Never planning a wedding before I really relied on Kandis for her knowledge and the most effective way to get everything of importance within our budget and time frame. Her knowledge and experience showed in not only her skills with the camera but with her communication and her ability to work under pressure. Wedding days are stressful and I was a mess. The first thing Kandis did was put her arms around me and tell me everything was going to go smoothly. We ended up running overtime with some of our timeline and Kandis stayed an extra 30 minutes without charge to make sure she got all the important parts. Her turn around time was fast and gallery we received was filled with a variety of images in both color and black and white. She gave us a variety of formal portraits and candids. A lot of detail pictures as well as things we didn’t even think about having photographed but we are so glad she paid attention to the small details. I am so glad we landed on her as our photographer and when my next three daughters gets married we will use her again.

feel the weight of responsibility as mother of the bride for the short comings of what was delivered at my daughters wedding and reception for the one lasting memory of her special day - the photos. Kandis was a minimum of 15 minutes late to the church which left everyone and everything feeling rushed just prior to walking down the aisle. The arrangements of people and photos was very disorganized for what the bride had requested as this was done by text message with Kandis prior to the wedding. Upon her arrival to the church all the same questions were asked again and then not many of the requests were followed. The photos finally received are beautiful. I have to mention though, that there are many repeats of the same pose, some just black and white or a change in zoom. The biggest issue was the early departure from the reception. No word or text saying there was any sort of issue with the mysterious “bee sting” just now being disclosed, or mention that she would be leaving several hours early. Not that night. Not the next day, or even the next week. My daughter went over a month with no response from Kandis. I had to reach out myself to inquire on delivery of the photos. In fact, my daughter had to finally research and find her personal social media page to get any sort of response to inquire what happened the night of the wedding and reception. In discussing this with another of her clients, there was also an early departure issue at their wedding as well. While there was a resolution reached between the parties, we would have much rather had photos of the events of the evening. The dance party, the guests at the reception, the bride and groom jumping into the pool. So many memories missed because our hired photographer was simply not there to capture the memories that we had planned to be able to save forever. Kandis has a great talent ~ and much room to grow and improve professionally. I would definitely recommend a great place to start would be checking in and out with your bride and those that have hired your services. Just a side note as well, it’s strange that there is really nowhere on her own websites that a client is able to leave a review. Only what she chooses to post. Please be aware.
