count, custom menu and elaborate NYE wedding plans. Olivia was our point person and made sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. She knew every detail and made it all flow so seamlessly. Our guests were amazed at how we transformed the space in addition to all the food from appetizers to late night snacks. My biggest concern had been feeling cramped with our 150 guest count, dance floor and band and it all fit perfectly. We could not have been happier with how our wedding turned out and it is truly all because of Venue 1223, Olivia and the Downtown Catering team!

te of hors d’oeuvres waiting for each of us (the pimento grilled cheese bites were AMAZING...so many guests commented on how good they were.) We had about 80 guests and the space was perfect. We had the bar outside which was really nice for the guests to be able to cool off when they went outside to grab a drink. There was plenty of space for the dance floor, so nobody was bumping into one another or stepping on toes. Tiara brought us our dinner and made sure we had whatever we wanted throughout the night which was so incredibly helpful, especially since we were trying to get around to see all our guests. The food was excellent (we had the southern BBQ buffet). I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding reception for anyone who is considering a Hilton Head/Bluffton wedding!

Since we were coming from Ohio and incorporating a vacation around the wedding day, Maren didn't let us down on taking care of everything so we could enjoy family time, pool and beach, and visiting guests who came down to be with us. We also were without a photographer 2 days before the wedding due to an accident and within an hour Maren had us in touch with another and they were phenomenal. Although we had only met a couple of times, Leah surprised me and came to the venue to give me a hug and say congratulations. That meant alot! Our guests complimented us for days on how good the food was, and how polite and fun the servers and bartender were. The shrimp and grits were AWESOME!

ling a little bit when putting some of the apps out and forgot a few things that my mom and aunt had to ask them to do/put out, but otherwise, everything went very smoothly! All of the staff were so nice, the food was DELICIOUS, and the space was decorated nicely! It felt very intimate but open and was a great space for my guests to enjoy (inside and outside!). The pricing wasn't bad either! They worked with me even at the last minute to add a couple that I had forgotten in the count!
