Olive and Patty know their stuff and were very helpful in educating us about everything needed to host a 200 person wedding. The food was delicious, all of our guests were raving about it.

I would recommend casual gourmet to any friend, stranger, family member for any catering need. Mary was absolutely amazing. From the very beginning, to our food tasting, to our peak event rental order, to the day of coordination. Not only was the coordination and organization of our wedding day amazing, but the food was delicious. Many of my wedding guests came up to me and raved about how delicious their meals were. And not to mention our wedding cake! They were able to encompass my vision so perfectly! From coordination, to service, to food, and everything in between- casual gourmet has you covered.

When we started planning our wedding, everyone told my husband and I to hire Casual Gourmet. It was the best advice we got! Olive is exceptional. She (and Patty) is highly organized, communicative, and practical— her advice and guidance throughout our wedding process kept us sane, on budget, and prepared for everything. She knew exactly which vendors to recommend, when to sequence our first dance and cake cutting, and even exactly what kind of lighting, microphones, chairs and tables we would need for our reception and cocktail hour! On the day of our wedding, Olive and Patty were exceptional coordinators. They ensured each vendor knew what to do and when, they kept our reception moving, and I didn’t worry about a single thing (nor did my loved ones)! And, the Casual Gourmet food is really delicious! Our guests were raving about the appetizers, our elegant plated dinner, and our gorgeous cake! Working with Olive and her team will keep your planning as low stress and enjoyable as wedding planning can be! And your wedding day will be seamless and delicious!

The absolute best decision ever made was booking with Casual Gourmet, Mary and the rest of the team! They ( Mary) made the wedding be as perfect as ever. I don’t think I was too much of a particular bride, but Mary made the vision in my head come to life. My family who traveled in from out of town ( the U.S.) was raving about her professionalism, dedication, care and said if they could book her in Jamaica they would. The Casual Gourmet are true professionals who made us feel right at home. We knew we were in the right hands from the start. Olive captured our vision and executed with an exemplary staff. Their service was impeccable, the food was remarkable, and the presentation represented who we are and everything we wanted. Every detail was layed out with excellent care and the process was seamless. They were communicative and responsive - always working with expertise and kindness. CG did not disappoint and we would recommend them without doubt.

From first meeting to event clean-up, Casual Gourmet was top notch. We had our event at a private residence and given some ongoing construction leading up to the event, it was challenging to pinpoint how everything was going to come together until the very end. Mary, and the entire Casual Gourmet team, worked with us at every bend to make sure everything went off without a hitch. The food was excellent and the service top notch day of. Highly recommend!

If you need a caterer, Casual Gourmet is the team to go with! Working with Mary and her team for our wedding was the greatest decision we ever made! With their variety of food options and knowledge of what was in season for our date, we created a killer menu. We had a raw bar, a great buffet of options from fish to beef and great passed appetizers. Mary was always on time to our meetings, very responsive to every email, and even came to our rehearsal walkthrough so everyone was prepared on the actual day. Mary and her team MADE OUR DAY! Everything was perfect and we couldn’t have done it without them!

We worked with the team at Casual Gourmet for our wedding in June 2023. Mary, Olive, and the entire team were great to work with. They were very helpful coordinating our wedding day, and planing in the lead up. Mary helped us coordinate with all our other vendors to develop a schedule and ensured everything went smoothly. The extended team of chefs, wait staff, and bartenders were all very accommodating to and professional with our guests. The team has a lot of experience with a range of venues and vendors across the Cape, which was a great resource for us. The food at our event was good, especially the appetizers.

Casual Gourmet made our wedding cake for ~90 guests. They were super responsive and easy to work with. They have a to-go cake tasting option which was super cute--they give you a slice of 9 or so flavor combos in a to-go box, which made for a nice picnic date with my fiance. Later, we gave them a Pinterest image for inspiration, and they were able to almost exactly replicate it! It looked stunning and more importantly, tasted amazing. Unfortunately, they didn't have delivery available for our date so we had to pick up the cake ourselves.

We hired Casual for our Highfield Hall wedding and they crushed it from day one. We were able to customize our menu with the many options they offer to create a menu perfect for us. Ellen is such a delight and you want Olive on your team, everything was thorough and coordinated perfectly. People were raving about the appetizers, dinner and dessert was delicious! We also hired them for brunch and went a bit off menu, it was a great send-off for our guests. A huge thanks to the Casual team!!

