so glad I did! I fell in love with the dress (I was torn between two)! She let me go back and forth trying them on, and I was able to FaceTime my mom and step-mom who weren’t able to come. Overall I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

and kept it in my price range. I tried on several beautiful dresses but I just was not feeling them. They had originally pulled a dress with a lavender undertone that was slightly out of my price range, but at some point had decided that maybe I wouldn’t want to try it after all. When the owner came in, she listened to what I wanted and said she had the dress she thought I’d love but it was slightly out of my price range. I decided there was no harm in trying it on because I didn’t think I’d like it given the silhouette was more fitted and I knew I didn’t want that. Boy was I wrong. The dress is absolutely stunning and I bought it. I was given full knowledge that the dress was a bit more then I wanted to spend and never felt any sort of pressure to try it on. It is everything I asked for. It has the exact color I was looking for and it fits my frame very nicely. They showed me some options that could be added to the dress to make it that much more perfect and I have nothing but great things to say about my experience there. I walked in the store not expecting to find a dress at all, and I left with the dress of my dreams. The staff really listens and is knowledgeable about what they have in stock and if they can’t find the exact dress, they have options to get the dress to exactly what you want. I cannot recommend them enough!

I got the chance to go. I'm a plus sized bride and was incredibly nervous to walk out empty handed. I got the pleasure of working with Jessica the owner. From the start she made me feel at ease and asked me questions about what I had in mind for a dress/where my wedding was/budget etc. She went and picked out a few gowns without even asking me what size I wore and I was blown away because every dress she picked for me almost fit like a glove and I cannot express how shocked and impressed I was with her for that. I know it's her store/her inventory but her ability to actually remember every dress that fit my needs/wants and in my size is crazy impressive. Even though it was a very busy fast paced sample sale event with lots of brides waiting, I didn't feel rushed or pressured. Jessica actually picked my dream dress and it was the first one I tried on and the first one I cried in. Best experience hands down. I wish I could do it again haha I cannot express how happy and lucky I feel to be a Verita Bride and to have found my dream dress in my budget I still can't believe it ❤️❤️❤️ thank you Jessica and to the team at Verita!

Among them was my PERFECT dress - and I purchased it for 29% off the list price at that! Sophie provided excellent customer service, including follow up, and I believe her when she says she is truly happy for me - Verita "strives to make personal connections" - and they succeeded with this bride!

. Sophie asked me details about my wedding and my dress preferences as soon as we got there. She pointed me to my rack and we got started! After every dress, she gave me her opinion and advice about the dress and possible alterations. Then we found that dress that checked almost every one of my boxes. Her coworker saw me in it and said, that dress was amazing on my body shape, so it went into the top 2 pile. After trying it on for the 2nd time I was sold! Tears and all. These women are so educated and passionate about their work, I couldn't recommend them more. Make them your first stop, promise you won't be disappointed!

I told them what shape and detail I was interested in and they let us pull a few dresses and they also pulled a few. I did two rounds of about 5 dresses at a time and this made it much less overwhelming. They so easily verbalized what I was thinking when I had trouble expressing my thoughts about each dress. At one point I made one little comment about the detailing on the dresses I was trying on and Jess just walked off and literally came back with the ONE! And it would have never been something I would have even thought to try on. But I am so grateful that I did! Each dress was so beautiful and they have a ton of options in all shapes and sizes. Seriously go see them, you won't regret it!

To start the appointment, Jessica scrolled through my Pinterest board, talked through my vision and what I liked, directed us towards the dresses that fit best with my vision, and let us have at it. Jessica, myself, and my two friends began picking dresses. Jessica was very transparent if a dress we liked was over my budget, to make sure I was aware. -Trying on: I ended up trying on three rounds of dresses. The first round was to hone in on my style and identify what I did and didn't like. The second round refined our search. The third round was to revisit and compare my top two dresses. I didn't feel like I tried on too many dresses and for this reason I didn't get overwhelmed. -What set Verita apart: I'm an indecisive person and was scared that bridal dress shopping was going to be my worst nightmare because of that. Once Jessica knew my style, she chipped away at it until we found The One, and for this reason, I never felt overwhelmed. (Whereas at another salon I felt very overwhelmed because they were suggesting I try on SO MANY different styles and it was confusing my vision). I LOVED that Verita has mirrors in the fitting room, so that I could see the dress before it got pinned and shown to my friends. It's so simple, but some salons don't have mirrors in the room, and I feel like that wastes time because if there was a dress I didn't like as soon as I pulled the dress on, we were able to just quickly move on from it. To that note, once I was on the pedestal and pinned in, in front of my friends, Jessica did a wonderful job of directing my thoughts and made the decision making feel EASY. She also never made me stay in a dress too long that wasn't a five-stars reaction, because you don't go looking for a 4/5 stars dress after all. I need to also say that my friends, having been with me for my two appointments that day, commented to me that they felt Jessica CRUSHED IT hands down by making suggestions and guiding me in a calm and helpful way. -After the appointment: I thought I may have found The One at Verita (it was a dress Jessica had picked!) but had another bridal appointment booked afterwards that I still went to because they had a designer I had been obsessing over. Jessica texted me after that second appointment to ask how it went and graciously offered for me to come back to re-try on the dress I loved at Verita in case having it on would help in my decision making. She let me come back in and try it on with very little notice (we were right down the road at the time), and quickly got me back into what ended up being "my" dress. From there, the measurements and payment were all super easy and fast! And yes, we ended the experience with more champagne.

She dolled me up with a veil and she passed me tissues when I had my wedding dress moment! On top of that, she moved around her schedule the next weekend so that I could do a show and tell dress appointment with my family. You have to check out Verita!! And I highly recommend their semi-annual sample sales!

I didn’t want to take it off and Jessica found the most perfect veil to go with the dress. Her feedback was honest and exactly what I needed. Jessica pulled a bunch that matched what I described and a few that she wanted me to try. The first dress I tried on was one that she had wanted me to try, the second I put it on I fell in love. I went on to try on more than a dozen dresses and found 2 more that I loved, but ultimately it was that first dress that Jessica pulled for me that I said yes to! It just goes to show that Jessica knows her brides well, she picked the most perfect dress that I might not have picked for myself and not only is it stunning but so flattering! I went to one other salon because I felt that I had to try more dresses on and that it was too crazy that the very first dress I tried on was the one. I instantly regretted this choice, nothing could compare to Verità and working with Jessica, she has such a bubbly and warm personality that instantly makes you feel so comfortable and makes the experience fun!
