Wonder in Adagio

When we booked Sara and Mark for our wedding back in October, it was one of the best decisions we could have ever made. The attention to detail, creativity, and experience was nothing short of perfection. I still can’t stop staring at our photos! They captured every. single. thing we asked for, and more. We truly cannot recommend them enough!!

We are very happy with our engagement and wedding photos, as well as with the process in between. Sarah was on top of communication throughout the whole wedding planning and always put us first!

We could not have imagined our wedding day without Sara and Mark. After hitting it off at our initial consultation, we immediately felt relaxed and accepted by Sara and Mark. We are both a bit camera shy and they never once made us feel those nerves. The organization and time that went into really getting to know us individually, as a couple, and our love story, made our day that much better. It was evident that Sara and Mark love what they do; they have so much fun doing their job! Sara always knew what to say to make us naturally laugh, never making us look ‘staged.’ We received our sneak peek shortly after and were overjoyed at what they captured. Sara and Mark worked with us to find the perfect package to meet our needs while still staying within budget. Their team, Jenn and Tyler were fantastic. They went with the flow and even helped out with a few tree-shaking pictures to capture the beautiful spring colors! Between the 4 of them, there was always a camera in sight- this is EXACTLY what we wanted. After all, we want to relive this day for the rest of our lives. We could not imagine having anyone else capture the day like Wonder in Adagio did. Thank you for endless happy tears and memories. We are grateful for the friends we made out of you!

Sara Jane was our photographer for our 10/3/21 wedding, and WE THANK OUR LUCKY STARS she was! Professional, fun, and extremely knowledgable and experienced! If you know what you want every step of the way, fear not, Sara has you covered. If you have no clue and want advice/guidance, STILL FEAR NOT! - Sara has you covered there too. I say this because we had a mix of both; with some things, we knew exactly what we wanted, while other times, we wanted to leave it in someone else's hands. Sara was flexible and intuitive in that regard. I really can't say enough positive things, because she as a photographer was a 10/10 experience. I kid you not, we had 5 people approach us DURING OUR WEDDING to compliment our photographer! One friend wanted her card for his own family photo session. Others remarked how friendly she was, yet still "out of the way" when it came to the ceremony and such (as in not distracting etc., as I've heard can sometimes be the case - we wouldn't know haha!) Our photos are everything we wanted and more. THANK YOU SARA JANE, and to anyone considering choosing her, trust me, you can't do better than Sara Jane.

We went with Wonder In Adagio for both our engagement photoshoot and wedding day. Sara, Mark, and Jen were a pleasure to work with and are great at their jobs! We are not comfortable in front of cameras, but they made the whole process very easy and helped us forget we were even being photographed and recorded. The photos Sara and Jen captured were beautiful, and Mark is an extremely talented videographer. They do a great job of providing directions and reminders during the photo shoots to make sure everything looks natural. During the wedding ceremony and reception, we totally forgot they were even there taking pictures and video (which is a great thing!). We were pleasantly surprised that they had already produced a sneak peek video of our wedding day and ceremony by the time we were done eating dinner! We highly recommend Wonder in Adagio for your photo and video needs. They are very kind people and extremely talented. All of our loved ones were amazed at how well they captured our day and we will cherish all the photos forever.

It was so unbelievably special to have our dear friends capture our beautiful day. Sara and Mark were so attentive at our needs, and guided us every step of the way through our engagement and our wedding day. We absolutely LOVE all the pictures and video that were taken, and how they represent our relationship. We just recently got our wedding gallery back and let's just say there were happy tears shed. My husband and I searched hard for a truly excellent photography and videography team, and we found it! Sara and Mark were so wonderful to work with. Their style is very romantic and natural, which was exactly what we were hoping to find. Even from the beginning, they really listened to the vision and our hopes. They made us feel heard, comfortable, and confident that a very dynamic day would be something they could work with. Trust me when I say that planning a wedding through COVID was a CHALLENGE. They always made us feel like they could be flexible with the day and whatever we needed. I could not speak highly enough of their professionalism as well as their kindness. They really got to know us and showed us they cared about the things we cared about. They went above and beyond to make the day special and smooth. From late night schedule and strategy calls, to travel, to FaceTime, they were so responsive and reassuring. At our wedding they negotiated with a yacht owner so that we could take pictures on their private yacht. Then they put together a preliminary photo/video show to display during our reception, which our guests really loved. One of my favorite things about working with them was the engagement shoot. It included a photo and video session that was just stunning and it gave us a chance to get to know each other and get comfortable behind the camera. I had so many people text me to tell me that the photos from the engagement session were beautiful and that the video looked like a Chanel ad. The work we have seen from them has been phenomenal. If you want great work of real moments, and you want to work with two truly beautiful people. You found it.

