Working with Williamson Caterering was such a great experience! My daughter and her fiancé’s wedding venue location was somewhat out of the ordinary, but Rick was quick to figure out the logistics to make it work! He was so helpful in guiding us with the table seating and food selections, and he was always readily available when we needed him. And then there was Brooke! We worked with Brooke for months before the wedding – she always answered our emails quickly, she always had a patient and friendly demeanor, and after a while we started to feel like she was a part of our event! The day before our wedding we ran into a little problem (our fault, not Williamson’s), but Brooke was there to fix everything for us, and alleviated all of our worries quickly and efficiently. Brooke is an extremely valuable employee and a wonderful representation of Williamson. On the day of the wedding, the servers and staff were professional, polite, and friendly to all. They seamlessly catered to 135 people without a snag, and the food was delicious. We highly recommend Williamson Catering!!!

Food was a top priority for my fiancé and me, and when we found Williamson's BBQ package, we knew they were the perfect caterer for us. Everyone at our wedding raved about the hors d'oeuvres, especially the mini cheesesteaks and short rib potpies. The quality and taste of the food were outstanding, and our guests couldn't get enough. We also requested corn on the cob, which we knew might not be possible in April. But on the day of the wedding, we were pleasantly surprised when we saw corn on the cob on our plates. We have no idea how they did it, but we're incredibly grateful. What sets Williamson apart from other caterers is their willingness to work with their clients to provide a unique experience. They helped us create the layout of the buffet and bar exactly how we wanted it, even though it wasn't a traditional set up for the venue. They also provided enough staff to ensure that the dinner and drink service ran flawlessly. Rick and Brooke went above and beyond every step of the way. Their attention to detail and dedication to making our wedding day perfect did not go unnoticed. We couldn't be more grateful to have had them as our caterers. We found Williamson Caterers through the preferred list of vendors from our venue and it's easy to see why they were on that list! We decided to attend one of their open houses and were so impressed that we immediately knew we wanted them to cater our wedding! Everyone at Williamson was so helpful with answering all of our questions and their prompt email responses. Brooke especially was extremely helpful and made sure that all of the details for the meals and desserts were correct and to our liking! Having the opportunity to keep track of our guests RSVPs, meal options, and seating arrangement on AllSeated was a huge extra bonus! The food was delicious, the service was on point, and everything was set up exactly as we wanted it to be during the reception! Brooke checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we were good and if we needed anything else. We also added the Donut Wall option for dessert and it was such a big hit with our guests! We are so happy that Williamson Caterers were our vendors for our 128 person backyard wedding. Rick was great to work with throughout the entire process - he was very accommodating to any requests or ideas we pitched to him and provided so many different unique and delicious food choices for us to choose from. We really felt like we had the flexibility to create a food menu and experience that worked best for our wedding and Rick always made it seem like anything was possible. In addition to that, the food itself was INCREDIBLE! So many of our guests have commented on how great the food was. One of the highlights that everyone commented on was the mashed potato bar with the potatoes served in martini glasses – it was a hit. Going with Williamson Caterers is a full service option, especially if you are doing a backyard wedding – they will provide linens and table settings, food, service, alcohol and bartenders for a reasonable price and great service. If you are searching for a caterer for your wedding, you won’t be disappointed with Williamson!

We frantically reached out to Rick and his team this past winter when we decided to move our wedding entirely out of the city. Rick was very responsive and helped us navigate how to completely re plan our wedding in just a few months. Williamson caterers made our wedding day so incredibly perfect from start to finish. We are so happy that we chose Rick and his team to cater our May wedding at Brandywine Manor House! Rick worked with us through a 2020 postponement and also made sure that everything was perfect for our new 2021 date. We cannot thank him enough for his patience and kindness over the past year. The food and drinks day of were great and the staff was accommodating and friendly. All of the tables were beautifully set and our cookie table looked amazing! Aside from the many options we had to choose from, his staff was extraordinarily friendly and worked really hard to ensure we, as well as our guests, were taken care of. Williamson caterers was not only so amazing to work with every month leading up to the event, and so kind and responsive, but the event went so seamlessly with them and guests were absolutely RAVING about the food, drinks, and cocktail hour. For all the weddings my family and friends have been to multiple people had said it was the best cocktail hour and service they have ever had. Would 100000% recommend.

