Wavelength played at our July 2016 wedding and they did an amazing job!
Johnna is absolutely lovely to work with; when I first contacted her and we chatted about the band, I felt she was as excited for the wedding as we were! During the entir...e process, she was always there to answer questions, keep us on track, and provide any sort of support we needed. About four months before our wedding, she sat down with us to go over logistics, song choices, and general plans to make sure we were on the right track. Initially, we only booked them for the reception, but later we decided to add on for the ceremony and add an additional hour. Adding on the additional times was not a problem and Johnna made it very easy. During the whole process, I truly felt Johnna wanted our wedding to be special.
The night of the wedding, the band did an amazing job. They can play a variety of songs both traditional and current. For the ceremony, they played Adele, "Make You Feel my Love" and Christina Perri, "A Thousand Years," on the piano, as well as "Pachebel's Canon in D" and "Trumpet Voluntary."
At the reception, they had everyone up on the dance floor from beginning to end! Everyone was dancing, enjoying a mixture of current and older songs. At the end of the night, everyone was still on the dance floor having a great time. They played "Wagon Wheel" for us as the final song, after everyone was chanting "one more song," and there could not have been a more perfect end to the night. Since the wedding, numerous guests have told us how much they loved the band and how great they thought Wavelength was.
I highly recommend Wavelength- they are a fantastic band and group of people. Thank you, Wavelength, for helping to make our night so special! We will always cherish the memories.