The team at Casual Gourmet is everything you could want in a wedding caterer, coordinator, and staff and so much more. We worked with Ellen and Mary for the tasting and planning and Deb and Ellen as our day of coordinators who ensured that everything was smooth and perfect for the wedding day. Our outdoor wedding took place on one of the hottest and most humid days of the year—from the moment the ceremony concluded, the Casual Gourmet team had wine, signature drinks and water flowing. I loved that the food is locally sourced and, as someone with a gluten allergy, that the GF options were endless. Our guests have continued to rave about all the food—from the passed appetizers, to the steak or scallops with risotto and the vegan/vegetarian meal options. Their coordination services, bartenders, and servers provide everything you need to feel relaxed and confident that your day will be executed with the amount of care and attention you have planning it. I cannot recommend them enough—the only downside is you will continue to think about the food for weeks to come!

We recently used this caterer for our wedding at the Heritage Museums and Gardens. Leading up to the event, we planned everything with Lisa and it was lovely. The day before the wedding, we met the day off coordinator Deb. The rehearsal was a little chaotic but thorough. The timeline was thrown off a little bit on the day off due to guests taking a little longer than usual to be sat. This caused the catering company to not feed my photographer (which was in my contract), their reason being “we need to keep the food hot”. So, I paid for a meal that was not given- no refund. Upon me expressing that they were causing me (the bride) stress, they were apologetic. We did buffet style, so the food was served to us at our sweetheart table. We were not given the sauce for the beef and the food was room temperature. It did taste good and we got a lot of compliments on the food. I didn’t have time to taste the cake at the event but the cake at the tasting was delicious. The appetizers that I was able to have at the event were delicious. The “suggested gratuity” posted on the contract was a bit presumptuous and we felt pressured to give that amount, even though many errors were made. For decor- they did a pretty good job following all of my directions but failed to allot time to tie the precut tulle on the garden chairs, which was then a waste of my time and money. When my mother in law offered to tie them, the coordinator threw her hands up and said “well we don’t know if they will be able to get more than half done”. That was a bit disheartening. All in all, the food was pretty good but for the price I would have expected better service day of.

Very easy to work with! We were not local so we coordinated over the phone and through email. Our cake was delicious, all of our guests enjoyed it and so did we!

The cutest and most delicious part of our wedding. We had a small one tier DELICIOUS GLUTEN FREE CAKE decorated with sugar and real flowers on top of cupcakes! I could not believe how delicious the gluten free cake and cupcakes were. We can't thank you enough!!! Go here for lunch AND hire them for your wedding!

Ellen, Lisa, and Olive were stretched to their limits this 2021 wedding season and were able to over deliver on service and culinary expertise on our wedding day. I believe this is due to their seasoned expertise in wedding catering. We were very pleased with the quality and taste of the food from the hors d'oeuvres, to the salads, to the main courses! We were not disappointed!! Not to mention that they are a one stop shop when it comes to ordering linens. Lastly, although we had some confusion in the beginning regarding a special drink, we worked through it and were able to serve the drink to our guest who are still raving about it and their amazing bartenders.

My husband and I worked with the Casual Gourmet for our wedding in September in Wellfleet and could not recommend them enough! When planning our event, food was one of the most important things to us... we love to eat and wanted to provide our guests with a high quality, elevated, delicious meal that also felt very "Cape Cod." The Casual Gourmet team was absolutely fantastic to work with. Mary Lyons (Di Renzo) helped with the planning and the tasting and Deb (not sure last name) was our day of planner. They were both so organized, communicative and professional. The service throughout the night was flawless and the food came out hot! We got many compliments and there were LOTS of clean plates. The appetizers were also incredible!! Mini lobster rolls and a raw bar!! We were in heaven. We truly had the best day and Casual Gourmet helped bring our vision to life!

Olive and Ellen were incredible to work with. From the get go, it was clear that Olive was a seasoned professional. She had catered many weddings at our wedding venue, and truthfully helped us outline the entire timeline of our wedding day, which was incredibly helpful. We loved working with her create a menu that our guests would love, and our taste testing before COVID was so much fun and delicious. It was so hard to decide what to serve at our wedding because everything was just that good. Despite having to postpone our party several times due to COVID, Olive and Ellen were supportive, patient, and great communicators, and they were determined to make our October party our dream come true. The food at the reception was absolutely delicious – from the passed appetizers (lamb lollipops, mac n’ cheese tartlets, lobster rolls to name a few) to the entrees (sliced sirloin and panko haddock) to our incredible funfetti / marble wedding cake. Our guests are still raving about the food. The drinks were fabulous. The servers were absolute professionals. Carolyn, our day of coordinator made sure our wedding day was smooth in its entirety. It’s been 2 months since our wedding, and our guests are still raving about the food! Working with casual gourmet was a fantastic experience from start to finish. From our initial tasting, then having to postpone a year due to Covid, to finally having our dream day - they were phenomenal throughout the process. The service on the day of was outstanding. Everyone was punctual, professional, and so kind to all of our friends and family. We can’t recommend them enough!

