the very beginning where we planned everything and had three meetings until the day of wedding day coordination. She had thought of things that I did not even think about. Not only was my wedding day perfect I had guests at my wedding saying how crazy it was that everything went so perfect and that usually there are a few things that go wrong. But we had NOTHING go wrong and at the end of the night Janice and her team had packed up my stuff such as decor in the boxes I had shipped them out in and taped and labeled each box. I was beyond impressed and so thankful for her! I am so thankful to Janice and her team for my PERFECT wedding.

e ultimately on different wavelengths and decided to part ways, forfeiting our $720 deposit. My fiancee and I concluded that Janice may be a good fit for a couple who’s priority is a budget wedding. Unfortunately, she was unable to balance between elegance and cost. Additional concerns we had with the service were: 1) No thematic input or design provided as per the platinum package. Helpful leading questions were asked, but no suggestions given. We wished she had provided more suggestions and follow through than she did. 2) Disorganized emails, with extremely slow email responses. While she did respond to our e-mails, the response times sometimes took up to 10 days. (Emails were not replied on the same thread, subject titles had nothing to do with what was being asked, and responses were a little too verbiose without providing enough substance) 3) Lack of attention to detail: The same questions would be asked repeatedly, indicating my responses were not being captured. Janice forgot on multiple occasions the mothers on both the bride and groom side has passed away. Already a painful subject, Janice did not include an order for a memorial table to the rental company despite discussions of how the table should look. This was especially hurtful to both of us. 4) No hustle: In 3 months of working together, only 1 draft of the budget was ever sent. Despite repeated requests for updates, information from vendors were not updated in and it would take weeks to get responses back for clarifying questions. I ended up having to reach out to all the vendors myself for specifics. In the end, we politely requested a partial return of our deposit due to our dissatisfaction with the services. We had provided constructive feedback early on as well as multiple opportunities to improve. Instead of coming to a mutual agreement, she stopped responding to our emails while continuing to send me invoices for additional payments after we decided to part ways. Janice is a nice lady and we do hope she can take the above as constructive criticism and improve from this unfortunate circumstance.

On the day of Janice and her team made my vision come to life. Everything couldn’t have been more perfect. Even with rain (our venue was outdoors at a friends house) , uncooperative children (my 4y0 didn’t nap and my 2yo was sick), and important family arriving late, Janice kept the evening flowing seamlessly. Everyone complimented how “perfect” and personal the wedding was, and most of that was thanks to Janice seeing my vision and making it happen. Her vision to helping brides with stress free planning, organization and time management is something I was looking forward to but unfortunately did not have the best experience. I felt that her knowledge of the wedding industry is something that she harps on and focuses too much on, instead of catering to what I wanted for my wedding. It felt as if it was just another wedding for her to plan and get through. For everything that she said couldn’t be done, she didn’t suggest an alternative route which left me stressed to figure things out on my own. There were things that we discussed that she forgot about that I caught right before I walked down the aisle and had to tell her to fix and during the reception as well. I also rented decoration items for my reception venue which I should have looked at before letting Janice request them because I wanted bistro lights but instead I get to the venue and they are Christmas lights, which by then was too late to switch out. As a bride I feel like these are not things you should be worried about on your wedding day. I don’t discredit her though because she does work hard and it was an amazing wedding nonetheless.

