We had a completely stress-free day. Everything was gorgeous and went off without a hitch! I'm so grateful to Kaleigh and all the staff for making our night so magical.

t spend any money on flowers due to how incredibly verdant the venue was on its own. When we got ahold of the options for the contract we were really impressed by all that was included for the price. It made planning the rest of the wedding knowing we were covered. We worked for months with our inhouse coordinator who made the whole process incredible. Kaleigh was our coordinator and she was amazing. She was having her own wedding on the same day as ours so she immediately understood the vision and what we wanted. We had four meetings over the process of a year and every time she helped us make decisions and made recommendations for different vendors that we might need. The day of coordinator Susanna was also amazing. Given that Kaleigh was obviously unavailable Susanna stepped in and made the day of so easy. She was always available to us, helped us get through the nerves of making sure everything went well and shepherded us around during the evening while we were getting busy celebrating and drinking. She even saved us a few appetizers we weren't able to get since we were taking photos while they were being served. Our DJ Jakobi nailed everything and matched the vibe perfectly. All the music during the ceremony was perfect. We had more of a kickback as opposed to dancing and he read the room perfectly. The music all night was excellent and I'm so happy we had him as our DJ. The staff for the night were incredible as well. The bartenders were great, fast and made excellent drinks. The food was amazing, and the rest of the staff helping out in various ways were super helpful anytime we had a question. We had brought in our own decorations for the tables and they collected it all and put it on a cart for us to collect the next morning. It was so nice not to have to worry about getting ahold of all that the night of. The next morning Zach, the steward overnight, continued the excellence we experienced at the Wildwood Inn. Part of the appeal of this venue was getting to have family and wedding party members stay overnight in the rooms and have a provided breakfast the next morning. When we woke up apparently there had been a mixup and there wasn't a cook onsite to make the breakfast, but I only found out about this hours after eating since Zach took it upon himself to cook the breakfast himself. He made a batch of coffee, helped us check out the next morning, and was super helpful when we collected all our decorations from the night before. Overall I cannot recommend the Wildwood Inn enough. They made our dream a reality and we cannot thank them enough. Worth every penny and more.

0th 2024 @ 11am. We checked on Monday, had our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. Breakfast was served Tuesday at 9am. 4pm was our ceremony and we had dinner and partied until 9pm. Wednesday at 9am was breakfast and 11am was check out. My entire bridal party, our kids, our moms, a couple of Aunts, and cousins all stayed there. The food was great!!! We chose buffet style for dinner and it was the LoneStar option. We had open bar the day of and beer and wine for rehearsal. All of which are part of customizable packages. Kelli helped us book the venue. She sold it! Kaleigh was our orginal wedding coordinator and was there for rehearsal dinner, unfortunately she broke her ankle coming in Tuesday morning. Without skipping a beat they had a new coordinator on the way. Melissa did a wonderful job. Especially on such grace short notice. Between my MOH and Walters I didn't know until I was fully dressed and waiting for my time to walk down. The crew was amazing and quick with getting things set up. Having the venue over night was awesome because my girls and i were able to get the decor set up the night before. Thank you, Walter's Wedding Estates and the Wildwood Inn crew. And this is just one of their many beautiful properties!

After the wedding, we kept hearing from our guests how much they loved Cody as a DJ! He helped make the reception a fun and memorable experience.

I’m so thankful for the entire team checking in with me throughout the night to make sure I had everything I needed. Our wedding day was amazing and exactly how I wanted it.

lown away aesthetically with this EXTRAORDINARY BEAUTIFUL exterior!!! I was WOW'ed while sitting out in my car. I then walk in, WOW and WOW!!! This vintage-vibe, antique- decorated interior was MIND BLOWING!!!! Then, the outdoor canvas, was nothing short of a magical garden with the added perk of a pool! And it gets better, the staff!!! Every single representative blew me away with their kindness, patience and overall expertise!!!! Melissa Austin was THEE absolute best wedding planner!!! She was and has been so intentional about making sure my dream day was captured the way I desired!!! Her vast knowledge of this industry was also an added benefit! I would not have been able to make it without her!!! I have made countless visits, with family, wedding party, and friends and she has accommodated me every time! I cannot wait to walk through Wildwood, next month as a future 'Mrs.' And there's no other place than Wildwood!!! I'm forever grateful and can't wait to share this long-awaited day at this beautiful venue!!!

