Where to begin…I could write a novel about my love for Malinda and Your Dream Bridal. It was everything I wanted my shopping experience to be. Malinda took the time to listen and understand what I was looking for. I ended up wanting to add on to a dress and she provided options to help my dream come to fruition. Not only did I get my dream come true wedding dress, I also got my veil and endless amounts of support. Malinda has a heart of gold and wants the best for everyone and will work with you to see it come to fruition.
The absolute best wedding dress shopping experience I had, and I can't recommend this place enough!
Before Malinda, I had gone to several different other locations around Boston... one was pretty good and had some decent dresses, one couldn't care less that I was trying to buy a wedding dress and largely left me to figure it out alone, and then the rest were similarly mediocre experiences and just weren't the quality of dresses I was looking for (they felt more like prom dresses). I didn't fall in love with dresses at any of these places, and trying to wade through options to find something okayish was frustrating and I often felt pressure to figure it out already.
But the experience at Your Dream Bridal with Malinda was so incredibly positive and stress free. There was no rush, no impatience, just thoughtful questions to help guide me and genuine support and enthusiasm while I tried different dresses. You get the place to yourself and her undivided attention. Malinda is so good at getting a sense of you and your style that it didn't take her long to zero in on a few winners for me. She actually helped me combine two dresses since I loved the skirt on one and the bodice on the other and it was possible to order the one dress as just a skirt to layer over the other dress and truly create my dream dress. I was beyond thrilled with my dress and every interaction/part of the process with Malinda. You won't find a better wedding dress shop or experience than Your Dream Bridal with Malinda
Malinda at Your Dream Bridal is a diamond in the rough! She truly is what other brides have said...the wedding dress whisperer! I bought my dress last Spring 2022 at Your Dream Bridal - Malinda is extremely knowledgeable about the industry, maintains a calm demeanor so it's a very low-stress/enjoyable shopping experience, and has such an eye for style and design and offers up ideas that you may not think of yourself but then fall in love with. She only sources dresses from designers that offer the timeless and classy wedding look that so many of us desire, thus, the selection in store is fabulous.
I currently live in the UK and following my initial visit to Your Dream Bridal, Malinda was so helpful with all the questions (and I had many!) that I inquired about regarding the dress and "look" and was always super responsive. She made sure we worked through exactly what it was I was looking for to be able to customize the dress accordingly with the designer. I really trusted her and she even recommended an atelier in the UK for my dress alterations which was a great experience as well.
I just got married in May and even up until the end I was still messaging Malinda for her input on the alterations to ensure it was suitable to her given she has a great eye for detail and she really cares about how the dress looks and feels for her brides! She was even kind enough to FaceTime me to walk through the questions I had.
I looked at tons of dresses in London, NYC, and Boston and am so pleased that I found the perfect dress for me at Your Dream Bridal! I can't thank Malinda enough for working with me to find the best look and contributing immensely to making me feel like a beautiful bride on my wedding day - I loved my dress so much! I can easily recommend Malinda and Your Dream Bridal with 5 stars to any bride out there looking to say "yes" to the dress!
Malinda was the wedding dress guru I desperately needed! I'm not a "natural shopper" and can be very indecisive, so I was prepared to have trouble picking a dress. I arrived at Dream having visited a couple other shops already, feeling as overwhelmed and uncomfortable as I had anticipated. Malinda changed all that! She knew exactly what questions to ask and what to have me try on to narrow down what I liked, and I ended up with a dress that I love. I don't think I could have found my own way to that dress, and yet I can't imagine getting married in anything different! My experience at Dream totally exceeded my expectations. Malinda at Your Dream Bridal is SOOO knowledgable. I felt very comfortable and felt like a learned a lot about bridal gowns as well. She quickly honed in on my style and ended up suggesting the gown I chose! It's gorgeous! (As were many of her other gowns.)

Working with Malinda at Your Dream Bridal was amazing all around! I had visited a few different bridal stores before finding Your Dream Bridal, and I could not find a dress that felt right. I felt overwhelmed and confused, but Malinda put me at ease and paid close attention to what I was looking for and how I was feeling after trying on each dress. We ultimately brought my dream dress to life by custom making it and combined the bodice of one dress to the skirt of another by the same designer. My dress would not have existed if I hadn’t worked with Malinda to custom design it! We were also able to have it made to measure so it fit my exact body proportions which is a huge plus being on the shorter side and the standard size proportions were always a bit off when trying on gowns. I’m so thankful for my experience working with Malinda and Your Dream Bridal and I cannot recommend her highly enough!
