Krista took care of all the arrangements for our smaller wedding of 35 guests in under 45 days. It truly was the ceremony and celebration of our dreams. Kirsta first found us a smaller, outdoor venue so all guests felt comfortable attending. With outdoor space at a premium, she was able to find us the perfect spot at a decent rate. She worked with the venue and caterer to make sure all deadlines were met and everything was set. She also helped with coordination the day-of to make the whole thing stress free. After all that the pandemic threw at us, I am so grateful to have had Kirsta during the wedding process. If you are planning even a normal wedding, HIRE Krista. She knows everyone and was so patient with us as we made last-minute decisions and changes. Our wedding day was beautiful and I am so grateful for Krista.

She felt like more of a friend in times than a wedding planner, helping me make decisions that were brand new to both of us and doing whatever she could to make sure our day was still magical despite all of the new safety precautions. It was so nice to have Krista there to keep things organized and not have to burden family and friends with worrying about details on the day of the wedding. ideration. I give her a lot of credit for dealing with the stresses of a from-scratch event and the delays on the part of both us and the vendors. My one recommendation to future clients would be that you be very clear about the logistics of how rented items will be sorted at the end of the night, if you do as we did and only get Krista to help with select services. I have still not been able to find a couple of special sentimental items that we used during the event, and some of the rented items ended up in the trash. I think that, if we had anticipated the chaos of 10+ vendors’ cleanup, we would have made clearer arrangements with her and everything would have ended up in the right place. Day of, Julia set up our decorations and put me at ease knowing that none of our family or friends would need to rush over between ceremony and reception to check anything. She had it all covered flawlessly, and it looked just like I had imagined it! During the reception she checked in with my husband and I about the timeline, if we wanted anything changed, and we truly were able to sit back, take in our reception with all our loved ones, and dance the night away. Krista was so much more than that! Our meetings leading up to the wedding were amazing because she helped me think through certain situations and plan for certain scenarios that I never would have thought of on my own. On our wedding day, Krista took care of setting up ALL of our decorations at the venue, coordinating all of the various vendors and drop offs/deliveries, and most importantly, making sure everything and everyone at the reception was okay! Our reception was at the MKE Historical Society, so we had to hire every vendor separately on our own. Krista managed all of those various contacts and details flawlessly. After hiring Krista and meeting with her, I felt like I could FINALLY relax and get excited for my wedding day, which is exactly what every bride should be able to do. Krista took every stress off my shoulders and made me feel at such ease leading up to the big day. My husband and I appreciated all the little things she did, like staying extra late to help our parents clean everything up and load up their cars with decorations and gifts. Krista made sure that we even got a to-go box of our late night snacks and leftover dinner (because we barely had time to eat.) When my husband and I finally left our reception, Krista was ready and waiting with my change of clothes, purse, spare shoes, food to go, and the photo album from our photo booth. It was like having a mini sendoff! Her assistant Julia was absolutely amazing as well. They made the best team and all of my bridesmaids and family members who interacted with them kept telling me how wonderful they were. I am incredibly grateful for everything Krista did for us and can't rave about her enough. I did quite a bit of research into local wedding planners and met with a few others before hiring Krista. Hands down, she was the absolute best and I am so thankful for her! I feel like there's no way our wedding could've possibly gone as smoothly as it did without her help. My only regret is that I didn't hire Krista earlier in my planning process because she was so FUN and easy to work with!

Whether I wanted a lot of information on a vendor or a general opinion on what would be best for the wedding, Krista quickly figured out my personality and how to best direct me to a decision which would be best for my wife and I. She is only able to do that because she cares and gives personal service in a way which makes a person feel like you are the only person she is planning a wedding for. I reached out to Krista approximately 10 months prior to the date of the wedding, we must have exchanged at least 500 emails (as I was overseas and time zones didn't always allow telephone conversations) and I can not remember ever waiting a day for a response from her! THAT is responsiveness I would never have expected. I was only able to return to the States for one weekend prior to the wedding, Krista arranged all of the vendor meetings in that short 3-day span, she attended every vendor appointment and made sure I understood my options and never pressured me to do something I wasn't ready to commit to. On the day of the day of the wedding, when you walk into your reception venue and everything is set up and ready to go...that is when you come to realize how invaluable Krista is to your wedding day. Everyone warns you not to stress on your wedding day and just "enjoy it." Krista makes sure that will be the case with your special day!

