Miles Stiverson has spent years perfecting digital content strategy and climbing the managerial ranks of prominent brands. He spent seven years working in various positions for The Knot and has since worked for Viggle, Allure, and Travel + Leisure. Miles currently oversees Meredith Corporation’s Travel & Luxury Group as its Executive Director of Content Strategy and Digital General Manager.
Experience
Miles started his career as a Research Editor for Maxim Goes to the Movies. He was then hired by The Knot as a Researcher fact-checking the national and regional issues of the magazine. After eight months Miles was promoted to Assistant Online Editor and later Online Editor. In these positions he wrote content for TheKnot.com and The Knot magazine. Miles was then promoted again to Senior Online Editor of The Knot. Finally, from 2009 to 2011 Miles served as The Knot’s Site Director. He was the editorial lead for The Knot’s award-winning iPad application. After seven years with The Knot, Miles became an Editorial Director for Viggle, a mobile app that enhances television programs with content and games. Miles then moved into Digital Director positions with Allure.com and later Travel + Leisure. After over two years with Travel + Leisure, Miles was promoted to Executive Director of Content Strategy and Digital General Manager of Meredith Corporation’s Travel & Luxury Group which includes Travel + Leisure, Food & Wine, and Departures.
Education
Miles received his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Metropolitan Studies from New York University.
