Experience
Morgan has worked in the wedding industry for more than seven years, and has more than 10 years experience working in editorial and service journalism. Just a few weeks after graduating from the University of Maryland, Morgan moved to NYC and got her professional start at Every Day with Rachael Ray magazine as an editorial assistant and then assistant editor, managing columns like Supermarket Smarts and Pet Project. From there, Morgan joined People magazine as its Associate Food & Lifestyle Editor, writing daily (sometimes hourly!) news stories on everything from a celebrity’s wedding cake to Oreo’s latest flavor to hit the shelves.
After dipping her toe in bridal at People with celebrity wedding coverage, Morgan was hooked. She went on to become the Digital Editor at Brides in 2015, managing day-to-day editorial production, freelance contributions, celebrity content and more.

Important Questions from The Knot
Best advice for to-be-weds?
After you share your first kiss during the ceremony, before walking back up the aisle together as a newly married couple, take a moment to pause together at the altar and look at all the friends, family and loved ones cheering you on in support. There’s no better feeling.
What’s your all-time favorite wedding song?
"Proud Mary," the Tina Turner cover, specifically. There’s nothing better than grooving to that build up on the dance floor!
Dream celebrity wedding guest?
Sam Smith, just so they could sing the most beautiful tear-inducing first dance song known to man. Plus, I’m sure they'd be a fun party guest, too!
Best wedding after party snack?
Cookies, no question. At my wedding, I served chocolate chip cookie sandwiches with buttercream frosting in the middle, and I think it might be my proudest moment.