For anything we needed, she was there, even helping put the boutonnieres on the boys! :) Prior to the wedding, she did a stellar job answering my constant emails and questions promptly, and was very thorough in our last meeting together to go over final details for the wedding -- which for any bride is great reassurance that the day is going to go wonderfully! :) She also did an amazing job setting up for our reception, and I couldn't have picked someone better to carry out what I had envisionioned my wedding to look like. It's like she knew exactly where I wanted everything to a T! :) Before leaving for the night after all of her duties were fulfilled, she asked if there was anything else she could do for us, and at that point, there was nothing more she could've done to make it any more exemplary. Krista is so easy to work with, and really made the planning process so much less stressful (we planned our wedding in less than eight months). Not one thing went wrong; it was simply outstanding and really allowed my groom and I to truly enjoy every minute of our wedding day. I would highly recommend Weddings with a Twist to any bride/couple!

o know that she was there behind the scenes. I am an over planner, and there is so much that comes up on a wedding day that you can't plan for! Krista took care of all of those little things, and I was able to enjoy it. :) Highly, highly recommend. She is really easy to work with and goes above and beyond what she is supposed to do.

e the best option. Being a bride from out of town and not having family in the Milwaukee area was a nightmare until Krista came to the rescue. Once we found the Hubbard Park lodge as our venue, she was my saving grace to finding the rest of our wedding needs. She was always available to meet on the 2-3 occasions that I flew into Milwaukee, and always returned emails/phone calls promptly. Krista came to our wedding tasting, helped us order our wedding invitations, found our officiant, hair/make-up artist, DJ, and kept me on a schedule!!! (which I'm not very good at) and overall made the wedding experience awesome. She was also present for the rehearsal/rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception! She set up the ceremony/reception and also did the take down at the end of the evening. I'm probably one of the more easy going brides but she made things go so smoothly. I honestly never felt stressed the entire weekend of my wedding (and EVERYONE was an out of town/state guest!). She took care of everyone and everything. If your looking for a relaxed, organized, professional, can roll with anything kind of gal I would choose Krista! If your feeling stressed hire her she'll help you out!

She was supposed to set up the decor (and brought two assistants to help) We also had about 6 other people there to help. Most everything got done, but they blew the lights out that we spent a lot of money and time doing the layout. They didn't hook up the PA for the ceremony, which was outside, during an air show. The lantern backdrop for the ceremony was not done to my specifications, and there were about 20 lanterns that just didn't even get used. I had to tell her when events were supposed to be happening, which was one of the main things she was there for...She should have been telling ME when these things were going to happen since I made out a very detailed itinerary and programs. Someone had left all of my specially purchased compostable dinnerware and tin can lanterns in the cab of the Uhaul, and she never looked there, and we had to send guests out in the middle of the wedding to buy plates, forks, cups, etc. Among many other things that went wrong, she took the keys to the Uhaul with her when she left. Overall she was very nice, and the preliminary meetings went well and I really liked her, but when it came to implementation, she bit off more than she could chew. I'm sure she would do a great job for a smaller, less involved wedding, but I would NOT recommend Weddings With A Twist to anyone who has a lot of decor, or a very DIY wedding.

is incredibly sweet and an absolute joy with which to work. Krista is also very flexible when scheduling meetings and understanding when changes occurred to our event. I would DEFINITELY recommend working with her.

ng and even reminded me of things that I had said then and had forgotten about! She gave us such peace of mind to know that we didn't have to be there for reception set up and that we didn't have to put out any of our family members or friends by making them do it. Our venue looked great. We sent her home right after dinner but in hindsight I wished I would have had her stay through the reception to help with a few things that came up and with taking down the venue decor.

pan of wedding planning! Krista met with us a week before our wedding and was so sweet and down to earth. She instantly put our minds at ease! She asked a lot of questions to make sure she thoroughly understood how we wanted our day, and wasn't afraid to contact us for additional information (all of which are characteristics of an exceptional wedding planner). Krista is incredibly detail-oriented and notices the little things so you don't have to worry about them yourself (which was EXACTLY the type of coordinator we were looking for!). Krista is so focused on any given project and the love for her career is clear to anyone around her. She is kind and thoughtful, and checked in with us at appropriate times during the day to make sure we were okay and asked if we needed anything. Her services put our minds at ease..people noticed how calm I was the entire morning of our wedding day. And it was all because I knew our wedding was in the best hands..Krista is the BEST wedding coordinator and I would absolutely 100% recommend her!!