venue is doing right: -Partner Vendors: Great people to work with! Went above our expectation's and offered to make up for any mishaps that occurred on the big day (Jenny Layne - we didn't even notice the missing parfaits until you brought it up, thank you for making it right). All our guests loved the catering and the portions were just right for our very hungry friends and family. Flowers and signs were beautiful and the vendor really worked with us to capture what was important to us and what was not. Photography and music were just the best! Both vendors saved the wedding in so many ways and made sure our day stayed special. -Venue: Gorgeous European inspired estate! It was a little snug with 80+ people, the place should really advertised that this location can fit more like 60 people comfortably. Hadn't known this, maybe we would have gone with another Walters estate location. (Not a big deal but wish the staff was more straightforward about this). Staff (Prep Work/Leading Up To The Wedding): Communication was a little slow and we felt that all of the due dates for venue selection was rushed. It was a little difficult to get a hold of the planner. This could just be the wedding pile up stress but it would have been nice to spread out the timeline a little to account for delays from the staffs end. Overall, we felt attended to and the price transparency right off the bat was appreciated. The only hiccup we had here was that we were told a breakfast buffet was included with our overnight stay but it was not. This threw off the morning after the wedding. Day of Wedding Venue Staff (Here's the not so great part): Leading up to the wedding day, we were constantly reminded that we would have a day of wedding coordinator. We even had discussions with our long term planning coordinator about additional touches that would be needed (e.g. tables, religious set up, etc.). Come our wedding day, its chaos. All our vendors set up everything spectacularly but everything that was supposed to be taken care of by the DOWC is not anywhere to be seen, much like here at this wedding. My bridesmaids, photographer, DJ had to help with setting up welcome tables, putting wedding favors on chairs, etc. (re-organizing people for sitting in the wrong seats, you name it and it didn't get done). My bridesmaid even found the wedding coordinator hiding out in the kitchen. While I understand wedding's can be chaotic, if there's an overwhelming amount of work for the day of the wedding, maybe the venue should hire two people or have more senior employees be the DOWC. One other thing I must mention and agree with other reviewers is the cake situation. So half a cake just disappears? While I'm more than happy share with all the hardworking staff, its disappointing to have hear staff taking a huge amount of leftover cake. Wedding cakes are not cheap and I would have like that my guests enjoyed an additional piece or taken leftovers. We opted for 4 tier cake that could easily feed 150 people and had a guest list half the size. My spouse and I really tried to enjoy our day but it was an ongoing battle with the DOWC to have everything pulled off. I'm so grateful to the amazing vendors that helped us get through it. 6 months later and happily married but the whole ordeal still bothers me.

ised. Our "chef" was one guy, his first day on the job, who may have worked in a kitchen but was NOT a chef. The fruit plate was served outside in 90 degree temp, no ice tray, no forks, no toothpicks. I asked for utensils for guests to use and was informed they didn't provide those because the fruit plate that contained pineapple and melon among other fruits was "finger food." Yes the guests were expected to eat with their hands. The florist who was wonderful, and a regular vendor at Wildwood from the time it opened did not recognize any of staff. She provided flowers for a wedding just the weekend before. The crostini's we ordered were finely diced pieces of ??? on melba toast. It only got worse from there. I was mortified. Being a native of South Louisiana, food is always plentiful and amazing. The "food" we were provided was neither. Our wedding coordinator was frantic and unorganized. The reception staff were unprofessional in their appearance and demeanor. One could not break away from his game to answer the question, "What happened to the leftover wedding cake?" When he did respond, he said "I don't know, I wasn't here." I can give many more examples of the nightmare that was my daughter's reception. I would tell anyone considering an event at Wildwood to run away. What they promise is not what you get. I have hosted parties and dinners for up to 200 people and managed to have good food and servce. I never anticipated that the most important event, my daughter's wedding reception, would be the only one I'd like to forget. I gave one star because it was the lowest rating, not because they earned it.