After 3 wedding dates, a new venue, and new caterer, we ended up having Williamson Caterers as our wedding caterer and I couldn't be happier with that choice. They were absolutely amazing to work with. From start to finish, they were flexible and accommodating. The food was stellar from the steak to the ice cream bar. We've gotten so many compliments from guests as well. Devon was there the day-of and she was wonderful! She made sure my husband and I always had a drink in our hand and food on our plate the entire night. She even went above and beyond to help with my complicated bustle! Rick and his staff were amazing! Unfortunately our food did not come from them but they made the food that came amazing. They worked with us when our other caterers would not. I wish we had them from the start. With the weird position they were in they made everything go as smooth as possible and it turned out great!! All I can say is they truly are amazing!!

Chicken was undercooked, and they threw away my champagne flutes, thinking they were theirs. But otherwise, they were pretty professional and easy to work with along the way.

I used Williamson for my wedding and they were incredible. Rick worked with me one on one to customize appetizers and menu choices. They offered great options for late night bite and desserts. He also worked with me to make signature drinks and order in specific craft beers we wanted. They all around were so great to work with. Most importantly we had our wedding during this coronavirus mess and had to postpone which they made such a stressful time so seamless. I called Rick told him we had to move the date and he made it work with no hiccups or stress! I can't thank their team enough!! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!!!

The best decision we made for my daughter's wedding was to hire Williamson Caterers! This was actually the 2nd time we hired them, the first time was for my son's rehearsal dinner! Rick is the best in the business. He is professional, creative, helpful and provides the most delicious food. The food presentation is perfection as well. We had lots of challenges due to the pandemic and had to change the wedding date but Rick never missed a beat. Rick was able to help us pivot to a much smaller affair than we originally planned on and offered so many great ideas that made our day perfect in every way. Williamson was amazing to work with, we used them for our wedding at Brandywine Manor House. They’re super budget friendly, and the food is AMAZING. We also did an open bar with Williamson. The staff was amazing – everyone from the bartenders to the folks serving food. They were really flexible when working with us and our budget. We did a donut wall with them, and people are still raving about the donuts over a month later. During the planning process, we worked closely with Lindsay and the day of we worked with Rick. They were both so easy to work with and incredibly accommodating. There were so many food options to chose from, and they were also flexible around drinks choices with us. We did a food tasting with them far in advance on the wedding, and Lindsay was also always available to chat on the phone for any questions or assistance that I needed. THANK YOU Williamson!!

Lindsay and Rick were beyond amazing to work with. We cannot send enough praises for everything they did from the tasting and meeting with us, to the day of the event. They are the nicest people and actually care about your day and try to help with anything they can (even non-catering related). Their service is exceptional and the food is amazing! Rick and his team are extraordinary. The food is fantastic but what makes them even more unique is that without hesitation they went above and beyond to help us personalize our day with our favorite things and elements meaningful to us such as our favorite beer (from NC!) and a popcorn machine. We were happy that their services can also including bar services, linens, etc.! What more could you ask for?! Would recommend 100%!!!!

Lindsay and Rick were great to work with for my wedding! The food was amazing and our gruests raved about how much they loved the hor d'oeuvres and miniature dessert table. We did a station style wedding which supplied a good variety of options to our guests. The price was affordable and alcohol was included per person. Rick and his team made our NYE wedding at Merion Tribute house the best ever. Affordable, highly responsive, and helpful beyond belief with the "little details", they made the day absolutely perfect. In addition, the staff on-site at our wedding were some of the hardest working, sweetest people that I've met. They made sure my husband and I were fed, hydrated, and having the best time ever. I'd recommend Williamson without hesitation to anyone looking for catering for their wedding!

