Stunning place for an event! Such an amazing team to help with your big day!
The Woods was my first choice and I am so happy with that decision! I just recently had my wedding here and it was beautiful. I had so many guests tell me how much they loved the v...
enue. We definitely utilized all the space we could, using both the upstairs and downstairs as well as outside. We used only the preferred vendors by choice and they each had wonderful things to say about the woods. Our ceremony coordinator Erica was amazing and made sure everything I wanted was perfect. I am very controlling about how I like things and they were very easy to work with. I highly recommend the Woods!
My wedding here was a dream! The venue is gorgeous and had everything we needed. All of our guests are still complementing us on how smooth the wedding/reception went and how perfe...
ct it was. I planned the entirety of our wedding, and working with the staff here was great! They always answered my questions and were willing to talk and show me around anytime.
My only precaution would be to make sure you read through ALL of their policies and know exactly what you are getting. We didn't have any issues, but it could've put a damper on things if I would have overlooked some of the rules.
Overall, it was a great experience with them from start to finish. The day of the wedding the staff knew exactly what to do, and my husband and I knew we got our money's worth.
Thank you for helping make our dream become a reality!
The Woods on Ninth was a great venue for our daughter's wedding. Brett was super helpful and always prompt at returning calls and helping with details. We loved the stone patio a...
nd the outdoor lighting.
(It would be nice if they offered ivory linens as black is the only option or renting from another vendor.)
We had a great experience at The Woods on Ninth and would recommend it.
This is a beautiful venue, I mean stunning I loved the look of my wedding day! It's just a shame the staff sucks and are absolutely terrible!!! The host they have us for the night ...
that was supposed to watch our gifts and greet the guest was MIA the whole night and when she was around she was completely disrespectful. The manager Brett has zero customer service skills and puts so much stress on you that isn't needed at all. He talks down to you and when you bring in things you'd like to have on your wedding day like linens that aren't black he makes it a huge deal and makes you feel stupid for not using their funeral black wedding linens that they provide. The owners did an amazing job with the look of the venue, I just wish they would spend more time filling this stunning venue with helpful and professional staff to complement this gem of a wedding venue. Long story short don't have your wedding here the staff SUCKS!!!!!!!!!
The center its self was beautiful. They didn't clean up all the dead leaves out side it would have looked lot better if they took care of the garden area. They provided tables and ...
chairs and basic linens but didn't have white as a basic lien choice just black. They also have a sound system to use and easels for pictures.
This was a lovely venue. However, my experience with this venue was not at all as I expected and hoped for. There was excessive turnover between employees which was blammed as the ...
reason for lack of communication between employees. We were told many things that were taken back a month before the wedding when we had now way out. The day of was a disaster thanks to their employees not doing as they should have. An hour before the ceremony, they had not set anything up and my family was forced to run around wearing themselves out and ruining their look to take care of things. My other vendors were frustrated and held off from doing their work as a result of their lacking. I would not recommend anyone to this venue due to the experience we had with them.
While my wedding was beautiful and full of everything that I wanted, it was hard to find out what was going on at the woods... i had the placed booked for a year and a half and the...
y went through 6 managers by the time of my wedding day. I even got to meet the new manager on my wedding day.... be careful what you wish for ladies if you love this venue, just make sure that you can count on the caterer (Cosmopolitan Catering) YES! Mark was great with his staff even though everything was so confusing. beautiful building worth the price and worth the reception, but not worth the bridezilla headache to get there!
We did our cerimony and reception there, and it was so smooth and wonderful! Our coordinator that they provided was fabulous. Some are better than others but they worked it all our...
in the end and it could not have been more fabulous
Overall my wedding day went better than I had antisipated... BUT we had to work hard to get what we wanted. There was a lot of employee turn over from the time we scheduled to the...
actual event, during which there was a lot of "he said, she said" with the event planners, promises were made that we were told they couldn't do. The inhouse caterer had been let go, so when it came to the food, they had changed the menu pricing and amount of food, we were originally told were were getting one thing and came to find out we actually paid for something else and so because of that we weren't going to get enough food to feed our 300 estimated guests that we had already paid for. It just felt like they didn't fully disclose what we were REALLY paying for. Also, the night staff (the event coordinater) acted like she didn't know what she was doing, which ended up with me telling her when we had to cut the cake, do the bouquet toss and the first dance, which was a little annoying, but it worked out just fine.
In the end, we were able to work out all the issues and we were really impressed with the food, decor and the whole event. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was and how yummy the food was! With all the struggles to get there, we were thrilled to hear all the compliments! I think now that they have a more reliable staff, the same issues won't come up again.
My wedding coordinator was wonderful, she walked me through things and I never felt rushed or pushed into anything. They made sure my day was beautiful.
This was the most beautiful place to get married and have a reception at. Everything was perfect for my big day and I couldn't have asked for more. The only complaint I would have ...
is that the stereo system messed up and kept playing the same 20 songs on my IPod. Other than a little thing, everything else was great.
