in electing her for videography for our wedding was her style of videography and we really loved her “transitions” in her video work. Izabella really went above and beyond. Our rehearsal was two days before the wedding and we didn’t expect Izabella to come as it wasn’t required by any means but she came to scope out the church/ceremony location and was even doing video work during our rehearsal. This meant so much to us as our location was in the west suburbs and she travelled from the city for that. I also discovered after the wedding occurred that Izabella even went to our reception venue (also in the West Suburbs) to drone filming and filming of the venue before the big day. We had no idea she went there until watching the videos. These actions showed that Izabella goes above and beyond what is required. She went to both of these locations to get a feel and scope of what each place had to offer for her to utilize what would be best for her work. This showed me that she was fully prepared. When the wedding day came, Izabella had a second videographer, John, that worked with us as well (as we did elect a second videographer with our package). Izabella spent time with the bride/bridesmaids and John spent the morning with myself and the groomsmen while we were all getting ready. John was amazing in working with. When I met John, he had such a friendly/down to earth personality that I and the groomsmen felt like he was one of our friends but John was very professional overall. John was really creative with using the lighting in our room, the angels of the video and really just capturing the essence of the moments throughout the day. After our first look, Izabella and John, worked as a great duo in capturing many different points of view throughout the day but also capturing us a married couple. I felt that one would usually be focused on us as a couple and the other would be getting more the behind the scenes/background of what was going around us as a married couple. They really captured everything and even utilized a drone during our pictures at a garden. After the wedding, Izabella provided us amazing final products which included: a highlight video, documentary film, Instagram, scenes and bonus features. Izabella asked us what kinds of bands/music that we listened to and requested our input for music for the video which made the end results more tailored to us a married couple, which was an excellent touch. (Even if you didn’t want to choose specific songs or music she can work with her expertise in choosing music if you so wish to choose music on your videos). Izabella even sent us what I would call a “care package” after the wedding, which included our DVDs, USBs and goodies such as snacks and candy in a cute package which was a thoughtful and beautiful touch in working with her. Trisha (my wife) and myself were more than happy in working with Izabella and John and with the videos/final product they created. They were able to capture so many of the moments that as a bridge/groom miss throughout the day with everything going on. The courtesy, service, kindness and most of all the fun they were able to bring in their work will never be forgotten. We 100% would recommend Izabella West for any type of work especially in videography.