Everything was absolutely perfect at both the pre-wedding clambake and the wedding reception itself. The team was extremely professional, both in their promptness, kindness, knowledge...it was like a miracle from start to finish. Mary, who coordinated the events, is absolutely the greatest. Olive and her team at the Casual Gourmet went above and beyond. Olive was knowledgeable with the ever changing landscape of hosting a wedding during COVID times, and made sure our day ran so smoothly. Her and her staff were professional and attentive during the event. On top of all that, the food is OUTSTANDING! Mary and the Casual Gourmet were amazing to work with ! They were very flexible with us and our changing plans throughout the pandemic. Very easy to communicate with, very organized, and very helpful with tying together all the pieces of wedding planning- they have so much experience in the wedding industry so it was really helpful to have their advice. The food and the service were AMAZING. All of our guests commented on how great they were! Many guests saying it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding (which as the bride I might be biased but I agree !). All the servers were so friendly and very efficient. Mary kept our day running smoothly and had everything under control. I felt like I could really relax and not worry about a thing because she was there ! Really amazing overall- great to work with start to finish- and I would highly recommend !

We hired the Casual Gourmet for our October 2020 "microwedding" for 35 guests and they were amazing!! The food was delicious and there were so many options to choose from; the staff were total professionals and took the utmost health and safety precautions; and the cake was amazing and decorated beautifully! Our guests were so impressed that they cooked such warm, delicious and elaborate meals for 35 people in an outdoor tent on a chilly night and didn't miss a beat with serving appetizers, cocktails and wine to everyone since we couldn't have a bar. Mary was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire (stressful!) process of essentially planning a 'new' wedding in 3 months. They have a stellar reputation on Cape Cod for a reason. I'd highly recommend the Casual Gourmet to anyone planning a wedding!!

I cannot say enough about Casual Gourmet!! Olive and her staff were absolutely above and beyond amazing. Everyone RAVED about the food, drinks, and service! This was truly a beautiful, special, one of a kind day. Everyone felt so safe and comfortable during Covid, and I am so happy we chose them as our caterer! The meals are one of a kind delicious, the service is superior, and the drinks are delicious! No one will leave your wedding hungry! The Covid requirements were followed impeccably close, and everyone felt incredibly safe. We are beyond happy with our wedding, and recommend to everyone!

Working with The Casual Gourmet was hands down the smartest wedding decision we made and led to a perfect wedding day. Olive and Mary were incredibly easy to communicate and work with, especially when it came to navigating COVID. Olive and her team at Casual Gourmet did an absolutely fantastic job both well in advance, approaching and on the day of our wedding. Everything was super smooth sailing and fun with them from the start. We were married at Turntide Estate in Chatham in June 2019 and they already knew all of the intricacies of the venue, associated vendors, weather threats, and other items to cover for a wedding of our size (160). Their food was amazing for our heavy vegetarian and seafood loving guests. They are true professionals, and it’s no wonder why all Cape vendors have such respect for their team. Considering ours was a more challenging self-assembled day at a non-traditional location, I would recommend them with full confidence for any size wedding at any Cape venue.

Five stars seems inadequate to describe my son and daughter in law’s wedding experience with Mary Lyons and Casual Gourmet at the helm. After our initial meeting with Mary where we sat down to a delicious and wonderfully presented sampling of our menu choices, both the mother of the bride and I immediately asked Mary to cater a celebratory brunch a day after the wedding AND the engagement party. From that moment on, we knew all the details were taken care of, Mary is extremely knowledgeable and organized! Not only was the food delicious and beautifully presented, the entire weekend was organized to the last second. Thank you, Mary, and your team, for an excellent weekend and beautiful memories!