from start to finish are some of the things that come immediately to mind. We used their food vendor and picked the Hawaiian menu and it was great. I did my own table decorations and Amanda jumped in to help before and Kate and her assistant jumped in afterwards to help. We brought in a portable microphone system for toasts and the accoustics worked out fine. Very happy customer.

p. My day of coordinator Crystal was absolutely wonderful and kept us on track the entire night. I was not stressed at all and had no problems the whole entire day. We used in house catering and bar services which definitely was a plus, we got tons of compliments on the food along with our signature drinks. We only had about 80 people at the wedding which was a great size for dinner inside and all the dancing on the patio. They also allowed us to bring our own corn hole boards for the night. I couldn't imagine a better night!!!

ny area. Grooms room was awesome. I wish the bridal suite had a better set up. We rented the entire estate, which made for an awesome and convenient experience. Crystal, the manager, was very helpful and answered all of our questions. I learned the best way to communicate was via the Portal (not to respond to emails in your inbox!). Our day of coordinator was sweet- but not assertaive- and we had a bunch of drunk people! But she was also good. Compliments continue to come in on how good the food was! Over all, I am so thankful we went with the Wildwood Inn and had the all inclusive package- it really implied the wedding planning, that I was able to do in 3 months!~

elated. We loved everything about the venue. It was almost exactly a year after our tour that we ended up finally having the wedding - and we loved the venue just as much as when we first saw it. That amount of time (plus COVID) resulted in a few staff changes but my final contact, Kristy, was phenomenal. She also ended up being my coordinator for the wedding day and was flawless. She was so friendly, eager to help, and quick to respond to my many emails. We did a buyout of all the rooms the night of our wedding and had an after party in one of them. All of our guests staying in the rooms were blown away by how lovely they were. Breakfast the next morning for the overnight guests was a wonderful touch (and much needed after the after party). I can't say enough good things about this venue and Kristy. Our wedding was absolutely perfect.

We didn't end up booking them for reasons unrelated to their price or venue, but during the initial meeting we gave our standard contact info. Now that we're a few weeks out from that visit I am being contacted by several of their preferred vendors - through text, email, and phonecall - which I find pretty annoying. While Wildwood Inn certainly did not agree to keep our information private, I'm still a bit offended by the lack of privacy and professionalism. It would be one thing if we went with Wildwood Inn as our venue (it would probably be a very welcome option), but we haven't. We are getting married 75 miles away and can't possibly use any of them for our event. We toured at least half a dozen other venues and none of them have had the nerve to share our contact info. Very disappointed in their staff.

If you are looking for a great venue that doesn't require of much decorating, and a great team that will make your special day run smoothly this is it! We booked the rooms for our family and closest friends since our wedding was on a Sunday and it was the best idea ever. We got to relax and go into pj mode right after everyone left; didn't have to worry about transportation since we had an open bar, which by the way, the bartender was very nice, the thirsty bride and matron of honor (enjoying some leftover chicken strips meant for the kiddos) wanted coke, so he went and got us some even though he was helping with the cleaning once everyone was gone! To finish it off, we all got to pick what we wanted from their breakfast menu, and that food was delicious, props to the cook & our awesome server! inator they have for you day of, we had Amanda, and she was a life saver on timeline and keeping us in track! I would strongly recommend this venue if you want help with steps along the way! Also we upgraded to include the hotel rooms only a few months before and it was the best idea, have your wedding party stay there and the bridal suite is amazing for pictures and relaxing afterwards! They truly made all the personal touches come out, just ask them about an idea like we had private dining in our suite for dinner for a moment to ourselves and it's amazing how they can make things like that happen smoothly!

experience with The Wildwood Inn and Walters Wedding Estates was smooth from start to finish, and they answered every question we had along the way! The staff at Wildwood gave such great suggestions leading up to our wedding, and when the day finally arrived they reminded us yet again that we couldn't have made a better decision. We were able to sit back and enjoy the day we'd been planning for so long, and we soaked in each and every moment! We wouldn't change a thing!

The day-of coordinator included with our booking was one of the best parts of the venue, as she made sure everyone was where they needed to be and coordinated with the other vendors and I could just enjoy my day! I look forward to visiting again as a guest of the Inn for our anniversary!
