Brian Kelly is the founder and CEO of The Points Guy (TPG). In 2010, he launched the brand, which today is the leading digital resource for all things points, loyalty programs, credit cards, miles and travel.
Brian is a dad of two. He is also the published author of the 2025 book, How to Win at Travel.
Experience
Brian is the General Manager of Red Ventures, which purchased The Points Guy in 2017. He started his dream website while recruiting for Morgan Stanley, where he was constantly flying or traveling to source talent.
Education
Brian received his Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Economics from the University of Pittsburgh.

- Brian regularly appears on segments for the Today show, CBS This Morning, Good Morning America and more. He’s also been featured in The New York Times, Variety and other national outlets.
- Brian currently serves as a committee member for Rainbow Railroad and a global ambassador for PeaceJam. He is also co-chair of the Gbowee Peace Foundation Leadership Council.
- He is a goalkeeper for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
