Today Villa Russo is Queens’ premier event venue for Weddings, Sweet Sixteens, and other special events. With humble beginnings more than 65 years ago, Villa Russo began when two sons of Italian immigrants opened Russo’s Pizzeria on 101 Avenue in the Richmond Hill neighborhood of Queens, NY. Villa Russo has four banquet rooms which can accommodate parties from 20 people to 275. Each venue is distinctive, with an elegant, Old World charm that adds to the elegance and uniqueness of your party or event. Marble and granite floors, walls of Italian stucco, dramatic surrounding balconies, statuary, vintage chandeliers. Special lighting to enhance the mood and ambiance. Every detail is designed to turn our unique event space into the unforgettable experience you are looking for. The Palace Room is Villa Russo’s largest space and can accommodate up to 275 guests. With its beautiful indoor balcony and private bridal suite, it’s perfect for larger weddings. Filled with old world charm and elegance, the high ceilings and vintage chandeliers create a dramatic effect. It’s truly a unique, one-of-a-kind venue for a wedding or any other large affair. The Grotto Room is located on our lower level. It can accommodate between 75 to 175 guests. A magnificent stone fireplace creates a warm, comfortable atmosphere. With beautiful, rich, earth-tone granite floors and Tuscan brick walls, the space is full of inviting charm and elegance. The Grotto’s intimate setting is perfect for your special event and is often used for on-site ceremonies. If you are looking for a small wedding venue, Villa Russo’s Party Room is a perfect choice. It’s also a great option for birthdays, showers, wedding rehearsal dinners, or corporate meetings. Party Room pricing is quite affordable so that anyone on a budget can enjoy the high-quality food and great service that Villa Russo brings to every event. Enter The Restaurant Grotto through the brick archway and be enchanted. This intimate space accommodates a maximum of 35 guests and is typically used for small dinner parties or corporate meetings and presentations. Its cozy atmosphere and warmth are perfect for any small gathering celebrating an event to remember.

The experience I had with having our wedding reception at Villa Russo was amazing! The awesome Maitre D and all the staff were just above & beyond. Our wedding got delayed an hour prior the reception (due to the makeup artist being backed up), ...
but the Maitre D worked with us so that we were able to take our wedding photos throughout the night during the reception. I personally really appreciated that! And the owner, George, was the sweetest. He personally came in to made sure every went well. Of course there’s Donna, the awesome woman that helped us plan it all! There’s not enough words to express our appreciation for her! Thank you Villa Russo for such a beautiful night! The food and cake was amazing as well! Such good quality and taste 👌🏼.

. We ended up getting their Sunday all-inclusive package, which simplified things greatly – the DJ, photographer, video, photo booth, and limo were all included. We had our whole wedding on-site at Villa Russo, holding our ceremony in the Grotto and our reception in the Palace Room. The event went very smoothly, with tasty food and lovely décor. All the choices we made with Jennifer’s help were realized perfectly on the day itself. The maître d’ and his team took excellent care of us all day. Villa Russo gets highest marks from us, and we would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone else. A+++

The maitre d', Kim, was also phenomenal. She made sure I was comfortable (and fed) the entire time, and she allowed for evening's events to flow perfectly. The price was great, food was even better, but most importantly my guests had a wonderful time and were amazed at how beautiful the venue was.

place is beautiful. It is so nicely decorated, you really don’t need to add much at all. The entire venue has a very warm and inviting feel to it. If you like the pictures they have on the website, it looks even better in person. It has an elegant and vintage look, and it is unlike any other venue I have visited. We absolutely loved the Venetian inspired décor and felt like we stepped into a little place in Italy.
The food is delicious here. First of all, they give you a lot of food and a lot of choices. We had 6 entrée choices, most places only give 3. We upgraded our package to include a hot buffet for our cocktail hour. It was so worth it. Everyone loved the food. We also decided to get the Venetian hour with every dessert you could imagine. Our guests were very happy to leave with goody bags of sweets that they just couldn’t wait to enjoy later.
Lastly, I have to commend the Staff. This place knows good service. I cannot express how grateful I am to them for helping us plan and carry out every detail of this wedding. Jennifer was managing our wedding. She is amazing and was such a sweetheart. She was so helpful with offering us options and suggestions. We had a unique request for our wedding cake and she made sure we were able to get what we wanted. Thank you to Danielle, who made our cake. It was everything we could have hoped for and more. It was a huge hit at the wedding and everyone had to take pictures of it. Our Maître d’ was Kim. She was awesome. She left no stone unturned in carrying out the event flawlessly. She has so much experience and it shows. She had everything moving along effortlessly and with such control. I felt so confident with our event in her hands. The rest of the staff that we dealt with was also so nice and accommodating. Thank you to Jennifer, Susan, Betsy, Kim, and the rest of the staff at Villa Russo for making our event so special. My guests are still talking about how much fun they had, how good the food was, how great the service was, and how beautiful the place was. We will definitely host future events here.