Rick, Lindsay and the staff were wonderful to work with. We have some family members who have used Williamson's in the past and we can see why! Prior to the wedding they made sure that every detail was taken care of. Day of they did everything from setting up the center pieces and tables, to cleanup, bar tending, to serving a great meal that all of our guests loved. The food was delicious and we got so many compliments but the entire experience was BEYOND that. Starting at the ceremony they had pre wedding drinks available with water and apple cider that guests could get while waiting. After the ceremony (not even 5 minutes) we had waiters offering us appetizers while taking photographs because they wanted to make sure we tried everything. During cocktail hour, they had drinks prepoured so the waiting time was a lot less for guests. The waiters were on us all night making sure we had everything we could ever want or need. The service was so above expectation and all the waiters were so sweet and attentive. They were ready to adjust immediately when they heard we were moving speeches around to make sure the attention was on our MOH and Best Man. I also barely ate so they wrapped up a few different dinners for me to take back to the hotel. I was so hungry at the end so when I saw a huge catering tray at my sweetheart table I could've cried. Before the wedding, Rick even came to our house for our tasting and he made us so comfortable, gave us tips that we never would've thought of, helped with the timeline and just served us delicious food. 100% recommend. You can't go wrong.

The staff is amazing! They made me feel so comfortable that our special day would run smoothly. <3 The food was VERY delicious. Everyone was raving about the salmon! They brought us drinks and apps while we got our pictures taken so we didn't miss out on the cocktail hour. :) Lindsay was my go-to person who I could e-mail often and get a quick response. Rick Williamson, Lindsay and the wonderful staff at Williamson Caterers did a FANTASTIC job at our wedding last weekend. They were an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. My family and I felt listened to and valued as customers from our very first phone call and that level of care remained consistent throughout the entire process. Rick put us completely at ease throughout the entire planning process. He made himself available to us through phone conferences, emails, and food tastings, to to ensure that we felt confident that he understood exactly what we wanted and was going to make it happen. He went above and beyond, offering to communicate with my DJ, florist, etc. to make sure every detail of our wedding was perfect. That kind of individualized attention and service is so rare and absolutely did not go unnoticed. Rick runs a fantastic business and his love for what he does shows through in every detail. The food at our wedding was incredible and exactly what we wanted, and our guests are still calling us to rave about it. The staff was professional and thoughtful and did a wonderful job throughout the evening. I have no hesitation in saying that aside from the beauty of our venue (and of course, marrying my husband!), Williamson Caterers was by far the best part of my wedding. Williamson Caterers did an outstanding job both in coordination and service for our wedding on 7/21/18. All service attendants were courteous, attentive, and helpful! Williamson helped make our day a dream! We used them for our July 2018 wedding at Durham Hills Farm. When I first began researching Williamson, their website showed all the services they provide, different wedding packages, and prices! And their prices listed on their website are REAL, no surprises when you go to book with them. Right from the beginning of the booking , Lindsay was easy to communicate with, especially the weeks leading up to the wedding when you have a million questions. The quality of the service they provide the day of the wedding is top notch. Their wait staff is efficient and professional. They set up and clean up everything, and even help us move wedding decorations around as needed. Lindsay made sure the groom and I never went hungry and always had a drink in our hand. And most importantly, the food is AMAZING. We chose the BBQ buffet package, and no one was disappointed or hungry at the end of the night! There was a constant flow of passed hourdouvers, the main course was plate cleaning quality, and our guested loved the ice cream bar! If you are wise enough to choose Williamson for your big day, you will not be disappointed!

We used them at the Baldwin School and people are still commenting on how wonderful the food and service were the day of our wedding. They offer many price points and really work on accommodating all requests. I cannot say enough good things about Williamson’s! Lindsay and the whole staff made our wedding day go so smoothly and they just could not have done a better job. The food was amazing and we got so many compliments on it during the wedding and after. The wait staff brought us hors d'oeuvres down to the bridal suite during cocktail hour and were constantly checking in with me and my husband throughout the night to see if we needed drinks or anything else- we wanted for nothing! It even started raining at the end of our ceremony and they helped run umbrellas out to us! I cannot say enough great things about Rick Williamson, his team, as well as the coordinator Lindsay Showmaker. Rick & Lindsay met with both families for a food tasting, and helped us feel at home. They were more than willing to answer questions, and even connected us to a program "All Seated" that provided us a visual layout of the venue. This was a great asset when trying to decide on seating arrangements for the guests. This company met our every need from food selection, signature drinks, delicious appetizers( guests are still praising those beef tips), as well as the amazing desserts. The staff was always checking in to make sure both myself and husband had some type of food and drink during our busy evening. Rick was very respectful and mindful of those guests in attendance who needed special accommodations. If anyone is looking for an honest caterer who takes pride in their work, I would recommend Williamson Caterers.