Wonderful experience buying my wedding dress with Malinda! After visiting a few shops downtown, Malinda put me at ease immediately and made me feel very comfortable. She takes the time to learn about what you are looking for and doesn't rush you while she helps you look. I can't say enough positive things about my experience!
Working with Malinda was SO fabulous and I recommend Your Dream Bridal to every bride that I know! From start to finish she personalizes every part of the process -- I bought my dress at the height of COVID, and she still made me feel so taken care of AND safe the whole time.
Before my visit, I filled out a fun style questionnaire and had a zoom call with her to start exploring my favorite styles. During the visit, my sister and closest friends were able to zoom in to a HUGE screen and experience all the fun with me from afar. I had visited other bridal salons before Your Dream Bridal, but I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. Malinda narrowed in on my specific preferences after just a few dresses and ultimately she suggested working with a bridal designer to combine one dress's silhouette with another's fabric! Every designer that Malinda stocks can be customized in this way, and I was SO pleased with the idea and the outcome! I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Malinda and Your Dream Bridal. By the time I made it to Your Dream Bridal I had tried on dozens of dresses and I was feeling overwhelmed by all the options and opinions. I went to Your Dream Bridal because they carried dresses from a designer I knew I liked. Malinda was able to pick up on what I liked in a dress and helped me find a few options that fit my likes. She has a really cool set up that allows you to video call in friends and family if you want so it feels like they're there! I also appreciate that she takes appropriate covid precautions to keep herself/her family as well as her customers and their families safe. Would recommend to anyone!
I cannot recommend Your Dream Bridal enough. As someone who was nervous to go dress shopping, learning from and working with Malinda to find the perfect dress for me and my wedding was a wonderfully smooth process. The private shopping experience means you and your guests are the only people in the store with Malinda – creating an environment in which you are not comparing yourself or the dresses you are trying on with anyone else. This intimate, curated experience was one I did not realize would be so important to me until after I had had it. Malinda was patient with me and my guests, listening to what we were saying, asking the right questions, and pulling beautiful options to find what I was looking for. Malinda knows so much about all the beautiful gowns and designers she carries, her guidance through the selection and purchase process made sure we were getting exactly what we wanted.

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Malinda and the Your Dream Bridal experience. I was overwhelmed by the idea of shopping for my wedding dress - I did not have a strong vision of what I wanted and had absolutely no idea where to start. Malinda’s patience, knowledge, and styling expertise made me feel so comfortable, and ultimately led me to my dream dress! The initial appointment was seamless - she pulled a dozen dresses in an intentional order, encouraging me to give honest feedback of each dress to help narrow down the look I wished to achieve. Malinda has made an honest effort to get to know me, and has been wonderful and responsive throughout the entire process. (Side note: she is also super knowledgeable and connected with other professionals in the industry, and has offered me great recommendations and advice in so many areas besides the dress itself!) Malinda is a phenomenal stylist. But even more than that when you are in her Boutique, you are the only bride and her focus is amazing. This was my first experience trying on wedding gowns and she listened to me adapted immediately. Never rushed, she made the experience wonderful. I purchased my gown from Malinda for my June 2022 wedding and could not be happier and more excited. Every time I emailed her with a question her response was immediate. Never for one second did I second guess or doubt my decision. I gained a tremendous amount of confidence working with her. Malinda is the absolute best in my opinion. Malinda's Your Dream Bridal is absolutely beyond compare, and I cannot recommend this wonderful bridal boutique with any more enthusiasm. I had an atypical dress experience, but Malinda made it feel special and absolutely stress-free. I started my wedding dress search on the opposite side of the country, had to move in the middle, and then wanted to order my dress from a boutique more local to my new home. I only picked Your Dream Bridal because they were the only local boutique that could order the dress I had chosen back in CA, and I had no one with me through the trying/ordering process, but I was so pleasantly surprised by how Malinda still made the process feel special, and romantic, and just so easy and confidence-building. She is so knowledgeable, well-connected with local seamstresses, and an all-around lovely person. I have visited SO MANY bridal boutiques all over the place with lots of different atmospheres and price points, and Your Dream Bridal was hands-down the best experience I had anywhere. Trust Malinda with your dress-search, and trust me: you will not regret it!

Your Dream Bridal was such a wonderful experience. Malinda's expertise and guidance in finding the right dress made it such a fun appointment. And one family member could join through Zoom making it even more special! The dresses she has in store are clearly curated with quality and integrity in mind and I was so happy to find my dress here! We had the entire shop to ourselves and even were able to come back last minute when we were torn between another dress. We never felt pressured to buy anything on the spot but rather Malinda was dedicated to helping me find a dress even if it wasn't from her boutique.