If you are planning a wedding on The Cape, the Casual Gourmet should be your first call. They helped us every step of the way from finding our venue to cleaning up at the end of the night. I cannot recommend the Casual Gourmet enough. Olive and her team really know what they are doing and make you feel like you are in the best hands throughout the entire wedding planning process. They are responsive, punctual, professional, unobtrusive on your wedding day and are extremely helpful with recommendations for vendors and suggestions of ideas to truly make your wedding special. Service was incredibly professional. The food was fantastic. I have received many compliments regarding how delicious the hors d'oeuvres were (I truly think people would have been happy eating those all night!) and how delicious everyone's meal was. Mary (our day of coordinator) and her team made sure our wedding day went off with a hitch and we cannot thank them enough!

The Casual Gourmet was affiliated with our reception venue, so that was how we determined where to go for our wedding cake. We were extremely pleased starting with our cake tasting. The woman we worked with understood our style and was able to help us design the perfect wedding cake. When we arrived at our reception and saw our cake, it was perfect! Even better than the look of the cake was how it tasted! Our wedding cake was DELICIOUS and everyone raved about it! Thank you Casual Gourmet!

As caterers they are 5 star, the food was incredible, but as wedding coordinators and running a wedding event it's more like a 2-3 star. They were not very detailed oriented. The night before we had a rehearsal and made a plan for the wedding day, we were notified that our coordinator was changing and there wasn't any follow-through on our plan. However, that being said, after the wedding, they were very receptive of feedback and apologetic.

If you are looking for a 5-star catering service, look no further! Olive and her team are efficient, responsive and know what they are doing. From the table settings, reception set up/design, the food, the cake, and her team's overall demeanor, everything was simply phenomenal. The food was delicious and our guests raved about how much they loved the food and cake! In the days leading up to our wedding, the stress had really started to set in, but I felt so reassured knowing that we had Olive and her team in our corner. They are hands down the best catering company you will find on Cape Cod!

Casual Gourmet was very easy to plan with, especially with their designated coordinator. Everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding and all of the food was delicious!

Though we were not always the easiest clients to work with, Casual Gourmet executed everything perfectly and we kept hearing guests comment about how delicious the food was! (Which many were probably nervous about, because it was an all vegetarian wedding). They did an excellent job.

The food was outstanding, the service gracious. Olive is a general with well trained troops. The event went like clockwork, in fact if the timeline deviates in the slightest Olive will seek out her contact in the wedding party for a quick consultation. We established who her wedding party liaison would be in advance and she took suggestions and direction from that person only. It was a wonderful reception and I recommend her highly.

Casual Gourmet was top of the line from the moment we met them on the phone. They created a dream wedding for our daughter and son-in-law and we could not be happier with them. They provided us with numereous venue options for our "casual Cape Cod beach" wedding. Once the date and venue were secured, they provided us with a robust list of great vendors for every aspect of the wedding - tent, florist, DJ, etc. and even portapotties. They were there to guide us every step of the way, as they know all of the most reliable people to work with on the cape. The food was awesome and I wish I could give them 12 stars! They knocked it out of the park.

The Casual Gourmet is everything you're looking for and more. We worked closely with Kelly, who is a godsend and made sure our day went off without a hitch. On top of the impeccable service that Casual Gourmet provides the food is so delicious and well priced. They provided a raw bar and passed apps for our cocktail hour, a wonderful buffet for dinner and they baked our incredible wedding cake! If you're getting married on The Cape this is the caterer you want.

We had an incredible experience with Olive and her team at The Casual Gourmet. We had countless guests raving that it was the best wedding food they’ve had. When it comes to wedding catering, Casual Gourmet is simply the best. They catered our backyard tented wedding and as a result of their work, it was not only flawless but the best night of our lives. We worked with Kelly for most of the logistics, contracting, and early planning including our tasting and she was fabulous: friendly, flexible, and responsive. We were fortunate to also have Olive as our day-of event manager due to the unique logistics of the backyard setup. Olive knows her stuff and provided great practical advice on best practices for how to make the event go smoothly. Olive and her team handled a huge amount of the logistics including vendor coordination and rentals. Olive came to the property several times, including when vendors were setting up on site. My husband and I pay incredible attention to detail and yet Casual Gourmet, and Olive in particular, went far above and beyond our expectations. There were one or two times in the planning process where Casual Gourmet was a bit rigid but this is primarily because they have been doing this for years and they tend to know what will work best. That being said, they did graciously accommodate several special requests (e.g. boxing up extra cake for guests to take home, special arrangements for food allergies, etc.) On the day of the event, the servers, bartenders, and staff were incredibly hard working and friendly. There was never a line at the bar and the food was truly phenomenal - many guests commented the best they had ever had at a wedding. In addition, there were bountiful appetizers and the presentation was flawless. Finally, Casual Gourmet did a special surprise groom's cake that was incredible - and received dozens of compliments from guests for its design (and the three cake flavors, fillings, and frostings were delicious.) They are worth every penny and we could not recommend them more highly. They are the best in the business.

