Other reviews have mentioned many of these issues, so they’re clearly recurring themes. I’ll start with the good: Janice came through on our wedding day, and there were no hitches. That was a huge relief, given the months of stress and worry caused by her shortcomings. Now, onto the bad… **Unhelpful:** Janice added little value during the planning phase. We planned every detail ourselves but had to relay those plans during calls—only to repeat them when she forgot. For example, when we asked for advice on string lights, like where outlets were or if extension cords were needed, her response was, “Vendors usually do that.” …which isn’t very helpful. Similarly, when we asked about venue-provided speakers, she said, “I dunno, the DJ usually does that.” But we didn’t have a DJ! We hired her to help us through these details, not defer them. Her planning materials were equally unhelpful. Her budget spreadsheet was poorly formatted and riddled with errors. On Zoom calls, we watched as she input numbers incorrectly. We ended up making our own budget and planning sheets because her tools were unusable. **Slow:** Janice was quite slow to respond to message, but even worse was procrastinating important tasks. For instance, she said she’d reserve a rehearsal time with the venue, but after asking five times, we still had no confirmation. Her excuse was that they hadn’t responded. We finally called the venue ourselves and booked it in two minutes. If we hadn’t taken the initiative, we would’ve lost another month of planning. The worst delay, however, was with a contract we requested through Petals & Promises. It took her six months to send it. An entire half-year! **Unprofessional:** One very alarming issue was when she shared another client’s personal information during a call. She displayed their names, venue, wedding date, phone number, schedule, and other PII. This privacy breach made us question whether our information was secure with her. Another issue that caused us stress two weeks before our wedding was when Janice casually informed us her team couldn’t set up our chairs, despite having known the details for six months. With no backup plan, she said she’d call other vendors, which would cost $1,000–$2,000—if she could even find someone. At this point, we had no trust in her ability to deliver and spent hours sourcing quotes ourselves. This last-minute problem caused enormous stress right before our wedding. **Summary:** While Janice was fine for day-of coordination, the lead-up to our wedding was riddled with issues that she caused or failed to resolve. A wedding planner should alleviate stress, not add to it, especially when charging thousands of dollars. While our wedding day was amazing, it was despite her planning efforts—not because of them.