Williamson's barbecue menu completely saved our butts. We were at a total loss on how to feed our massive wedding crowd on a budget and Williamson came through with an awesome, all-inclusive package. The fact that everything (linens! bar! tax & tip! the friendliest staff this side of the Mississippi!) came with the package meant way fewer details for us to track / manage / book. We have some big eaters in our crew but there was more than enough food to go around. Crowd favorites included the pulled pork, corn bread, and chicken & waffle bites. They made sure all our centerpieces were set out and did an amazing job arranging our homemade cookie display. There were a few small delays in email communication in the months leading up to the wedding and I felt like I frequently had to start the conversations about next steps. But overall, we had a positive experience with Williamson and would recommend working with them.

I used Williamson Caterers for my daughters baby shower which was hosted at home. They truly are full service catering, as I was able to relax and enjoy spending time with my guests while they set up, cooked everything fresh right then and there and cleaned up. The buffet was not only delicious but beautifully presented. I look forward to using them again this spring for my sons graduation party!

Having Williamson as our caterer was honestly one of the best parts of our wedding. From day one, they went out of their way to accommodate every need, question and concern. We hosted our wedding this summer at a family's farm and used Williamson Caterers. From start to finish I felt so relaxed and like everything was taken care of! They handled the tent rental, tables, chairs, linens, china- pretty much everything. My guests are still raving about the food and had such a great time. We used Williamson Caterers for our wedding at Brandywine Manor House. The food and service at our wedding were amazing! The waitstaff did a great job getting everyone food and making sure all the guests had drinks. I would have loved to give this company a better review, however the organization and management were terrible. We had setup 2 phone meetings with Rick and Lindsay prior to our wedding which were both forgotten. They arrived at 3PM when the wedding began at 5PM. The florist had to delay setting up because they had arrived so late. The biggest organizational mistake is their handling of money. My final check was cashed by one owner and over a month later the other owner came looking for it. Weddings are very stressful and catering companies not only have to have good food/service but also have to be organized and communicate well.

Williamson's catered our daughter's wedding at Brandywine Manor House. The planning and food tasting went very well. Rick was very pleasant to deal with. He also accommodated our special request for upgraded champagne, specialty beer, and a signature drink. Unfortunately, we had a couple glitches on the day of. They work with BMH a lot, so we expected it to be seamless. When we arrived (3 hours prior to the reception) I noticed the tables were placed incorrectly. When I mentioned this, I was told it would be fine and a gentleman came out from the kitchen and said they needed to get moving. There was plenty of time to make an easy fix (considering it was their mistake), but no one took the initiative to get it done. When we are paying for their service, I would expect it to be done the way we had planned it. Also, we had requested mini desserts, in lieu of cake, and an ice cream bar. The desserts were put out on a table in the back. Since the dessert was not brought to the tables, it would have been nice for the servers to let the guests know that dessert was out. Everyone saw it was there, so it was not a problem, but I felt it could have been handled more professionally. Hence, a 3 star rather than a five star review.

I could not be happier with our choice to use Williamson! Guests are still talking about the amazing cocktail hour, the food and presentation of the whole night! My husband & I were married this past June at Brandywine Manor House and used Williamson as our caterers. I cannot say enough amazing things about Rick & Lindsay! From the start Rick was amazing with coming right to my in-laws for a tasting before we booked. From there on out Lindsay answered every single one of my millions of questions and was absolutely my go-to. To say our wedding day wouldn't have been the same without her would be an understatement. I am very detail oriented and particular, Lindsay was on top of it all! From linens to chargers to our cocktail hour - everything was perfect. Our guests still talk about the amazing Hors D'oeuvre & our signature cocktails. To top it off we were so happy with the cost! I would highly recommend them.