Sara and Mark from Wonder in Adagio captured our wedding day better than we could’ve ever imagined! They both radiate positivity, creativity, and authenticity that truly reflects in their work. They made us “camera shy” individuals feel super comfortable in front of the cameras with their energetic and engaging personalities; their passion for what they do was apparent from the moment we met them! I CANNOT recommend Mark and Sara Jane enough!! Getting engaged and married during a global pandemic could be an absolute nightmare at times but Sara Jane and Mark were there every step and misstep of the way. Every upheaval of our dream day, they were there with suggestions, kindness, understanding and an innate ability to make each new plan even better than the last. They became much more than creative geniuses to help capture our love, they became friends. Now on to the job we actually hired them to do... ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING!! The day was nothing like we imagined, it was better. And every moment big and small were all captured exquisitely by Wonder in Adagio. Every day I watch and rewatch my video, stare at my photos and feel all the magic and love of that day all over again. The Best! No contest! I found Wonder in Adiago a year before my wedding. I knew exactly how I wanted my pictures to look. I knew I wanted our authentic selves to shine through. Sara and Mark did just that. They were able to read people and personalize it to you. They saw the connection and love my husband and I had even though we are not a PDA couple. We felt awkward and uncomfortable for our engagement pictures at first but they had us joking and laughing and soon it was just my fiancé and I. They were the best for our wedding. They simplified everything, no hidden costs, no you HAVE to do it this way. They recommended things but I did not feel pressured to do anything. They led the wedding day, keeping us on track. Both Sara and Mark have a eye for unique pictures and details. So many little details were caught that I didn’t even see myself Which were such special additions to the pictures/video. Our wedding video is like watching a movie. I am forever thankful that they were so easy to work with, that they didn’t make our wedding a cookie cutter wedding. I knew that they weren’t just thinking “ this shot works and I get paid” they are artists, visionaries and they are absolutely wonderful.

The Absolute Best! We hired Sara and Mark this past year from WIA to do our engagement, wedding, and film and we could not have been happier. Sara and Mark traveled all the way from NY to Baltimore where we live to shoot our engagement pictures. As soon as we met them, we knew that we made the right choice in a wedding documentary team! During the planning process, they were so helpful in creating a timeline that fit exactly how we wanted our day to go. We face timed with them a few times since we couldn't meet them in their studio and had such fun conversations every time! On our wedding day, everything went so seamlessly! They knew exactly how to tell you where to be and when, without being forceful or invasive. They captured our day perfectly and I cannot say enough kind things about not only their work, but them as people! Mark is an absolutely amazing videographer and our video perfectly captured who we are as a couple- and that is exactly what we wanted. All of my guests at my wedding kept saying how our photographers were amazing in capturing every moment- Mark even climbed on the windows of the barn to get the best shots! If you are thinking about hiring for photography and video you must work with Sara and Mark! The beauty of working with them, is that they work together perfectly and work together to create the best day for you! We absolutely LOVED our experience with WIA and hopefully we will get to work with them again soon!

My wife and I got married in October 2019. We started planning in November 2018 and from the beginning Sara and Mark were apart of it. They were so patient with us and explained everything in detail from day one on what to expect from the first minute we spoke right up until the last photo they took the day of our wedding. We have three boys and they included them into everything. They are extremely dedicated to making everything perfect from the engagement session to the wedding photos and the video. When we showed people our photos and then the video the response was incredible. The way they captured not just the love between my wife and I but between all five of us is something I could never explain. If you are looking for someone who is going to be there with you every step of the way and always respond to your questions, sit down with you for coffee when you have meetings, include you into their life like you are family and they are filming for their own family then this is who you want hands down!!