My husband and I got married in July 2024. We hired Janice as our wedding rehearsal and day-of coordinator and she was great!! Initially, we thought the day-of coordination (silver package) was enough but after chatting during our first consultation, she made us realize the gold package would better assist our situation because of the assistance it includes with the rehearsal and tidying up and finalizing vendor details/communication. Looking back, if we did not select the package with those additional services, it would have been way more stressful and complicated. I'm so glad Janice took care of it! She was very mindful of our budget and was transparent with us. If there were any small details for vendor invoices, she asked us if we still wanted it and made note of how much we would be spending/saving if we had/didn't have it. An example of this was when I initially requested the linens vendor to have cocktail table covers that were floor-length. She later saw the invoice and asked us if we still wanted them because the cocktail hour would go by super quickly and no one would really notice it, and that we would be saving $300+ that could go to drinks instead. I appreciated that she brought up small details like that to our attention to make us double-check things in case we changed our minds. Looking back, she was right about the cocktail hour. It went by fast and everyone still had a great time! Janice did a great job in helping us space out, schedule, and remind us of our check-ins with her. She was super cool, patient, and understanding when there were reschedules or if we still needed more time to figure out some details. Before each check-in, I'd be a little nervous but during and after, I'd be relieved. She never showed any kind of bad attitude and always remained friendly and calm which allowed us to do the same and enjoy the planning process. She responded to texts and calls right away which we appreciated a lot. She also communicated with our wedding venue events coordinator which was super helpful. We also appreciated that Janice understood Filipino culture and family/friend dynamics. She explained the different Filipino cultural ceremonies and the types of roles that relatives can have and made sure we knew our options. She also gave real and relatable advice while we worked on our guest list/seating which was very helpful. The rehearsal went by smoothly. I really appreciated that she was very detailed. She explained which hand goes where, where to stop, how long to pause, which way to turn, walk slower, etc. To some, it might be a pain or unnecessary, but I'm a detail-oriented person so these kinds of pointers were perfect for me! On the day of the wedding, there was some decor that I forgot to label and describe how I wanted them (check-in table and arch drapes/flowers), and so on the day-of, I only briefly described to her how I wanted it and also showed a photo I quickly found online (LOL). I was a little worried that it wasn't going to turn out the way I envisioned it but when she managed to put everything together really well, better than I even envisioned! Later in the day I asked her how we were doing on time because I was worried we were off schedule but she said we're good and that she always adds in buffer time to everything which was a relief! Where do I start!!! Janice is a Godsend. It felt like I was working with family to plan my wedding in Hawaii, all the way from Canada. She really cares for her clients - her millions of clients hehe. She is a busy woman and is going a mile a minute but whenever I ask her a question or need advice, I get an answer. I loved that she is a straight shooter. If I was mulling over a few options, she’d run through the pros and cons and allowed me to arrive at an informed decision. If you’re looking for a coordinator, Janice Bachiller/ WeddingPlanner808 is the way to go. I went with the basic/tier 1 package but you wouldn’t know it because of Janice’s top notch service and counsel. I felt like our consultations really calmed my nerves and set us up for success. Janice’s questions/prompts/checklists helped me organize my thoughts and create a game plan. It also guided my vision to be more thorough and detailed. We had a venue change 4 months to the wedding day and she rolled with the punches! I also loved that anyone I encountered through the planning process spoke highly of her. Most of our vendors were recommended by Janice and she did not MISS!! As an ensemble, from our officiant to rentals to our DJ, they made the night perfect. Aside from stellar service, everyone had such a GREAT vibe and that to me was huge because it really added to the energy of our wedding as a whole. If you're shopping for a wedding planner/coordinator Janice is an absolute must-have!! We got married on February 12, 2024, and not a single day goes by without being in awe of how perfect everything was! Since my first phone call with Janice, I knew she was the one! She asked me where my venue was and was already giving me tips and quoted something from our contract with the venue. I was amazed at how much she knew! I immediately called my husband and told him & he agreed that she'd be the one! Truthfully, our best investment for our wedding was hiring Janice and her team! !!Attention Destination/Budget Wedding Brides!! We hired Janice as our reception day of coordinator and we do not regret it. I was planning our wedding all the way from Florida and I'm glad we trusted her and her team to take care of us on our special day. She helped out beyond just planning our reception. She also gave us tips and advice for our ceremony too, which a different company was handling. I left her instructions and all the decor and she not only set it up like I wanted but she also put her own spin to it which l actually loved more than my idea. After our reception, her team was very quick to tear down and pack away decor and other miscellaneous items that we were taking home. The prices for her services are also more affordable compared to other vendors on the island. 11/10 recommend!

We went through several wedding planners before choosing Janice as the right one and we glad we did. With her experience we knew we were in good hands. She asked us what is the most important thing you want from your wedding? "I just want to be in the moment: no stress, no worries and eat! Just be in the moment!" Janice and her team did exactly what I wanted. What I love about what she offers, she can cater to everyone needs from full blown planning, partial planning, and day of coordinated. We went with partial since we already picked out our venue and most of our vendors. I had no direction or really guide on how to plan the wedding (I never thought I would have a wedding) and so with Janice direction it gave me piece of mind and little things I never thought I needed to know... The day of our wedding her and her team kept everything running smoothly. I did not have to think, I just follow.. Oh and you know how people say that don't really eat at their wedding.. Janice’s work as a ‘day of’ coordinator was amazing. Initially, we were planning to not use a coordinator. Even with a lot of planning, checklists, etc. we realized that might not be a good idea. We are glad we found Janice and booked her services. After booking and meeting with Janice, we found that she would cover a number of things that we missed or didn’t even think about. We met with Janice a few times throughout the planning process. She was very meticulous with the details, vendor contacts/contracts, etc. She communicated with the vendors to confirm details and final scheduling. We did have trouble finding a few vendors. Even though it was not part of our contract, Janice went out of her way to find service providers for us. She also met us in person on the day before the event to do a final schedule review and to walk through the venue. On the day of the event, Janice worked hard (and a very long day) to make sure everything went smoothly. We had all the confidence in the world in her. And we were able to completely relax and enjoy the day. The success of our biggest day was in no small part thanks directly to Janice.

