It was nice that Hilton gave me some points … but 10,000, when it cost at least 65,000 points for the cheapest day at this Waldorf and my gift certificate was for a night at the Waldorf. I would have stayed but Covid destroyed most travel for m...
e until the middle of last year. I can’t help that I got sick and was in and out of the hospital and bed and even lost a few family members… Not to mention, your company (this Hotel) agreed to let me come at a later date (I spoke to someone) when I was better and then last year she was going to book my stay but we kept missing one another and I had to go in for a procedure so it was a few weeks later, but I contacted her and then she says she can no longer accept it. It’s pretty dirty and that’s why I have not stayed at many Hilton properties and I quit using my Hilton credit card. I pretty much quit Hilton all together. .. because I’m a loyal person… but when you do me wrong.. why should I spend my money with a company that does me wrong….?
In the past, my stays were nice and I love the rooms and the property … but that last day everything was horrible, except for the in-room dining, which was perfect… the concierge was so ignorant to her own property. She sent me to a restaurant on property that had been closed over an hour. The valet brought me multiple cars (after 45 minutes) because they couldn’t figure out which one was mine. They broke my laptop. There were so many negatives… and I get a free night which is not much for all the planning of a trip. Not to mention, who wants to travel for one night so they know they’re going to make more money off of me but then they take it away!
If you screw up and give somebody a free night you shouldn’t put an expiration date on it…,
I am not gonna waste my time and my hard earned money, especially in this day and age when everything is overpriced, to throw my money in the trash for bad service and to a company that is not loyal . I’ve been a Diamond member for years so you made lots of money off of me… but not anymore. I’m letting my status go. I’m not spending my money on a company who doesn’t care for their loyal guest who returns to make them a profit.
More people need to stand up for what is right and then companies wouldn’t abuse us…
SAD!!! because there were times I had a lot of fun…

I had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional service at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando, thanks to Amelia and Matt. From the moment I arrived, Amelia made me feel incredibly welcome with her warm and attentive hospitality. She went above and beyo...
nd to ensure that all my needs were met, offering helpful recommendations and making me feel truly cared for.
Matt, the manager, was also outstanding. His professionalism and attention to detail were evident in every interaction. He checked in regularly to ensure that everything was perfect and handled any requests with efficiency and grace. His leadership was clear in how seamlessly everything ran, and his commitment to providing a top-notch guest experience truly stood out.
Together, Amelia and Matt exemplified what world-class service is all about. Their efforts made my stay unforgettable, and I look forward to returning because of the amazing care they provided.

It's the Waldorf and easily attains the 5 star threshold. Even more. The only drawback is the lack of grab and go, or ability to grab those small items without ordering from a restaurant or room service. Coffee/breakfast area is excellent, but ...
closes at noon. A new spot opening soon may correct those minor complaints. Overall, my stay was beyond great. Special point: my wife and I charged a lot to the room including room service twice. The bill was not more than any other Hilton property. Nice.

My family recently spent 10 days at here and it was truly a 5-star experience, just as described on their website and what you would expect from a Waldorf Astoria property. Everything about our stay was exceptional, including the Christmas them...
es!
The hotel exceeded expectations in nearly every way. Our suite was beautiful and very modern and clean. The restaurants offered delicious meals, from fine dining to Asian fusion, and the Breakfast Buffet was absolutely fantastic—plenty of variety and top-notch quality (I really enjoyed the omelettes and the scones). The pools and recreation areas were wonderful, featuring hammocks, cabanas, a hot tub, and outdoor games that made it easy to unwind. The lush golf greens added to the luxury feel, even though I didn’t have time to golf, thanks to Disneyland. The gym was well-equipped and a pleasure to use. We didn’t get to enjoy the spa (though we really wanted to!) because our Disney visits kept us busy, but it’s something to look forward to on a future trip.
As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I had expected a few more perks during our stay. However, I am grateful for all the extras provided and the incredibly nice staff, who went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Fantastic Hotel!

From the moment we checked in, the service at Waldorf Astoria was impeccable. Brad at the front desk welcomed us with professionalism and efficiency, handling every detail of our check-in flawlessly. His expertise made the process seamless and ...
set the tone for our stay.
Frank, the bellman, was equally impressive, greeting us with a warm smile as he assisted with our luggage and escorted us to our room. His friendly demeanor made us feel at home immediately.
During our stay, we explored the hotel’s dining options and had an unforgettable experience at the Aquamarine restaurant. Tyler recommended the Nachos Tuna, which turned out to be an incredible choice. The flavors were delightful, and it became a highlight of our dining experience.
The following day, Jean at the front desk went above and beyond by helping us book a reservation at the steakhouse within the hotel. This level of personalized service made our stay even more special.
Breakfast each morning was fantastic, with a variety of delicious options that left us energized for the day. The entire team, from the front desk to housekeeping, food and beverage, bell services, and valet, contributed to an exceptional experience.
The hotel itself is stunning, but it’s truly the team’s dedication to service that makes it stand out. We look forward to returning to Waldorf Astoria for another unforgettable stay.

I recently stayed at the Waldorf and was very happy with my stay. Rose from the VIP department made my stay awesome with a nice welcome gift. It is the little things that make a stay special, and she did exactly that going above and beyond! ...
My upgraded room was very nice, and the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in. The bathroom amenities were also quite nice. I enjoyed the food at Peacock Alley, and the breakfast buffet at Oscars was great, albeit pricey!

This is almost a 5-star hotel but there were things which in my opinion takes off a couple of stars. For starters, the hotel is really clean, and the housekeeping staff and the support staff are great! The location is also a plus and overall, a...
good stay.
The negatives for me were that the Spa Concierge never got back to us about reserving the requested day for Spa service and when we arrived, never bothered to ask for this. The plan was to spend half the day there for a celebration, but no one contacted me to follow up. Next, the temperatures were chilly and for 3 days we had to call room service as the heat (day and evenings) did not warm up the room in spite of the setting reading "76". It was very uncomfortable although at night it wasn't cold. They came to the room a few times, but it was very chilly and was forced to lounge in a jacket until night. Next, they had holiday parties which made parking very hard this past Saturday and my recommendation would be to allow the paying guest priority in the parking garage. Finally, I'd never rate a hotel that allows "pets" a 5 star as I believe a hotel is no place for animals and I love dogs. Would like to close again that it is a very clean hotel, and that housekeeping staff deserves 5 stars. Would I return? Yes, I would but based on my previous stay and the events mentioned, 3 stars is the best I can give it.

re the main reasons I didn't give a one-star rating. However, despite being in such a prestigious place and giving it multiple second chances, I felt compelled to share my experience during the 48 hours we were there.
Upon checking in, we were initially given a room that belonged to someone else, which the staff quickly apologized for and rectified. While relaxing by the pool, we found a hair in one of our drinks, but again, the staff promptly apologized and made up for it. Unfortunately, certain sections of the poolside had an unpleasant smell of urine, likely due to the presence of dogs. While I generally have no issue with dogs, the smell by the pool was off-putting.
The final straw came when the valet returned our rented BMW convertible with deep scratches. Fortunately, it was insured, but the incident was a significant disappointment. And you really can't rectify that one. I am currently still dealing with rental company.
