I feel like nothing I write will be able to truly describe how amazing VisArts was for our wedding reception. It was the perfect choice. We wanted a modern, city feel and we definitely got that there. The artist concourse was great for the cocktail hour. It felt upscale and... Read More modern. Mary was nothing shy of amazing and really made the planning process feel easy! We had plenty of space for our appx. 120 guests and the band to play. It was especially nice for the winter because we had the holiday decorations and that view of the ice skating rink. We took portraits on the roof before the wedding and got some spectacular shots. There is a ton to do around there. We had our rehearsal dinner at La Tasca. We also continued the reception party at Bar Louie after the wedding. It was great to have the guests staying at the Cambria Hotel and it was convenient for them to walk back to the hotel after the reception. In dealing with wedding vendors, it can be hard to know if they have your best interest at heart or if they want a bigger paycheck. With VisArts, there was no doubt they wanted to make sure our day was special. We wish we could do it all over again!

I highly recommend Visarts for any event that needs to be held. I had my wedding reception at Visarts and it was perfect, beautiful, and extraordinary. There's great flow space, where the cocktails and hors d'oeuvres area leads to the banquet room. We also rented the room... Read More next to the banquet room, which allowed some guests to sit during cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, and also allowed our vendors to sit and eat later on in when the food was served. Our food was buffet style, so the cocktails and hors d'oeuvres are was converted quickly to where people can get there food. Everything was very efficient. The banquet room was large enough to allow our 150 guests to sit and move around comfortably, with a large dance floor to dance the night away. There's also a room to change clothes or take a break in, which is always nice. Jackie was a pleasure to work with. She was very helpful in giving us the details of how everything would be set up and answered all our questions in a timely manner. All our guests complimented us on the venue. Visarts is very modern, trendy, and allowed our guests to peak at some art while enjoying the party.

I had a very specific vision for my wedding. Visarts really embraced the idea and helped make it happen. Many thanks to the staff who went above and beyond to make it happen. The location was perfect for 140 people. The gallery gave the wedding its own charm and uniqueness.

The venue was very warm for the amount of people present. The air conditioner could have been higher. We were told the venue can hold 150 people, but with only 125 people, the space was very crowded.

If you're looking for an original, intimate and classy wedding reception - I would highly recommend VisArts! The Buchanan room fit my 160 guests perfectly with plenty of dance floor space.