My Husband and I got Married on 8/4/2022. We did extensive research and interviews but at the end of the process we knew Janice was the wedding planner for us. She's very knowledgeable on all things weddings and she made sure no stone was left unturned. We were very nervous planning a wedding from the mainland but Janice help to calm our nerves. She told us when the proposal prices were too high and when rates were good. She kept us on schedule and truly made sure we had the wedding of our dreams. My husband and I were looking for a day of wedding coordinator. Janice's day-of coordination service was amazing! Janice is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, organized, well connected to other local vendors, and experienced in planning and executing. Janice met with my husband and I to go over the theme and our vision for the wedding. When we didn't know which vendors to pick, Janice recommended vendors who would be good fits. Janice and her team are also flexible and work with us! About 3-4 months before the wedding day, our original venue cancelled on us and we had to change our venue! We secured a new venue but had to change the date of the wedding. Through this stressful period, Janice was responsive and was able to work with us through the changes. As the wedding day grew closer, Janice reached out to make sure we completed all the meetings we needed to confirm the timeline and all other items. Her initiative was much appreciated during that busy time. On the wedding day, we had Dasia, Shanon, and Jane executing the wedding. They were so wonderful and on top of things! They arrived at the venue before the wedding party did and received our flower delivery. When the wedding party was taking photos, Shanon was actively helping with fixing the wedding dress. They made sure things were moving smoothly and we were sticking to the timeline. If anything went wrong on the wedding day, we didn't know about it, so Dasia, Shanon, and Jane must have taken care of it! The wedding day was long and could've been stressful, but Janice, Dasia, Shanon, and Jane were excellent in taking care of the details and executing the wedding with our vision in mind. The wedding day was as we imagined! Our wedding guests were also very impressed by their service and only had great things to say! My husband and I highly recommend Wedding Planner 808!!!

We had Janice to help out coordinating our wedding day. We were told numerous times that we don’t need a day of coordinator. Well I’m sorry they’re wrong lol Every meeting we had she made sure we did our homework, she told us things we didn’t know we needed for our wedding day! Deciding to hire Janice as a partial wedding planner was one of the best decisions for my wedding! I live on the island and figured it would be easy enough to plan it all on my own and just hire a day-of coordinator but after having the initial consultation and seeing the different package options, I knew I had to hire her. Janice gave helpful suggestions and advice when it came to my wedding including all the small little details. She was always pretty quick to respond to my text messages whenever I had questions in between our meetings. She never made me feel bad about any of my decisions but she did let me know if there was any potential issues that may occur. Janice was absolutely amazing! We had gotten engaged at the end of 2019, then the pandemic hit. We were tired of waiting and had no clue what we were doing and relied on advice from friends and family. Just over a month from my wedding, we started finalizing everything and thought we were doing well. We knew we needed a Day of Coordinator since we didn't want to put all the stress on family or friends, and luckily my cousins referred me to Janice. We started chatting 5-weeks from the big day and WOW there were so many details I never would have thought of if not for Janice. She is so organized, detailed, and is a great resource for recommendations and suggestions. Most of the wedding was DIY so I would show Janice general things I wanted and how they should be. She did an amazing job setting everything up on the day, my ceremony and reception were perfect. I am so happy I trusted her with the decorations and placements, she truly made our day stress free! I had a very clear vision for my dream wedding. Grand, elegant, romantic, and unforgettable. Janice of Wedding Planner 808 was THE coordinator to help bring all the puzzle pieces together perfectly! Every step of the way, from my general ideas down to the smallest of details, Janice made sure everything was executed perfectly! I wanted our family and friends to simply be present and enjoy the day. She made sure that everything was in order and in place, on time at every step of the way. My fiance proposed in February of 2020, and because of Covid we postponed our 2020 wedding to '21, then again to 2022. She stayed the course with us and it was all worth the wait. Beyond being extremely professional, she is a wonderful human, and having that kind of loving, positive energy around our wedding was awesome! Some details were in place 2 years in advance...and others, as any bride will tell you, just don't get executed until the last minute. The night before our wedding I had realized I didn't have name cards for my assigned seating. She gave me a phone number, a short conversation was had, and 16 hours later there were 220 gorgeous hand-written name cards in place at our reception! Janice has a solution for every situation. She is incredibly organized. We had a large wedding with dozens of vendors and she triple-checked every contract, stayed in communication with each vendor, and made sure everyone had to correct timeline for a smooth flow. I did not get any questions from a single vendor on the day of. Isn't that fantastic?! I got to fully enjoy marrying the love of my life. 100% recommend Janice!!

