When we started planning our Indian two-day wedding celebration, we knew we needed someone special — someone who would not just organize the events but truly understand the meaning behind them. Martine does everything you expect from a wedding planner with aplomb. She handles all the aspects of the wedding planning process with confidence and skill. Her experience has given her an amazing depth and breadth of knowledge, resources, and tools that allowed us to capture the impossible wedding in our heads and turn it into an actual, incredible event.
Martine kept us organized and on top of every important deadline, challenges that are typically very difficult for both halves of this married couple. Despite our best efforts to exhaust ourselves by making an ambitious, personal wedding, Martine made the process feel totally manageable. She knows the wedding industry inside and out, and what she doesn’t know she is quick to learn. She is familiar with every type of vendor that we needed to consider, and her recommendations were spot on. We had so many specific demands for our wedding, from kosher, vegetarian catering to wanting custom crossword puzzles on the tables, and Martine handled them all like the pro she is.
Beyond the practicalities, Martine is a wonderful person and a kind, supportive teammate. She is so generous with her time and effort, she’s an exceptional listener, and her ability to take in totally conflicting demands and find ways to make everyone feel satisfied is truly a gift. Whatever “it” is, Martine gets it, and that makes her the perfect person to have on your side.

Martine was kind, detailed, and an alert wedding planner. We tasked Martine with two weddings, multiple personalities, and many expectations in the short span of about ten months. While me and my husband were excited to get married, we did not pay attention deadlines and timing. For people who tend to be in the clouds like us, Martine's expertise and patience were much needed. Of course, not everything went to plan, but that was no fault of Martine's and really the reality of planning multiple large events in a short span of time. During the process she really advocated for what we wanted and reminded us that it was our wedding, especially at times when our family tried to take over. She handled all bumps in the road with grace and ultimately produced what some of our guests called "The Event of the Summer." We were married July 29th & 31st, 2022.
Martine was an EXCEPTIONAL wedding planner for us. She was patient, caring, direct, and warm. She helped us find all of our other vendors, helped keep our parties in line, and helped make the day special. We are glad to have told other friends about Martine and can't recommend her enough!
My wedding was on May 20th, 2023 in NJ and working with Martine cannot honestly be summed up in a few words since we were on a 2-year journey having her as our Full Service Wedding Planner, but I'm gonna try! My day was magical and matched our expectations, big part to Wedding MD and her team. From the consultation, to assessing the budget, spanning across the selection of her trusted vendor reccs -- Martine made that process fairly seamless. Even when she had to accrue more vendors to fit our tastes, Martine accepted the challenges with grace. She stayed honest when weighing pros and cons of intended plans for the wedding day, even if that meant playing devils advocate just so there wouldn't be too many surprises on the day. Martine is big on advocating for her clients when there may be foul play involved, which is a huge plus. As for availability, Martine would remain responsive throughout the process, especially as time grew closer to the big day. Of course there a few real-life hiccups on the actual day of events like truncated photo time if not doing a first look, as she also pre-warned, but when it was all said and done, our non-negotiables were managed with care, our guests had a great time, everyone got home safe and the day was the best day of our lives.
Things would like to be considered for your future clients:
1. Depending on the various moving parts of the wedding, an additional coordinator/assistant would be beneficial that is set to stay after the pre-wedding coordination. With it having only been Martine and one assistant, who was not familiar with my family tree, there were moments i was searching for members of the wedding party who had left and I was not made aware. One of them being my Father.
2. Another note, if adding an additional assistant to the team, let it be someone who is skilled in bustling dresses or can specifically learn how to as I happened to have 5 women (two being my Bridesmaids who examined how to prior to but on the day it still seemed confusing, 1 being the assistant) who were not aware on how to bustle my dress in my suite, which ultimately made me anxious and delayed my reception by 30-mins.
3. (For intended outdoor ceremonies/receptions): Suggest and take advantage of doing a wedding rehearsal in the alternate space just to learn the layout in case the weather changes your plans. We knew there was an 80% chance that our ceremony would be changed from outdoors to indoors, which prompted us wanting to run another rehearsal in that space. In wanting to remain optimistic, Martine advised it wasn't necessary and to keep the faith. In the end, not having the rehearsal didn't allow us the opportunity to gauge the spacing and change of walking down the aisle. I had also prepared for the videographer and photographer to be positioned in other places so the angling of some of our photos were awkward, due to spacing. If we were to have known where a photographer would be stationed we would've reworked angling.
4. Continue to grow more NJ-based Vendor clientele if marketing to more NJ couples, as their quotes are reflective of the locale. Some vendors took longer to lock down because the initial selections were NY/CT based and not leveled to account for where we were based.
Overall we're forever grateful for her love for the craft, professionalism and positive attitude consistent throughout. If you choose to hire Martine, you're on track to having a wonderful day.
We worked with Martine and her team for our wedding on November 16th 2023 and it was one of the best decisions we made during planning. We booked her coordination services and from the time we signed on we had monthly check in meetings. She is highly organized and has a number of really great tools available. I, the bride, have an anxiety disorder and she was so understanding and supportive throughout the process. Our conversations and connects were basically stress free, like talking to an old friend who just so happens to be great with weddings. On the day of Jasmine, Kesher and her were all lovely. We put a lot of thought and detail into the planning, and they did such a great job orchestrating things to the image we had aimed for. They took care of all of the logistics seamlessly and we were able to fully lean in and enjoy the day. My only regret is not signing with her earlier in the planning so we could have used more of her resources for the whole process.