Shopping at Your Dream Bridal was an incredible experience! Dream bridal was very good to me for a last minute appointment. I had my eye on a dress and it got shipped to her store so I was able to try it on. I fell in love with it and Malinda was very knowledgeable and accommodating to my custom dress request. Highly recommend !
Malinda at Your Dream Bridal was a dream to work with! She offers a highly personalized and private experience that I truly appreciated, especially compared to the big name shops in downtown Boston who never even asked me what I was looking for in a dress and rushed me in and out. Malinda put in immense effort, starting with an incredibly comprehensive style survey, to understand my likes and dislikes, concerns, and my vision for both my wedding generally and the dress itself. She was also incredibly helpful and communicative ahead of my appointment in pulling dresses I knew I wanted to see as well as with very safe and clear covid policies and expectations. In my appointment, Malinda was no nonsense in the best way and helped me to figure out exactly what I liked by narrowing things down to one variable at a time (this fabric or that, this neckline or that, this skirt or that, texture, etc.). She is so knowledgeable about her designers as well and what can be altered, changed, or combined to truly make your dream dress. She also only works with designers who can customize a great deal and have production all in one place (saving the headache and stress of concerns about international shipping and supply chain issues especially in covid). Malinda was incredibly helpful and a consummate professional, her store and stock is beautiful, and I never felt pressured to make decisions faster or buy that day. I will be recommending her shop to any Boston area bride!
Malinda is truly the best. She was so professional and kind and kept the appointment moving but not rushed, which is no small feat when managing people who attended my appointment both in person and via Zoom. She has amazing taste and was able to find me my dream dress by modifying the sleeves at the designer level and pairing it with the most amazing veil I have ever seen. I went to other bridal salons as well, and they weren't even in the same league. Also very COVID-safe! I would recommend her to everyone.

Malinda is incredible. We met through the wedding industry, I'm a wedding planner and now get to plan my own wedding. Finding a dress was the one area of planning that I was feeling super anxious about. Malinda made me feel so comfortable and excited to try on dresses for the first time. I loved that I was the only bride in the store for my appointment, the whole experience was so personalized. The experience that Your Dream Bridal provides is truly unique. The first dress that Malinda put me in was my dress. Between her detailed pre-appointment questionnaire, sharing my Pinterest board with her, and really getting a great read on me at the start of the appointment, she was able to pull my dream dress right away and totally nailed it. She listened carefully and educated me on all the different facets of the dresses I tried on. I love that the designer of my gown is based in the US and that we were able to add some customizations to fit my style. Malinda is so generous with her time and extensive knowledge, she really walks you through all of the details and makes you feel so confident about your investment. She's an absolute pro and the person you want by your side when selecting your dream dress. I highly recommend Your Dream Bridal! I was super nervous about trying on dresses and Malinda made me feel comfortable throughout the process. She really understood my style and was very patient until we found the perfect dress. I honestly cannot recommend her enough- she is amazing!
The experience of going here is as awesome as it sounds; having the store to yourself with your guests and one on one time with Malinda is amazing. She's very thorough with the process from start to finish. She tells you how to prepare (send her pictures of dresses and wear the right undergarments). She helps pick it, size you, find a reputable seamstress, and helps you get it cleaned after. During the session I didn't really like any dresses I thought I would. She pulled one out that I was unsure of, but ended up loving except a couple things. After telling her I wanted a bit more bling and a more conservative neckline for the ceremony, she had me add a belt and a lace overlay. I was afraid it might look piecemeal, but after putting it together it looked like that's how the dress came. It made it feel 100% my own (I'm sure someone could have come up with the combination, but it felt unique to me!) I'm glad she has the experience to know what's goes well together and what dresses to suggest to someone who may not know what they want. I received a ton of compliments on my dress. (I mean, of course) but most importantly it really fit me and my husband loved it.
I found Your Dream Bridal on a whim while I was home for the holidays - I was feeling pretty anxious about finding a gown as I had already been to several other “specialty” boutiques including L’Elite on Newbury street and was so disappointed with my experiences.... Malinda at Your dream Bridal was/ is amazing. She is so incredibly knowledgeable about the wedding gown industry, the designers she carries, and the process of finding the perfect gown for your body type and desires. I’ve been blown away by how responsive she has been throughout the process since I bought my Lea Ann Belter gown, especially during the chaos of COVID-19. More over when I received my gown I had some concerns about the fit and the fabric, I contacted Malinda about my concerns - she got back to me within minutes, she contacted Lea Ann Belter and found an incredible seamstress and boutique central to my current location as I am no longer local to Boston. I can’t speak highly enough of my experience with Malinda. If you’ve been looking for someone to help you figure out what you want in your wedding dress as well as teach you about the nuances of the gown industry, this is your place!!