Our New Years Eve wedding for our daughter could not have turned out better. Rick and his team were professional, efficient, friendly. As the mother of the bride, I didn't have to worry about a thing. The food was delicious, hot and plentiful. From the very beginning of planning ( when Rick did a tasting at our home) to the end of the night, everything was perfect. We didn't even consider another catered... no need after we tasted their food and a sampling of their service. Great night! We received tons of compliments. So many asked who was the caterer! We used Williamson catering for our August wedding and couldn't of been happier with our choice. Rick and his crew were professional and flexible. Rick traveled to my parents house for our tasting which was a treat. The cost was included in our down payment when we decided to book with them. We had 125 guests and were able to chose from a variety of food options and serving style within our budget. We chose a buffet style and were not dissappointed by the quality and quantity. Our guests loved our food and we did too!

We used Williamson Caterers to cater our wedding on 9/26/15. They were incredible!! We met with Rick because he was a preferred vendor for our wedding venue and now we understand why! Our guests have been raving about how delicious our cocktail hour and reception food was. We went with a buffet and I always think it is more difficult to serve delicious food that way...but Rick and Williamson Caterers pulled it off :) Rick was a joy to work with throughout the entire process. We were over an hour and a half drive from him...so he came to us for all our meetings! He came to our home for our first meeting and he even came to our home for our tasting which I thought was amazing service. He also allowed us to taste plenty of options...he has so many food options, especially when it comes to the appetizers and we wanted to try a lot to be sure! His packages are extremely flexible...you can create a package that has whatever you want and he is very flexible with making substitutes. He was also very flexible with me (bride). I am a picky eater so he made me a special salad and added egg to my families salad, etc. Even though he was feeding 200 people he still made sure to accommodate our specific requests! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this caterer. Rick, the owner, was amazing from the first time I spoke with him straight through our entire reception. Sharon was also fantastic with helping me hammer out details like specialty drinks and menu selections. Their staff was professional and everything went off PERFECTLY. The bartenders were quick with service, made delicious drinks, and remembered all the guests as they were ordering. The hors d’oeuvres were absolutely amazing, and all our food was delicious, especially the Chilean sea bass, which our guests are still talking about over a month later. I would not only use this company again for any future events, but I cannot imagine why people would ever go anywhere else! Thank you for an amazing day!

Literally from soup to nuts Williamson is amazing. The food is fabulous and Rick is not only personable but extremely responsive. As the sky opened up with torrential rains our outside cocktail hour quickly and efficiently moved inside. The service was excellent and the staff was very accommodating. We will most definitely use them again and again!

My Fiancee and I had a wedding planned for 2015 and unfortunately had to cancel since I'm from the UK and my Dad was taken ill and we knew he would not be able to travel to the US. We had already booked Rick after a great tasting he had done for us a few weeks before. We're sorry we were not able to follow through but he immediately offered a full refund which he was not obliged to do per the contract. Good quality food and a very genuine guy. We would recommend him to anyone we know.

I am so glad I picked Williamson Caterers for my wedding. Rick even came to my apartment to do a food tasting with by fiance and his parents. The food is AMAZING! Everyone at the wedding commented on how the beef was one of the best they had ever had and the mini desserts were incredible. The price is also a steal for the quality that you get. If I have to cater another event sometime, I'm definitely going to give them a call.

Williamson did a great job at our wedding. Rick was so helpful with all of the details leading up to the wedding (obviously related to catering, but was very helpful with all other details about the day). He was proactive about coordinating with our other vendors, which was so helpful for us as the wedding was at our house and had to coordinate with numerous vendors. Although we were pretty busy and didn't get to eat much, the guests complimented all of the food that was available (especially the potato martini bar!) My only wish would have been that we had some of the food packaged to actually enjoy for ourselves. Overall, Williamson was a pleasure to work with and very knowledgable about what they do and their food shows that!