My first advice to brides is to first make a separate email for all wedding stuff. Second would be to figure out what you want the most and what you could care less about. Then, find your coordinator, your wedding fairy god mother lol! It's so true! My husband told me at first that we didn't need one because of our line of work. WRONG! I knew we needed one ASAP! We got engaged on November 6, 2015. It was work & travel all year long so we did some venue research but finally booked the venue on November 2016. We visited Oahu one more time between Dec 13-18, 2016. I went to The Wedding Cafe, talked to all sorts of vendors and asked for referrals over the phone, emailed, instagram, fb, yelp! I did all of it! I love it when vendors tag who they worked with for that particular wedding. Makes life easier! When I got back home, I still kept researching, then found Wedding Planner 808! Checked out the website, looked at the detailed list of services and pricing. OMG SHE IS VERY DETAILED! THE WEBSITE GIVES YOU A COMPLETE IDEA OF WHAT YOU WILL GET! HOW MANY PHONE CALL SESSIONS, HOW MANY CONSULTATIONS, THE PRICE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN DIFFERENT SERVICES... I know other coordinators/planners may have an enticing website or other vendors refer their friends to you but their prices may also be too much, over the top, in my opinion! I am so glad I **DID NOT** pay $3500 for a same day coordination. As soon as I got on the phone with Janice, she asked me a million questions (exaggeration) but I LOVED IT!!! She was trying to get to know me, my fiance and what we both wanted!!! I instantly knew that I hit *GOLD*! Instant CONNECTION! Janice's pricing was very reasonable, she was very, very patient, very professional, very detailed, very open to my requests, very flexible and seriously, she did wayyyyyy more than expected. She was a text, phone call or email away! Every Time I emailed her, she emailed back just to acknowledge that she received it all! She was A LIFE SAVER! Every detail was accounted for, her team member even came to the bride's suite to see if we needed anything and made sure we were at the church on time. They were even helping clean up! Everything was PERFECT. From the very start to the very end! She would give her tips so that everything would go as planned and guess what? We both super happy that we found her. After speaking with them, I knew without a doubt that Janice Bachiller was the planner I wanted. At our first call, I knew that hiring Janice would be one of the best decisions I've ever made. I can't tell you how wonderful it was to know her from the start, that Janice had my best interests in mind. She is also very kind, pleasant, and so easy to work with. Janice has a group of preferred vendors she works closely with in all her weddings...hire them! She has her own exclusive rates with them, it will save you money! She gave top-quality, professional service from start to finish. She was responsive to all my countless emails or texts, her price was very reasonable, and she was always flexible and willing to help with anything. As the wedding came closer, she provides you and each of your vendors a precise timeline from getting ready to pre-ceremony to the end of the reception. Talk about being on top of your game! To top it off, she even provided me a complimentary rehearsal time, venue site visit, and a personal coordinator assistant by my side on wedding day :) Like all weddings, my wedding had a variety of challenges, including a wedding date change because our venue wasn't available, to a limo dropoff situation to the ceremony, to figuring out if my ceremony will continue to be held outdoors due to a prior storm because it was muddy. Janice isn't perfect but she had my best interests and handled everything with a calm smile, and I knew I had nothing at all to worry about. My (now) husband & I emailed a few coordinators and met with one before meeting with Janice & that one coordinator gave me the impression that she was holding back because of the fact that we're young, which I strongly dislike. We met with Janice for our consultation and was blown away on how amazing and professional she was. We also quickly realized we had SO little knowledge of all the itty bitty details that goes into wedding planning. After going all the information (which felt like information overload) we were quoted for the package that would best fit or needs, which was cheaper than the other other coordinator that we met with. So it was a no brainer to hire her. Janice was always either a text or email away for ANYTHING, no matter how early or late in the day it was. We met a handful of times to see where we were with our planning. She works with an amazing group of vendors. Each time we were asked who our coordinator was, we were always reassured that we were in good hands, which we never got tired of hearing. Let's fast forward to our finalization meeting with our reception venue. My husband & I both agree that we are SO grateful that Janice was able to come to the meeting with us cause we would've been SO lost without her! She knew exactly what to say, when to say it, and was totally ON IT. Also with our table arrangements...she is by far THE most patient person I know cause I have no idea how she handles the kinds of stress weddings comes with. Now let's take it to our rehearsal date : We had a VERY large bridal party (10 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen) and handled the rehearsal very professionaly, even when the boys wanted to fool around, she surely put them in their place. I'm glad she did that, cause it would've been even worse if i had to take matters into my own hands with them. We had a bump with our vendors the night before the wedding, Janice was able to handle it with no problems! Although she had another event before our wedding, she always texted both my husband & I to check up on how everything was going. As soon as we got to our ceremony venue, she was right there to get to work! Her and her staff set up our reception venue and handled everything perfectly throughout our program. Thank you Janice for all that you and your staff has done to make our wedding dreams come true, STRESS FREE! I highly recommend her to anyone, because she really knows what she's doing & you can really see that she absolutely loves what she does!