Highly recommend making an appointment with Malinda! Your Dream Bridal was the second (and last) salon that I visited. I had been to another bigger store first and really thought I had a good experience there; that is, until after I could compare it with my visit with Malinda. She spent a really long time with me and let me try on several (maybe a dozen?) gowns. What sets Malinda apart to me is how insightful she is with the questions that she asked about how I felt in and what I liked about each gown I tried on. I can be a somewhat indecisive person and knew that I wouldn't have an "oh my god, this is my dress!" moment, but I did leave (and am still) feeling confident that we found the perfect dress for me.
Another great benefit is that some of the designers she carries allow for customization (ie. changing fabric, omitting an applique) of their dresses. I can be kind of picky on things, so this was an excellent option for me. Your Dream Bridal is a beautiful space and I really appreciated having a private experience with my group and Malinda's one-on-one attention.

Dream bridal provided an outstanding experience. Malinda was very welcoming to me and my guests. She created a comfortable and fun environment. She listened to what I wanted and had a systematic approach to determining what I truly liked in a dress. Her selection was diverse and beautiful and I left with my dream dress!
Malinda also provided assistance with the next steps. I am so thankful that I shopped with Malinda. She has been a great partner through COVID-19 and is working very hard to make sure I have my dress in time and anything else that may be needed. I'm so grateful for the wedding dress shopping experience I had at Your Dream Bridal and for the opportunity I had to work with Malinda. Growing up in the area, I drove by the boutique and admired the beautiful dresses from afar for as long as I can remember. When I got engaged, I was eager to schedule an appointment at YDB - and it far surpassed the vision I had for my dress shopping experience. All appointments at YDB are private, one-on-one sessions with Malinda - an expert in the wedding dress industry. Before my appointment, Malinda sent an email to guide my expectations and ensure I was prepared to get the most out of my session. She also reviewed my Wedding Dress Pinterest page - and identified the attribute of dresses that I was drawn to. When I arrived for my first appointment, Malinda welcomed me into her beautiful shop; she took the time to "get to know me" - and understand my wedding vision, theme, and style. Malinda pulled dresses for me; she was knowledgeable and informed, guiding me on customizations, alternations, and recommended adjustments. Given that it was my first dress shopping experience, I felt obligated to try other wedding dress boutiques - needless to say, nothing compared! In other stores I was met with uneducated employees, an overcrowded space with other brides, racks of worn dresses, and pressure to make a purchase. It was an easy decision to go back to YDB for my gown - I couldn't wait to meet with Malinda again, someone I trusted throughout the process. To top it off, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Malinda voluntarily rush ordered my dress at her own expense. Throughout the entire process, Malinda has been attentive, supportive, and engaged. I cannot wait to refer friends to YDB, see Malinda work her magic, and visit with her again.
Dream Bridal was just that - an absolute daydream. I went into the experience knowing EXACTLY what I wanted. Malinda hand selected dresses that pulled from my inspiration that directly led me to THE DRESS. Malinda's timeless shop was the perfect atmosphere for this intimate experience. I loved being the only people there without the distraction of others- we had Malinda's undivided attention which made it even more special. I have the best dress ever for the best day ever!
Malinda was AMAZING! At the start of the appointment, she listened to what I was hoping for in a dress and was able to pull out additional details that guided us to the perfect one. Everything about my experience was perfect! I am so happy that I went to Your Dream Bridal and purchased my dream dress. Malinda, the salon owner, is super professional and very knowledgeable.
I love that every appointment is private and the entire salon is available just for you and your guests. This was my first experience trying on wedding dresses and I didn't know what I wanted. Malinda was patient and helpful, finding dresses that I asked for and others that she thought would fit my venue and style. It's very clear that she knows her stuff and honestly wants each bride to find her perfect dress. She asked important, big-picture questions that turned my indecisiveness into a vision that I had not been able to verbalize or describe.
Malinda is punctual in responding to appointment requests and emails. She did not pressure me into buying a dress at my first appointment and was very transparent about what dresses were in and out of my budget. I am so happy that I came back to Your Dream Bridal and bought my dress from Malinda. I got a beautiful Martina Liana sample right off the rack that was in excellent condition and allowed me to stay in budget!
Malinda is incredible!! Her store is awesome! She spent a lot of time getting to know me and my style, and then pulled the perfect dresses! The first dress she put me in was my dream dress -- after trying on 5 or 6 other dresses, I kept going back to the first dress. While Malinda doesn't pressure you into purchasing from her, her environment was perfect for taking a moment to make sure I was making the right choice and felt comfortable. A 10/10 to Malinda and her store!