Thanks to COVID 19, we were one of the 2020 couples who had to postponed multiple times, ended up eloping, and then prayed really hard to have a wedding reception in 2022. We decided to hire a day of coordinator because there was no way we could handle the amount of stress with all the changes and didn’t want to appoint a family member to be in charge of the reception. From the beginning to end Janice was professional and was so easy to work with. She made sure everything was taken care through out the process. Janice knows her stuff and her attention to details/ perfection is amazing! I highly recommend Janice if you’re looking for a coordinator. We had no stress on the day of the reception and everything was absolutely perfect!

We were aware of Janice’s work for quite some time! We knew we had to get her because of the experiences we’ve had when she helped plan my sister and friend’s wedding. We knew we had to book her right away! During COVID it was a stressful time of planning. We are super grateful for her patience, resilience and persistent communication with us and our vendors. She also, recommended some vendors that helped fit with our budget! Planning this wedding was very difficult during COVID because many of the vendors we contacted were backed up on emails and it was just hard to get a hold of someone. Janice did a great job in following up with our vendors and updating us, ensuring that everything fell in place for our wedding. Some things we wanted to share that really made us appreciate Janice and her work was that two weeks before the wedding, restrictions got tighter. We needed to submit mitigation plan and have that approved in order for our wedding to happen. Of course as any couple would, we panicked. As we contacted Janice about the situation, she reassured us that she already got a plan submitted and it was waiting for approval. How awesome was that?! Another thing that really topped it off was that there were a lot of minimums payments that some companies wanted. We were really bummed when she told us that this one vendor couldn’t let us rent an altar because they wanted us to spend a minimum payment. Janice, however, knew someone who could customize the altar that we wanted. It was a short notice but our altar looked amazing and it was what we both imagined it to be. Janice is on it with everything and very knowledgeable because she has been in the wedding industry for a while now. We trusted her judgment and recommendation when we were planning. She was easy to work with and we both felt like we were planning along side with a friend. While planning, we knew that there were little things required from us for her, which was no problem. Overall, she was the one that executed the wedding we wanted! We appreciate what she has done for us during the planning and the day of our wedding! We highly recommend Janice, Wedding Planner 808!

Janice was such an amazing wedding planner to work with! Wedding planning is already stressful as it is, but having to plan through the COVID-19 pandemic was even crazier! Janice was there through it all! From the postponement, virtual meetings, late night email and texts, last minute reviews. etc. She guided us in every step and gave us really great advice. Janice is very detailed, hardworking, and professional. She really gets to know you as a Bride & Groom, and doesn't only treat you like a client but treats you like a family. On our wedding day, Janice was also our day of coordination. She communicated with our families, vendors and wedding party of our wedding timeline and was available for answers for any questions regarding the timeline. She really made things happen! On our wedding day, we were in awe of our beautiful wedding details and experience after planning our Hawaii wedding from the mainland for more than a year. Up to this day, all of our wedding guests who came from all over the world to O'ahu kept telling us that our Hawaii (O'ahu) wedding was the most magical and best wedding that they've ever attended and experienced! We give the major props to Janice (Wedding Planner 808)! Without her help and guidance, our beautiful Hawaii wedding wouldn't have been possible! Janice is an amazing wedding coordinator! My husband & I live in San Diego, CA and when we decided to get married on Oahu it sounded like a perfect idea until I had to start planning our wedding. I honestly had no clue where to start. When we asked Janice to be our day of coordinator she provided me with multiple lists we needed to get done & even provided us with vendor suggestions which helped a lot. Janice was there for me when ever I had any questions throughout the planning. There was no doubt in our minds that hiring Janice as our Day of coordinator was the best decision we made during the process of planning our wedding. A huge weight was lifted off of my shoulders (bride) the first time we sat with Janice and went over what we wanted with a day of coordinator. She was so detailed and kept us on track with everything we needed to get done, down to packing our clothes for the hotel. Janice's day of the wedding timeline kept everything running smooth and stress free for everyone, even one of our bridesmaid said that the wedding day was so stress free compared to other weddings she had previously been a part of. She always answered our text and phone calls and also always checked and confirmed with us about any changes. With all the wedding day jitters and mixed emotions you'll need someone like Janice to make you feel at ease that everything is taken care of. Her value far exceeds the amount you spend for her services.