Rick Williamson and his team are beyond fabulous! In all of the events we have hosted, I have never heard so many compliments from our guests remarking not only on the great food but the quality of the service. Sharon Lee was unbelievable throughout the planning process and the day of our daughter’s wedding Sharon’s concern for perfection was so evident and so much appreciated. Rick and Sharon were enthusiastic right from the start and provided so many helpful ideas and suggestions to enable us to achieve the exact look we wanted for our daughter’s themed wedding. The devil is always in the details and from suggesting the perfect linens and learning how to do “bunny fold” napkins to fine tuning her signature cocktail ingredients we were so pleased with the easy cooperation and the flawless execution of all of our requests. Williamson’s provides incredible value, a vast array of food options and a professional and courteous staff. We have used Williamson’s for three events and will always consider them our go-to caterer.

Williamson Caterers were amazing! Not only did they provide outstanding food and beverages for our wedding but they were also there to assist with wedding planning as well. I stressed over linen colors and they took the worry out of it for me. The food was trememdous especially the filet medallions with bernaise sauce hors d'oeuvres!!! Another great thing about Williamson Caterers was that there were no hidden costs. There was a price per person cost and everything was included (including bar items, alcohol, china, tips and taxes). It was such a pleasure working with Rick Wiliamson and his staff and would definitely recommend them for any of your catering needs.

I used Williamson Caterers for our Wedding at Brandywine manor House. Words can not express how thankful I am for everything they did to make my day beauitful in spite of the rain.They made modifications where needed and still kept everything beautiful. They found a place for all my little touches and kept my guests comfortable. The staff went above and beyond and there were nothing but compliments from my guests about the service and food. Gary and I are extremely thankful for them helping us through the rainy day (espically in the venues owners absence)

My venue had a list of preferred caterers that we had to use and Williamson Caterers was the only caterer listing willing to work with our budget. We removed aspects of the set menu that we didn't want and added other aspects that we wanted included in the price per person. I highly recommend Williamson for any of your catering needs.

Williamson Caterers were fabulous! They were able to create a menu that would fit our budget. I would recommend them to friends. They were very responsive whenever I had a question or I had another change. Pick Williamson, you won't be sorry you did.

My fiancee &amp; I initially went with Williamson because of their great food, great price, &amp; great reputation. The fact that we could do all of our rentals through them (tent wedding) was an added bonus. So, we booked all of our rentals 11 months in advance, including our tent because we'd heard so many horror stories about having to find a tent at the last minute. We were told we would have until Thursday morning before the wedding to decide if we wanted to use the tent. Things were fine &amp; went well until the Tues morning before the wedding when I got a call from our caterer demanding he had to know about the tent situation that day. I reminded him he'd told us Thursday &amp; said I would have to discuss with my fiancee (who was arriving late that night) before I could make that decision. So, I discussed with my fiancee that evening &amp; in the morning we decided to go with the tent. We called the caterer and he said everything was ok, they'd bring it by for delivery. HOWEVER, when they showed up for delivery, the delivery guys brought not 1 tent, but 2 tents of the wrong kind (for our venue we required frame tents &amp; they brought pole tents)! We asked them what they'd gotten from the caterer &amp; they showed us a diagram that was COMPLETELY wrong. So, we brought out our rental contract &amp; showed them what we'd reserved. They noted it &amp; left to go get the right tent. 15 minutes later, I get a call from the caterer saying he heard we'd sent the tents away &amp; when I explained the situation, he said that we had "waited too long" and there was no tent available for us. He had no response to the fact that we'd reserved the tent 11 months in advance, and my fiancee &amp; I spent several hours scrambling to find a tent at the last minute - exactly what we'd tried to avoid. The caterer offered no apology, and told my relatives that this was a "minor glitch" &amp; insinuated I was over-reacting. He did NOTHING to help us find a new tent. We were able to find a tent that worked for us - for an additional $800. We asked the caterer about a discount for either the rentals or food because of the fiasco, and he refused. The bottom line is, he wasn't honest about when we'd have to decide, he didn't bother to reserve us the tent or check up on the tent's availability, and when things started to go wrong, he did not communicate with us. Spend an extra few bucks per head on food &amp; buy yourself some peace of mind.

My experience with Williamson from the first meeting to the wedding was wonderful. They were professional, extremely accommodating, and well priced. The food was exceptional and many of our attendees commented on how good everything was. The "sweet table" was also a big hit. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
