Nice to see you! You can call me Wes, and I am the lead photographer here at Wesley Harden Photography. My team and I specialize in destination adventure elopements, weddings, and all things couples. Whether your event is big or small, we are here every step of the way. In particular, we are wedding professionals who work closely with our clients to bring their vision for their special day to life.
Often, we are our couple's first experience with a professional photographer, and I know what it feels like to be in front of the camera, so I understand the hesitation. It can and will be so much fun, that is my promise to you! I am a candid photographer, and none of my couples are models. You are in very capable hands, and I will help you and your partner every step of the way. You are NOT alone in this!
As a photographer, it's my job to be your guide, your personal journalist, but most importantly, someone who can make you laugh over just about anything, no matter how small! All you will need to do is show up and be yourselves.
From Yosemite Valley Weddings to the Bay Area, even the moon and back, I am here for you until the very end. A few destinations I am familiar with are Yosemite National Park, Sedona, Arizona, and Mt. Rainer weddings and elopements.

Services Offered
Wesley Harden Photography is available for engagement sessions, wedding and elopement sessions as well as destination weddings. We offer all of our couples step by step guides to planning their dream wedding. We begin all conversations with a free consultation wherein we help understand exactly what our clients are looking for before building a custom wedding package for them in order to help bring their dream wedding to life. Clients will also receive an 80+ page wedding guide that is a step by step process to building and creating a perfect wedding. We will help devise timelines and a schedule of events to ensure that all photography sessions run smoothly. Furthermore, we can obtain an additional photographer and complete extended hours if required. In terms of photography products, couples can obtain prints, albums, and digital files from this company and access their wedding galleries for life.

I don’t know where to start, other than to say of all of our awesome vendors, Wes is the one I am happiest to have found. From our first phone call before booking, Wes stood out. We were on the phone for an hour where wes walked us through his process, got to know our wants and needs, and answers our questions. He was so kind, thorough, and intentional. Immediately we knew we wanted to work with him. We met via zoom a few weeks before the wedding and went through a timeline of the day, and Wes made sure we hadn’t missed anything on his forms to make sure he captured all our special moments. NOW for the day of the wedding. Wes texted us ETAs, arrived early, took the most beautiful detail shots (at a venue he’s never been to before), set up for our first look, and knocked out bridal party photos before the ceremony. He grabbed us for golden hour, and only needed about 15-20 min to get the most natural and beautiful couples photos. A few awesome pics during the reception and he was outta there. SOMEHOW ONLY TWO WEEKS LATER HE HAD OUR ENTIRE PORTFOLIO READY TO GO?!?!? They are the most gorgeous photos and I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of them. Not only did Wes capture all the details we cared so much about, he was able to highlight the whole mood and vibe of our day, how happy we all were and how much fun we all had together.
Wes is the most professional and enjoyable photographer to work with and he made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I would highly recommend Wes to my friends and family, and anyone looking for a truly personal experience with their wedding photographer.

Our experience with Wesley was downright awesome. From the get-go, he wasn't just a photographer; he was like the ninja of capturing moments.
Sorting out the details for his trip to Washington? Wesley nailed it. Found the best deals, made everything easy. And the trail he picked for our shoot? Pure magic.

I can’t say enough positive things about Wes, as a photographer, wedding coordinator, and generally as a human being. I’d be lying if I told you I did a great job planning my wedding as my fiancé and I both started new jobs at the time and were planning our whole wedding out-of-state. Wes not only comforted us through the whole planning process but was also willing to meet us the day before the wedding to act as our coordinator since we had only seen The Palace of Fine Arts once before our ceremony. He was familiar with the location of our venue and offered valuable insider knowledge on how to setup the ceremony for the best framing and lighting, coordinated the whole ceremony day-of, directed traffic pattern during the event, and of course, taking the most AMAZING pictures that we will cherish for all the years to come. Our wedding would not have been the same if it weren’t for Wes – his talent and professionalism made our day possible, but his support and personable attitude made it an unforgettable experience. If you’re lucky enough to have him as a photographer, know you are in good hands.
We could not have gotten the wedding we wanted without Wesley. He was so willing to go above and beyond to make sure our wedding went off without a hitch, from helping stage the wedding the day of to providing local “boots on the ground” guidance to us since we were not from the area where the wedding was being held. All of that was on top of providing absolutely stunning pictures and being quick and professional in planning and coordinating our booking.
Also, I have to add that he’s generally just a great person, and he was a pleasure to be around on our wedding day.

Wesley was so great to work with! He is extremely organized from the very beginning, knows the area we chose very well (Yosemite Valley), and his finished product was exceptional. Everyone loved the photos and we couldn't be happier with how they came out. Wesley even helped us organize our small crowd of less-than 20 guests. Wes is hands down the best photographer I’ve ever come across. He was great to work with and his knowledge of the Yosemite area was invaluable. Despite it raining intermittently throughout our session, he kept my wife, our daughter and myself all motivated and was able to capture some amazing photographs that we continually receive compliments on. The photographs he captures speak for themselves and we’re very grateful and happy that he was able to capture such a special moment that we’ll be able to enjoy for the rest of our lives.
Wesley was so hands on in our elopement process. We had never been to Sedona, AZ and he helped us map out locations, places to see, and what was realistic vs. what would not be feasible. Not only that, but Wesley was so personable, made us feel extremely welcome, and the photos were to die for. I can recommend him enough. The attention to detail and timeliness was something we really wanted and he over delivered on our expectations
Wes was literally the best we could have ever hoped for when it came to our engagement photos!! His upbeat, fun energy made us look and feel so comfortable in the photos! That combined with his expert knowledge of Yosemite gave us engagement photos better than we could have dreamed possible! Another amazing thing was he literally delivered our entire album less than 48 hours after our session! We could not be happier and our only “issue” is we are still struggling with which pictures we want to frame because they are all so beautiful!!