I hired Martine about 7-8 months to my wedding date and she was communicating and setting meetings with me from then. I was surprised how organized and involved she was months out from the wedding day.
She helped me with recommendations, and she was honest about things that were necessary. If you aren’t sure if you need a day of coordinator trust me you need one! Our venue provided us with one but they are really their to make sure all things go well for the venue.
From start to finish, our wedding coordinator and her team were a true blessing. Their helpfulness and attention to detail made every step of the journey effortless. We couldn't have asked for a more dedicated and skilled team to ensure our special day was nothing short of magical.

Martine was a lifesaver when it came to planning our wedding! We were only 6-8 months away from the date we were hoping for, but we couldn't find a venue that quite worked with our small size (40 to 60 people). I decided to hire Martine as my wedding coordinator two months before my wedding day. I was on the fence about hiring a coordinator because I thought I had everything under control - haha. I am so thankful to have had her help in executing such a wonderful wedding. My initial wedding date was supposed to be 4/25/2020, for which I had no wedding planner. Let’s just say one good thing came out of postponing - Martine! What was I thinking when I thought I could handle coordinating everything all on my own! From the start, Martine was timely, professional, and warm. She’s funny and gives really great advice. She created a precise and thorough timeline for me and communicated with all my vendors so that they knew when and where to be. Her help coordinating the vendors was critical, since there were so many moving parts to keep straight (i.e. event space, catering, alcohol and rentals, florist, DJ, cocktail band, cake, hair, makeup, photographer, videographer). Martine clearly has experience working with a number of parties at once and taking charge in a way that is positive and helpful! On our rehearsal night, Martine made sure to organize my family and made us all feel comfortable and sure of what had to be done! On the wedding day, she reminded me to stay off my phone and not worry about planning, kept the bridal party in check, took care of anything I needed and helped with set-up of the ceremony and the reception. At the reception, Martine and her assistant, Jasmine, handled set-up of my signage, welcome table, guestbook, and answering vendor and guest questions. She also helped me bustle my dress, which had many buttons due to a very long train. There was something very liberating about pointing to Martine whenever someone came to me with a wish or question, so that I could focus on having a great time with my new husband and my family. I knew I was in good hands because every interaction I had had with Martine throughout the process was thorough, focused, and joyful! Her assistant, Jasmine, also has a very warm demeanor, which helped me feel comfortable asking her questions, even though we hadn’t met before. After the wedding, Martine sent a really beautiful gift to my husband and me, which is just another testament to Martine’s love for her work and the people she helps! I was worried a vendor wouldn't show up - and she created a plan in case that were to happen that made me happy with the outcome. I was worried about the timeline - she was ready to hop on a call to discuss it and why it works. I can come to her anytime I have a problem about the event and she is so welcoming and encouraging that everything will be alright. She's an absolute angel. Every event needs a really great planner and Martine is the ONE.

I would not be doing her justice if I failed to mention the wedding that she took the reins in organizing in TEN DAYS, comprised solely of volunteers donating their services. This wedding was for a woman with terminal cancer, with only a few short months to live. Instead of just having a bare-bones wedding for the sake of her four-year-old daughter, a group of vendors stepped in and said no. You're having an actual wedding. We're doing this right. She corralled this group of vendors to make it happen, complete with a florist, photographer, DJ, videographer, ceremony officiant, and herself as the planner. Tight timelines? Check. But she’s ALSO a pretty good egg!

Martine coordinated what turned out to be the best and what will be the most memorable day of my life. After receiving an unexpected terminal cancer diagnosis, my (now) husband and I wanted to get married and have a wedding as soon as possible. Most wedding coordinators would panic at the notion of having less than two weeks to organize an entire wedding, but Martine did not waver at the thought - she took the challenge with authority and stride.
Barely two weeks later, Martine manifested our wedding and gave us an unforgettable day in which our families and friends came together to celebrate life and love.
Martine was not unnerved by the time pressure - she prioritized, ensured every communication addressed the most pressing items and to us, always appeared cool, calm and collected despite the time and logistic challenges we posed.

Every detail was thought out, and the food was superb. I think the sign of a good planner is that I didn't even know all of the work doing on behind the scenes because everything was just done. The best part for me was Martine's infectious laugh. She is so full of joy and I felt she was genuinely excited to be a part of it all! You couldn't ask for a better person to plan your event.

So, getting engaged was a very exciting moment until we realized how overwhelming the whole process could be. From our first conversation Martine was calm and helped my fiance and me figure out exactly what we wanted, despite everyone else's opinions. From the wedding venue, flowers, to my dress she's been there every step of the way. Not only is she indispensable, but she also reads the contracts BEFORE we signed anything.
