve'Lace!! Definitely recommend shopping here!

et. Straight to the point...I said yes to the dress...but with LOTS of happy tears. This was my first real experience but I know I couldn't of asked for a better dress consultant like Mary Jo. She always had me in good spirits and always positive.

er - she had a great experience and highly recommended it. I'm a plus-size bride so there was a lot of anxiety surrounding wedding dress shopping. I did a lot of online research to find local bridal shops that would have a large variety of sample dresses in my size to try on in store. This research led me to a few other shops. Ve'Lace did not mention plus sizes on their website which ended in me not initially making an appointment here. I would recommend that information regarding sample sizes carried in store be added to the FAQs page for future plus size brides. At one of my other appointments, I found THE dress. I loved it, got "that feeling" however, it was about 5 sizes too small and could not come close to closing in the back. This dress was just under 2k and for a purchase that big for a day this big, I wanted to make sure I loved the back as well and could see what the back would actually look like. I reached out to that store and asked if they could order a sample/loaner of that dress in my size or closer to my size from the designer and they gave me a BS response saying "they're only able to borrow whatever size they have available and they are usually not plus size options but you loved this dress and should order it because I'm confident you will like it even more in your size". I then research shops in my area that may carry the dress or have a sample in my size. I reached out to many shops who said they didn't have it in store and that they could order me the dress to purchase but not to loan. After I reached out on the website, Shadia, the owner at Ve'Lace, let me know she could order a try-on gown for me in my size and it would be in the shop for me to try on in two weeks. Willing to work with me and accommodate me to make sure that I'm happy with my 2 thousand dollar purchase. I had to pay the shop's $50 appointment fee which would be applied to the cost of the dress once/if I purchased and I was happy to pay that fee. Shadia was incredibly kind and accommodating and ordered the loaner in the exact size AND color way that I wanted. We made an appointment and I was good to go. A few days before my appointment, Mary Jo (the stylist I was assigned to) called me to check in, get the backstory, hear a little bit about me and what I was looking for, and let me know what a stunner my dress was! On the day of my appointment I couldn't wait to get into the dress. Mary Jo was kind, got to know me a bit more, and knew I was eager to get into my dress. She let me know I had her for the full hour and a half and said I could try on other dresses if I wanted to as well. As I figured, once I put on my dress I knew it was the one and there was no need to try on other dresses - Mary Jo helped me find a veil that matched perfectly and I said yes to the dress. Mary Jo even dimmed the lights in the shop to make sure I could get the full effect and see what it would look like at nighttime. Shadia even said that they loved the dress so much they're going to buy one to have in the store full time once they send my loaner back! I'm so thankful that Ve'Lace was able to accommodate me and I was more than happy to give them my business! Thanks all!!