Wesley did such an AMAZING job capturing our engagement photos in July 2021 (Yosemite NP) and our wedding day photos on 6/4/22 (Tenaya Lodge)! We are so in love with our photos and lucky to have these to look back on forever! Wesley got us our sneak peeks in a very timely manner and we cannot wait to get the rest of our wedding photos soon! From our initial inquiry to after the wedding - Wesley has always provided us with the best care and service. Wesley Harden was beyond amazing at taking my engagement 💍 pictures as well as my wedding pictures he made the extra effort for things I didn't even think about he paid attention to detail as well as making me feel beautiful on my big days he came out to Monterey to take pictures at our special spot on the beach! Wesley is hands down the best photographer you could ask for. I instantly felt like I have known him forever. We had a lot of people that needed to be photographed of all ages and some being pretty camera shy. Wesley was great with his direction and put everyone at ease instantly. Being the bride I was a stress case and Wesley calmed my nerves and gave me pep talks all through out the day. I cannot say enough good things about him, his professionalism and of course his amazing eye! We are in Awe of all of our pictures! Wesley is an absolute GEM. After multiple calls with several other photographers, I was started to feel uncertain about eloping in Yosemite, but after finding Wesley and talking with him, he really put all of my worries at ease.
After my first phone call with him, I knew he was the right photographer for my husband and me. Wesley is extremely passionate about his work. He absolutely loves Yosemite and knows the area extremely well. He gave an entire run down of what to expect so there were no surprises, and even gave advice on what to bring since we would be hiking to Taft point for photos as well. He went over every detail that you could possibly imagine, was extremely communicative, and very polite. He even helped us create a timeline since we had no idea what we were doing, and he made sure that we included, and allotted time, for everything that was important to my husband and me.
My husband and I have been together for six years and have never had professional photos taken. Neither of us our photogenic, but Wesley made taking photos one of the most comfortable and enjoyable experiences. We both look absolutely amazing in all of our photos!
Wesley came up with so many ideas for our wedding day, and was quick to find creative ways to include things, like my grandpa’s motorcycle, into our photos (which I had never even thought to include). He made our day that much more magical and personal. Wesley is caring, fun, extremely creative, and his attention to detail is phenomenal. Wesley was everything you could ask for in a photographer. Responded to e-mails and questions right away, made time to sit down and talk with us about exactly what we expected on our wedding day, and got our pictures edited and sent to us incredibly quickly which is doubly impressive because he had three weddings that weekend so I know he was slammed with work and he still managed to get it done. On top of all that, having a photographer that is familiar with the area really helped put our minds at ease because we knew we wouldn't have to worry about him being late or getting lost which is not the kind of stress you want to deal with on your wedding day. Overall we couldn't be happier and if we ever get some anniversary pictures taken, we know exactly who we'll be talking to.
It was an amazing experience working with Wesley. It was our first time photo shoot experience, but Wesley made us feel comfortable during the whole shoot. The whole experience felt natural, he made a few posing suggestions but nothing felt fake.
Additionally, I contacted about 10 photographers and Wesley was the most timely and responsive. Very professional! My husband and I are also picky with punctuality, I was so surprised that Wesley was at the meeting spot earlier than me. I'm normally the first one everywhere I go but Wesley beat me haha

Wesley was amazing to work with! From the very beginning he was always responding promptly and answering all questions with professionalism. He was always on time for phone calls and photo shoots. We hired Wesley for our intimate wedding last year, and it was the best decision we could have made! From the start, Wesley was extremely communicative and flexible. He made everyone feel at ease and was incredible at making suggestions for picture opportunities. Wesley knows what he is doing, and we can not recommend him enough. Wesley gave us such an amazing experience! My husband and I did not plan to get married during the pandemic but later saw it as a great opportunity to have a small, intimate wedding with just a few loved ones that we actually wanted to invite. After we decided to go through with it, we realized that we only had 6 days to plan the wedding. We chose Wesley because of his experience with capturing special moments between couples with nature as the backdrop. We had a winter wedding so although it was cold and snowy and a little challenging with my wedding dress in that environment, he managed to make the pictures look magical. Wesley made the whole experience stress-free. He was responsive and constantly communicated with me, he drove 2.5 hours to get to us, and his great personality made the whole experience so much fun! We would definitely hire Wesley again in the future.

Not only was he the best hype man, the best photographer. But he catered to every detail We wanted, and made sure my dress always looked good and hair was perfect for the shot! He worked phenomenally well with our team of vendors to make our day perfect! And he was our witness ♥️
Wesley is energetic but brought a calm professionalism to our wedding and reception. He went above and beyond to accommodate our individual needs and never gave the impression that he was put out in anyway. He went with the flow but was also able to direct the flow when we didn't know how to direct it! I would recommend him to anyone for their photography needs! Also, his photos are amazing!
