Owner and instructor Lindsay Benay has the experience and expertise to teach students of all levels as they make wedding memories on the dance floor. Lindsay began her career in dance in 2009 and later picked up ballroom style in 2011. After a rigorous six months of training, she became an instructor and studio manager. She has performed across the globe on stage and in competitions both solo and with a partner. Lindsay’s diverse background and passion for sharing her love of dance inspired her to choreograph bespoke routines for wedding couples. Lindsay has carefully curated a team of professional instructors for Your First Dance LA. They feature a variety of packages based on your skill level and how elaborate you would like your first dance to be. Choose from basic lessons for an elegant and effortless routine or up to 20 if you want to show off your moves. Your instructor will incorporate your music selection into your choreography, and they can offer advice if you are unsure of your song. You can also avail of a professional video of your final routine with this company. Policies ​ Thank you for considering Your First Dance LA to be a special part of your big day! As a small business it is of upmost importance that all parties involved are treated with respect and consideration regardless of age, race, gender, etc. We have the right to deny service to anyone for any reason. ​ Our cancellation policy is as follows: Cancellations and rescheduling of lessons must be done 24 hours prior to the day of the scheduled lesson. If cancellations are not made within this time- frame the lesson will still be charged at the per session rate. ​ All packages purchased are final sale. No refunds will be granted for any reason. ​ All packages expire 6 months after date of purchase.