We hired Janice as our day-of coordinator for our wedding, and we are so glad that we did! We wanted to plan as much of the wedding ourselves, as we wanted our wedding to be a reflection of who we are as a couple. However, this was the first time either my husband or I had ever planned an event of this size on our own, so we knew we needed help. Each consultation we had with Janice leading up to the day was EXTREMELY productive. We went through every little detail, and she even brought up points we hadn't even considered. It was very easy working with her, as she was very responsive throughout the entire process. Fast forward to a few weeks before the wedding, where various last minute changes were being made (and I was freaking out a little bit), but Janice remained extremely accommodating. She made all my requests seem like no problem, which eased my nerves greatly. Any request we had, she incorporated. When the day finally came, everything flowed so smoothly, and neither myself nor my husband had to worry! All I had to worry about was having the time of my life. I highly recommend Janice, she was awesome to work with!! As soon as I contacted her she quickly set up a consultation for me and laid out several different wedding planning packages I could choose from. She was very accessible to communicate with through phone or email anytime. We had three planning meetings before the wedding which were extremely helpful to work out all of the details, of which there were many! And the best part: I got to completely enjoy my wedding reception!! She was on the ball making sure everything was beautiful, directing all the vendors, and taking care of any and all issues that arose! We had an awesome stress-free wedding day thanks to Janice!!

We just got married in Dec 2018 in Kaneohe. We worked with Janice since March 2018. She took care of our itinerary when we visited Hawaii in March (food tastings, venues, etc.). She was very helpful and knowledgeable. She gave us info, tips and recommendations that we could not have gotten from anyone else. Her calm, sweet voice was always reassuring. She made our planning and wedding itself smooth and stress-free. We highly recommend Janice if you are getting married in Oahu!

Janice eas awesome during the wedding planning. She may on be my day of coordinator, but she was there from the time we hired her. Being a destination wedding, it was difficult to find the things I needed, but Janice was there to guide me. I could've of dine this whole thing by myself. The day of the wedding, Annie, her assitant was the best while the ceremony was about to take place. The whole whole Wedding Planner 808 has made my day so stress free. I admit, i was still texting them while I was getting ready. If anyone does a destination wedding or even local to Hawaii, hire Wedding Planner 808.

Otherwise, if the main point of me hiring her was to not stress on my wedding day, then mission accomplished. As for the months preceding that day, though, that might be a completely different story. Would I recommend hiring Janice for your future wedding planning? Yes most definitely as long as you’re sure that you’ve got a good grasp of what’s done and needs to be done and are good at tracking changes. You really can’t beat her price but just know and remember that you aren’t her only bride that she’s working with. I know that I can’t be the easiest person to deal with and my bar of standards were set super high for her from the beginning, but considering everything that she’s gone through personally and still tried to maintain professionally, I’d say that I could see a sincere effort from her that she tried her best with what she could and as much as she could handle.

4.2 Janice was great to work with. She gave us a lot of suggestions for vendors which we did use all of who she suggested and it did save us a lot of money as well. She did respond at a timely manner when I texted her. Sometimes when you email her you have to follow-up with a text to make sure she got it and that you'll get the response especially if you need one right away. Other than that, she did give great suggestions as far as design for the wedding and the program. She did my wedding and another wedding on the same day which I did wish she didnt so that she could give my event the attention that it needed. But other than that, I would definitely recommened her to others who are looking for the help.

Janice is great at what she does! We did a destination wedding and were a bit worried with regards to organizing and choosing our vendors but Janice made the process as painless as possible. Going into the final stretch before the wedding (last month or so), Janice really starts to bring everything together and will bring your attention to details you never considered.

Janice was amazing from the beginning of planning my wedding until the day of. My wedding was a destination wedding and I had so many concerns but Janice reassured me that everything was going to turn out perfect and it did. She was there from the very beginning where we planned everything and had three meetings until the day of wedding day coordination. She had thought of things that I did not even think about. Not only was my wedding day perfect I had guests at my wedding saying how crazy it was that everything went so perfect and that usually there are a few things that go wrong. But we had NOTHING go wrong and at the end of the night Janice and her team had packed up my stuff such as decor in the boxes I had shipped them out in and taped and labeled each box. I was beyond impressed and so thankful for her! I am so thankful to Janice and her team for my PERFECT wedding.

