He normal doesn't like people. But he sense the compassion and professionalism. Fun and very very good at what she does. I did full planning with her and she delivered! Exceedingly. ices. I knew a good bit about what I wanted and planned for our wedding after our replan. I thought I could do most of it myself, but she brought so much to the table! From great vendor and decor recommendations to keeping me on my timeline to asking about things I had not/would not have thought about to helping us arrange all of my flowers and keep vendor shenanigans at a minimum - she was truly phenomenal.She will listen if you just need to vent, and make you feel like everything is okay, and most important she will make sure everything actually is okay!
Ophelia was always responsive and easy to talk ideas or concerns through with. Many times, she'd understand what I was trying to say way better than I could explain. Being able to utilize her for help communicating with vendors was a blessing and a huge burden off of my shoulders. She was dynamite our entire wedding weekend. From hanging out with my dad and I when I fell ill to making sure the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner went seamlessly. For the ceremony, she turned this giant empty space into the most beautiful ceremony site and something I hadn’t pictured in our wildest dreams. She was so chill (prayed with me the morning of) and calmed our nerves for us.
I felt that I could totally leave all vendor matters to her, which was a huge stress relief and she only included us when she absolutely had to. Throughout the month of our wedding, Ophelia was very communicative and, overall, just great – and fun! – to work with.
We've been married for three weeks now, and we still talk on a regular basis.vShe’s moved from being just our wedding planner to being a friend. Working with Ophelia was like working with a good friend, and I am incredibly thankful to have had the chance to do so. She has a gift and we’re eternally grateful that we got to experience it. We recommend her with the utmost confidence and cannot imagine anyone better to help with your special day!

ense stress due to lack of a time line being followed and communicated. Moments before I walked down the aisle, I was making sure and locating the the rings, flowers, and flower basket for my ring bearer and flower girl. More money was spent on photography due to lack of communication and scheduling. I received an invoice after my wedding from another vendor--when asking the planner about it, I was met with perceived defense and attitude instead of accountability. As the bride, the management of vendors the day of our ceremony was not my job. Therefore to be met with defense when assessing the reason for a new invoice was extremely unfortunate and unnecessary. I don't have nor will I receive our unity candles from our ceremony. I was told I didn't have to buy our unity candles because it was "taken care of", but if I would have known a planner would keep our unity candles (that have no meaning to a planner) I would have happily purchased them myself. I didn't ask for it to be a "gift", but extremely disappointed that my husband and I will never have our unity candle in our home and possession.
Due to my personality, I most likely would have let this slide if I felt that there was a sense of care, accountability, and/or empathy. My experience has not been positive since my wedding day. I have only received passiveness, attitude, and stonewalling. Leaving an impact on our honeymoon and the honeymoon stage of our marriage.
In short, I understand the difficulty of being a business owner, but customer service and how you treat people goes A LONG way. Especially with an investment as large as a wedding.

The Timeline was sent a month in advance with edit permissions for yourself and every vendor involved to communicate with me of what needed to be changed before final draft was made. Timeline flow was a great ongoing flow on the day of with 1 hr and 28 min in between during cocktail hour . The only thing that ran over time was dinner which was expected at a served/butler style dinner. Where guest complete meals in courses.
We discussed in our last in person planning session the Timeline in full detail and you made your requested changes to anything you wanted updated or added. A few weeks after I received a email from you wanting to change the arrival time for the photographer which went against my original recommendation for him to fulfill his 8 hour coverage to cover each event we had planned throughout wedding day. His original time to cover was 3pm-11pm (with ceremony starting at 5pm) which still would have gave him 2 hours of shoot time for "get ready shots" and your request was for me to change it to 1pm-9pm. The "Sparkler send off" per the timelime was always set to be done at 9:15pm. I never once was asked to change the time. When 9pm came around to gather guest for send off the photographer made me aware that he has now reached outside of his 8hrs and if you wanted him to stay and get those shots he could but there would be a $250.00 fee for the extra hour coverage. I told him to wait until I cleared that with you before I had him stay. My Asst. Coordinator came to you personally with that information letting you know the fee and you gave your verbal permission with complete understanding that you would receive a invoice. The additional invoice you received from security 2 weeks after your wedding was a complete surprise to me however, they were asked by the venue to stay 3 hrs longer per the vendor security requirements. Unlike the photographer when the info was given to the security a few days before the wedding he never once made me or the venue Manager aware that there would be a extra fee involved.
So the untrue statement that What's The O'ccasion Wedding &Event Planning ended up costing you more money is simply untrue. We were paid in full and never sent you any additional invoices.
We certainly strive to accommodate our clients as best as we can and fulfill our contractual obligations. However, this ended up being stressful for me as well as a business owner which is why my Attorney had to get involved due to the unforeseen harassment and defaming comments, racial remark received days after the wedding from your family member who already left me a detailed review which was made clear to me that her review was on behalf of you and your husband's perspective as well.
My Attorney has already responded to you regarding your primary complaints including the plain Unity Candle which was again apart of my inventory and was not a gift. I'm sorry that you assumed it was. However, we did gift you with a stainless steel knife server set as well as glass champagne flutes for a keepsake. Everything that was custom made for your wedding you received.
The WTO team definitely has learned a lot from this experience and look forward to growth and setting firm boundaries of what works best for us moving forward.
We will continue to demonstrate our mission on trying to provide the best experiences for our clients as we have done so many times in the past. On wedding day I had no clue or was never made aware that you were under immense stress. Each time I checked on you personally and I asked you were you okay you gave me assurance that you were fine and happy so much so we ended sharing laughs and dance with each other on the dance floor at the end of the night.
