We hired Wedding Plannjng Plus as our partial wedding planner and day of coordinator, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing and distressing and we felt disrespected b...y this business.
Many responsibilities that should have been handled by the planner fell back onto us as the bride and groom, adding significant stress during both the planning process and the wedding day itself.
The timeline provided was disorganized and, at times, confusing and did not take into account the requirements of how each separate vendor needed to interact with each other and the bride and groom. As a result, several important moments were missed entirely, which was deeply upsetting. Most concerning was a severe mistake with the ceremony timeline that caused the bride and groom panic and anxiety had lasting effects on our emotions for the day.
When these mistakes were brought up to WPP, our message was ignored - there was no sense of accountability or genuine apology. We only received a response when we requested a refund after consulting our lawyer, but then were told to talk to their lawyers and they would not engage in a conversation.
It was also discouraging that a member of our bridal party, who was directly affected by these same issues and had to take on work to correct WPPs mistakes rather than enjoy the day, had their review removed. Their experiences were valid and important, and it is disappointing that prospective couples may not see the full picture.
I was flexible and professional in my interactions with the WPP, and did not ask for much, and certainly not the level of planning for which we engaged them, but still we were not treated well. We understand that everyone has bad days, and even bad projects, but when we hired WPP, we at least expected respect, accountability, and a response to mistakes. We don’t know why we were treated so badly.
Weddings require trust, reliability, and professionalism, and are one of the most important days of two people’s lives. Unfortunately, we did not feel that WPP had any respect for us or the way in which their actions caused distress on this important day. It’s telling that there are only positive reviews here - it’s normal for a business to have some bad experiences, but for there to be zero is interesting.