Me and the Mrs. could not have been happier. Wedding Planner 808 really went above and beyond to insure that everything was taken care of the day of the wedding. The planning process was very detailed yet easy to understand. They were so knowledgeable and really helped us with all aspects of the wedding. These people genuinely care and want your day to be worry free. Janice built great relationships with our vendors and that made for clear direction for all of them. The idea of just showing up and enjoying the day really was a great feeling. And we did. The day turned out amazing. was necessary to meet prior to the week of the wedding, which was spent coordinating the details for the rehearsal. These details were already discussed through email and intro sheets; it was redundant. Also, prior to our meeting I emailed Janice a detailed timeline showing the highlights before which she waited last minute to tell me her computer was acting up so she couldn’t open the file. Our first in-person meeting did not give me the best first impression of her organization and services. The day of the rehearsal did not seem to get better. She was not professionally dressed, which did not give the best first impression on our parents for our choice in vendors. During the rehearsal she interrupted Reverend Kimo each time he asked Paul and I a question. It got to a point where I had to ask for her to wait till Reverend Kimo addressed his questions to her. It was frustrating. She was helpful when it got to the line-up and the process of marching in and out. We are a proud couple of our DIY work because of the fact that our vendors are all top of the line producers; Janice set herself apart. The day of the wedding was a stress free day for the most, the only stress felt was during the ceremony. Janice did not help us to figure out the sound situation during the rehearsal, so we had to figure it out on the day of. I requested for one of my MOHs to get the music over to Janice. Another person later informed me that Janice tried to pass this task off to my reception coordinator, when my reception coordinator informed Janice that this was apart of her ceremony coordination services it was passed onto my MOHs bf. This was not cool at all. He was a guest of our wedding who was asked to work. If he was not able to figure it out I may have had a soundless ceremony. During the procession, Janice eventually stopped cueing the rest of the entourage because she was talking stories to our guests that walked in late. All these unfortunate events were just small hiccups, because we had a beautiful perfect wedding day. Though Janice was unable to provide good service it wasn’t a big thing because of our DIY work, attention to detail, and awesome vendors who excellently executed everything we needed. I don’t believe I would hire her again. If I was able to experience all these things with just a couple meetings I am worried to know what her full coordination services are like.

Once our wedding began, I was completely stress free and could truly sit back and enjoy the evening as it unfolded. Executing my wedding was no easy feat, as I was very particular about where things were placed and left Janice with specific instructions on how I wanted the event to flow, and how decorations were to be moved to new areas and re-purposed throughout the night. I did not have to remind her of a single detail! She was on point the entire evening. Janice went above an beyond – she set up regular meetings with us to go over details as it got closer to the wedding , she was always quick to respond to my emails and she even offered to coordinate our rehearsal. I had originally considered asking a friend to be my day of coordinator, but after going through the experience and seeing how much work and reliability is required, I am very grateful that I hired a professional! I would highly recommend Janice and her team to anyone – she is extremely dedicated and passionate about her profession!

I was very impressed with Janice's works and reviews I found online so I decided to go with my guts and hired her as my coordinator. Janice was very responsive to all my emails and answered all the questions I had. Compare with other wedding coordinators out there, her price was also reasonable/affordable with the excellent service she provides. I was so thankful she wasn't committed to any other events on my wedding day :-) Janice helped with the timeline, made great suggestions and not the mention, the last minute design and printing of my ceremony and reception program. She decorated the ceremony location and ensure everything looks exactly how I wanted. The reception tables were perfectly decorated. She did exactly how I wanted it to be. I am a very picky person and was a demanding bride. Janice met my wants, was a great counsellor when I didn't quite know what I wanted, helped me focus and be realistic while making my wishes come true. We had the most magical day of our lives! I wanted very specific things for our wedding (ocean-side chapel, quality dining, and hundreds of other specifics), and Janice brought more into the picture! She conducted a wonderful wedding rehearsal the day before and had an assistant with us throughout the whole wedding day while she conducted the vendors. She went above and beyond, and even helped me get a bachelorette party together. Through last-minute stressful and forgetful moments, Janice helped me calm down and took care of emergencies. Janice is a very warm, professional, and personable lady. She is competent and knows everyone in the wedding industry. You can tell that she has been excelling at this for a long time! We got many compliments about Janice's efficiency and friendliness from our guests. I have a piece of advice for every future bride: invest in a good wedding planner!
