I'm Alexa, bridal, celebrity, and event makeup artist and makeup teacher in NYC. Born as the product of a hairstylist and sculptor, I have forever been conditioned to view the world through beauty and art. Makeup is my art form that I use to reveal a light within a person. I believe it's not about painting on a face, it's about using this art to enhance features and smiles. When I was young, I was obsessed with movies and TV shows with total makeover "transformations"... Cinderella, The Princess Diaries, What Not to Wear... The coolest part of these transformations for me was the realization that these makeovers were transforming these people from the inside. It was like magic- what a good makeup and hair could do to provide the confidence to step into a new role as a human being. To take on life in a different way. I am passionate about evoking a new sense of confidence within my brides to allow them to live the best day of their life completely fearless. My team and I pay special care and attention working with each one of our brides, pairing your vision and our professional expertise to give you a customized, tailored look that you truly feel comfortable and like you in. We want your makeup to reflect the best version of you and whatever the story or vision is that you want to play a part in for the day. We value skin that looks like skin and enhanced eyes that pop. I contacted Alexa for a trial relatively close to my wedding, and she listened to exactly what I was looking for and achieved a natural, dewey look where I felt like a more beautiful version of myself. Alexa took notes after the trial and achieved the same look on the wedding day - but even better! At the wedding, my makeup stayed for the entirety of the evening - and I barely needed touch-ups done before and after the ceremony. As someone who typically wears just tinted moisturizer and lip balm, I didn't always have the right language to articulate what I wanted, but Alexa was super helpful and patient. Our trial was a great balance between her listening to me and looking at my inspo photos, and her relying on her knowledge and experience to offer personalized suggestions and tips. I wish I could post a photo here! Not to mention, it held up against the sudden Montauk mist that descended on the ceremony! My friends and family, who had their makeup done by Alexa, were equally infatuated with their looks.

ing day. I met Alexa when I did my makeup trial 5 months before my wedding. She was the first and only makeup artist I met with and I chose her and never looked back! She listened to each of my bridemaid’s visions for their makeup and did exactly what they asked. She helped me set up the perfect schedule for getting makeup finished timely and even with the time constraints, she never rushed and took her time with each and every person. She even traveled to my house and stayed with us until the photographer showed up for pictures to make sure no touch ups were needed!