We initially chose Wedding Planner 808 as our wedding coordinator since were living outside the US. We needed to rely heavily on a coordinator and hence we purchased the platinum package. As we started to work together, we soon realized we were ultimately on different wavelengths and decided to part ways, forfeiting our $720 deposit. My fiancee and I concluded that Janice may be a good fit for a couple who’s priority is a budget wedding. Unfortunately, she was unable to balance between elegance and cost. Additional concerns we had with the service were: 1) No thematic input or design provided as per the platinum package. Helpful leading questions were asked, but no suggestions given. We wished she had provided more suggestions and follow through than she did. 2) Disorganized emails, with extremely slow email responses. While she did respond to our e-mails, the response times sometimes took up to 10 days. (Emails were not replied on the same thread, subject titles had nothing to do with what was being asked, and responses were a little too verbiose without providing enough substance) 3) Lack of attention to detail: The same questions would be asked repeatedly, indicating my responses were not being captured. Janice forgot on multiple occasions the mothers on both the bride and groom side has passed away. Already a painful subject, Janice did not include an order for a memorial table to the rental company despite discussions of how the table should look. This was especially hurtful to both of us. 4) No hustle: In 3 months of working together, only 1 draft of the budget was ever sent. Despite repeated requests for updates, information from vendors were not updated in and it would take weeks to get responses back for clarifying questions. I ended up having to reach out to all the vendors myself for specifics. In the end, we politely requested a partial return of our deposit due to our dissatisfaction with the services. We had provided constructive feedback early on as well as multiple opportunities to improve. Instead of coming to a mutual agreement, she stopped responding to our emails while continuing to send me invoices for additional payments after we decided to part ways. Janice is a nice lady and we do hope she can take the above as constructive criticism and improve from this unfortunate circumstance.

Janice was such an amazing help and comfort throughout my WHOLE planning and wedding day! She’s always available via text, phone or email. I called her a ton of times with date changes; stresses about bridesmaids, family; invitation wording,etc. She always calmed me down by the end of the call and had me breathing again. She coordinated with all my vendors for my magical night, and all her recommend vendors were exactly what I needed. On the day of Janice and her team made my vision come to life. Everything couldn’t have been more perfect. Even with rain (our venue was outdoors at a friends house) , uncooperative children (my 4y0 didn’t nap and my 2yo was sick), and important family arriving late, Janice kept the evening flowing seamlessly. Everyone complimented how “perfect” and personal the wedding was, and most of that was thanks to Janice seeing my vision and making it happen. Thank you Janice, and your team, for making my dream wedding a reality.

My husband and I had a wonderful, relaxed, and tranquil wedding, and we surely have a lot of gratitude for Janice! She was so accommodating, kind, and always quick to meet our needs and desires without hesitation. I found this website to have a wealth of information but my favorite part was the free Personal Wedding Website! We were able to manage or attendance lists, provide valuable information for out of town guests and share fun pictures. Guests were able to easily RSVP right on the site and we were able to import and export the lists as needed.

Janice was referred to me by my friend/ Emcee for my wedding. I needed help because I had no idea what planning a wedding entailed. I was impressed right off the bat because her questions regarding the littlest details about what I wanted for the big day were never things that I thought about before. Her vision to helping brides with stress free planning, organization and time management is something I was looking forward to but unfortunately did not have the best experience. I felt that her knowledge of the wedding industry is something that she harps on and focuses too much on, instead of catering to what I wanted for my wedding. It felt as if it was just another wedding for her to plan and get through. For everything that she said couldn’t be done, she didn’t suggest an alternative route which left me stressed to figure things out on my own. There were things that we discussed that she forgot about that I caught right before I walked down the aisle and had to tell her to fix and during the reception as well. I also rented decoration items for my reception venue which I should have looked at before letting Janice request them because I wanted bistro lights but instead I get to the venue and they are Christmas lights, which by then was too late to switch out. As a bride I feel like these are not things you should be worried about on your wedding day. I don’t discredit her though because she does work hard and it was an amazing wedding nonetheless.