Mary was amazing to work with - a real pro. She knew all the vendors and worked smoothly with them. The food was INCREDIBLE. By far the best food I’ve had at a wedding - several guests said the same! Definitely go with Casual Gourmet. You won’t regret it!

The Casual Gourmet did our wedding cake and it was perfect! Planning was so easy as they work directly with our venue, The Flying Bridge in Falmouth and billed them instead of us directly. The cake looked great (a semi naked cake) and tasted equally as good. The tasting was great as we got to taste all cake, icing, and filling options...we loved the free coffee too! I highly recommend the Casual Gourmet for wedding cakes.

Casual Gourmet was an exceptional choice for our daughter's wedding! Lisa was outstanding as our coordinator, and the food offerings were varied and impressive. Our guests could not stop talking about how delicious the food was! From start to finish, the Casual Gourmet team was responsive, and offered sound advice. I would gladly work with them again, and recommend Casual Gourmet to all my friends and neighbors on The Cape.

I wish I could give Casual Gourmet 6 stars. I cannot express how much we appreciate Olive and Kelly, and all they did to make our wedding absolutely perfect - even more than we dreamed it would be. From the initial contact, to the tasting, to the choosing of linens and accessories, Olive and Kelly inspired confidence and excitement. Olive never tried to "up-sell" us, but instead had excellent practical advice that was incredibly helpful and just spot on. We had our reception in a hall where we had to bring everything in, and it all worked like a dream. I designed my own centerpieces and Olive's team executed them so beautifully that the room was transformed. I sent Kelly photos of the kind of cake we wanted, and she worked with the CG cake designer to make something truly exquisite that had our guests oohing and ahhing. The food was outrageous - people talked about it the whole weekend. Our serious gourmet friends from New York were raving about every bite. My husband keeps saying one of his favorite moments of the thole day was exiting the church to be greeted by Olive with champagne, and being whisked off to the reception hall, where we could see the beautiful room and have a few (perfect) hors d'oeuvres before being overrun by the crowd. Olive andKelly are consummate professionals, and there isn't one thing, not one tiny thing, that we would have changed. The servers and bartenders were fantastic - so friendly and professional and nice. The cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert were timed beautifully. It was all just perfect. I cannot recommend Casual Gourmet highly enough. If you are having a wedding on or near the Cape, call them!

Casual Gourmet was recommended to us by our venue and I'm glad they were! They are extremely professional and organized. I worked with Mary Lyons and she kept me organized and on task. My only drawback was sometimes it felt like they didn't want to break out of their "usual". I think it was just a matter of experience and they knew what guests would like/dislike, but overall my hubby and I chose to do what we wanted and everything worked out extremely well.

Olive and her team are truly outstanding. Olive is exceptionally knowledgable about catering best practices, timing of the day as well as popular venues around the Cape - lending her expert opinion for most wedding related questions. Her team is remarkably responsive (easily accessible by email) and willing to accommodate most requests. My wedding day went off without a hitch (even in a tropical storm!) with her and her team: the bar service was insanely fast with never any lines, our buffet was the fastest anyone had ever seen they said, their menu to select from was out of this world (and the tasting with Olive was SO fun!), and the breakdown and clean-up of the tent after was phenomenal. Honestly I don't think my husband and I could be happier that we went with Casual Gourmet - cannot recommend them enough!!

The Casual Gourmet is the BEST of the best. I went into the wedding planning process pretty unsure of what I wanted for food/ catering experience. Olive and her team at the Casual Gourmet delivered! Mary was our personal wedding coordinator, which is part of the service provided and SO SO worth it. Mary and the team met with my husband and I for food tastings, table ware, etc. They worked with our other vendors to ensure everything ran perfectly on the day of. The food is incredible as well. They are able to accommodate most any menu desired! Our guests were raving about the food and still are. Service was seamless, food was incredible, the cake was beautiful and delicious, and the whole day went off without a hitch- all thanks to Mary, Olive and the entire CG staff! Highly recommend!!