My husband and I planned our destination wedding from Washington, DC without an opportunity to meet any of the vendors. We had 80 guests flying to Hawaii for us, and I had a very specific idea of what I wanted. My wedding turned out exactly as planned and was the most extraordinary day of my life, and I have Janice to thank. Thanks to her organization, detail orientation, and relationships with vendors, Janice made my dream day come true! I trusted her when she recommended vendors, which was a little scary considering I am a very Type A personality. Not only were all of vendors fantastic, but she also knew them personally, so they treated my husband and I like family. I cannot say enough thanks to Janice, and you should definitely hire her to plan your wedding. From start to finish, she is professional, sweet, caring, and kind. She will definitely make your dream wedding a reality!

We brought these folks in later in the process than we should have, but everything they touched was executed flawlessly. Believe me: YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU DO NOT KNOW! Janice made sure the expectations of our guests and vendors were exceeded. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I JUST GOT MARRIED on FEB 17, 2017 at the Royal Hawaiian in Honolulu, Hawaii. It has not even been a week yet but I couldn't wait to leave Janice & her team an awesome review. My brand spankin' new husband actually wants to leave HIS OWN review because he is very, very satisfied! I'm from San Francisco so planning a wedding in Hawaii for about 100 people was going to take a little bit more work, more like a lot of research! My first advice to brides is to first make a separate email for all wedding stuff. Second would be to figure out what you want the most and what you could care less about. Then, find your coordinator, your wedding fairy god mother lol! It's so true! My husband told me at first that we didn't need one because of our line of work. WRONG! I knew we needed one ASAP! We got engaged on November 6, 2015. It was work & travel all year long so we did some venue research but finally booked the venue on November 2016. We visited Oahu one more time between Dec 13-18, 2016. I went to The Wedding Cafe, talked to all sorts of vendors and asked for referrals over the phone, emailed, instagram, fb, yelp! I did all of it! I love it when vendors tag who they worked with for that particular wedding. Makes life easier! When I got back home, I still kept researching, then found Wedding Planner 808! Checked out the website, looked at the detailed list of services and pricing. OMG SHE IS VERY DETAILED! THE WEBSITE GIVES YOU A COMPLETE IDEA OF WHAT YOU WILL GET! HOW MANY PHONE CALL SESSIONS, HOW MANY CONSULTATIONS, THE PRICE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN DIFFERENT SERVICES... I know other coordinators/planners may have an enticing website or other vendors refer their friends to you but their prices may also be too much, over the top, in my opinion! I am so glad I **DID NOT** pay $3500 for a same day coordination. As soon as I got on the phone with Janice, she asked me a million questions (exaggeration) but I LOVED IT!!! She was trying to get to know me, my fiance and what we both wanted!!! I instantly knew that I hit *GOLD*! Instant CONNECTION! Janice's pricing was very reasonable, she was very, very patient, very professional, very detailed, very open to my requests, very flexible and seriously, she did wayyyyyy more than expected. She was a text, phone call or email away! Every Time I emailed her, she emailed back just to acknowledge that she received it all! She was A LIFE SAVER! She even told us that people who get married in Hawaii could be part of **Hawaiian AIrlines Wedding Wings** promotion! 10% off flights for B&G and 15% off flights for guests! NO ONE TOLD US ABOUT THIS! We signed her contract on DEC 28, 2016 and from then on, I knew I was not going to stress. She was there. Everything went smoothly. She and her team MADE MY VISION COME TO LIFE! We did a lot of DIY things for the wedding but I had to trust that she saw my vision because she did not see any of the things we did until the day of! Every detail was accounted for, her team member even came to the bride's suite to see if we needed anything and made sure we were at the church on time. They were even helping clean up! Everything was PERFECT. From the very start to the very end! She would give her tips so that everything would go as planned and guess what? We both super happy that we found her. IF YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED IN OAHU, OR ANYWHERE IN HAWAII...OR ANYWHERE.. REACH OUT TO JANICE aka MARIE! She is the best.

Wedding planner 808 was simply A-mazing!! they were recommended to us by more than one trusted friend and they did not disappoint and, in fact, exceeded all expectations. Janice is knowledge, flexible and experienced. She is very well-respected by all the vendors here. She often could get answers from vendors when our phone calls and/or emails went unanswered. She was responsive, professional and just a lot of fun. She respected our budgetary constraints and often found creative ways to get what we wanted for less. Janice & her team were amazing and helped my husband and I plan our wedding from thousands of miles away.