Casual Gourmet catered and organized our wedding at Highfield Hall this August. Lisa was our coordinator and she went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and make sure the day went as planned. The food was amazing, there were more than enough servers and bartenders for the crowd, and I never worried about how things were going because I trusted Lisa had control of it all. They also catered my sister in law's wedding and did an amazing job then, as well. I strongly recommend them! Also, our cake was delicious.

Casual Gourmet made the most delicious cake for our wedding. They have a vast selection of scrumptious cake/filling/frosting options that are all incredible. We selected a lemon cake with raspberry mousse filling and buttercream frosting that our guests could not stop talking about. We gave a photo of a specific cake that Casual Gourmet was able to emulate.

Our wedding cake was THE BEST RED VELVET we have ever had!! We sent a picture to the baking department, and they made it just perfect! We also had a small mini version of our wedding cake for my parents' anniversary, and it looked amazing! So pretty and delicious!

Everyone still talks about how amazing our cake was! (And it was vegan, to boot!). I was reading my search for a tasty dairy free wedding cake and started at The Casual Gourmet on the recommendation of our venue. As soon as I told Marcie that I needed a dairy free cake she immediately extolled the virtues of their chocolate WWII cake and how many ch she loved it. My husband is a chocoholic so we were planning on chocolate anyway--fate! For our tasting Marcie made a special batch of soy free frosting to see if it would work for the cake (my family has a variety of food limitations). The soy frosting wasn't strong enough for a tiered cake so she offered to make a few cupcakes for those who needed the special frosting. Our second favorite part was this amazing raspberry preserve frosting she made--the same fresh raspberry taste but softened with the frosting. We chose it for the inner layer and, since it had a beautiful dusty rose color, some of the flowers. I'm thrilled to have a bunch leftover so we can pull it out of the freezer throughout the year and remember our special day.

Flawless planning, organization, and service. Olive took complete control of our day so we did not have to worry about anything. She even scared away the expected thunderstorms :) The staff was efficient and professional, always asking me and the groom if we needed anything. The food was beyond delicious and any suggestions or changes we made, the chefs were very accommodating. The cake was outstanding and the design was exactly what we imagined. Our guests cannot stop talking about the food. Highly suggest buffet and the SUMMER RISOTTO!!

The management (Olive) and staff were exceptional. When you are planning a wedding there are more things you dont know than those you do. I felt as if Olive and her team took us in made sure we understood the benefits, risks, do's and dont's and cans and can'ts. The experience was truly amazing and with their help our daughter's wedding went to a level beyond excellent. Everyone we spoke to at the wedding said it was the best that they had ever attended and without Olive and her amazing staff at Casual Gourmet I am certain it would have not been as flawless and from my perspective not as easy. If you are a parent and what that amazing day for your child you will not have time to cover every detail, nor know which level of importance any detail requires. I can not speak anything but the highest praises about them. On a scale of 1-10, they are 15. After having evaluated food from other caterers we saw no option even close to the variety, quality, the presentation and the taste. We were well rewarded by this decision. The bartenders, professional, quality cocktails and excellent oversight towards those that perhaps had a tendency to empty their glasses too quickly and return for more. Thank you. Even though we also had some traditional European wedding cakes, the one prepared by Casual Gourmet was wonderful. I know this sounds like Im a fan, which I am. However, if you are considering any event, wedding, etc. it should be a MUST that you at least evaluate Casual Gourmet and their services, you would be doing a diservice to yourself, your loved ones or your clientele. A final item, their cost was completely in line and I very much feel that if you take into consideration the quality and professionalism, you are getting a bargain. I have one daughter left and sometime in the near future I will be back at Casual Gourmet, having Olive and her staff helping me to plan and execute another phenomenal wedding. Thank you Olive. I worked with Brittany and she was great. Our wedding and groom's cake were exactly what we wanted and so delicious too. The groom's cake was a surprise for my groom and his family, a pizza cake that had a lot of meaning and when they saw it, they were all in tears, of happiness. The design of both cakes were what I had envisioned, or really, just awesome. This was a destination wedding so we worked via phone and email and the communication was wonderful. We had leftover and everyone was fighting over it the next day, it was so delicious! We enjoyed the Top of our cake the next 3 days:) Thanks for everything!

We worked with The Casual Gourmet for our June 2017 wedding at the Heritage Museum and Gardens. Not only is their food truly exceptional (not your average wedding food!), but working with Lisa K as our coordinator made it possible for me to forego hiring a wedding planner. Lisa was so helpful to us for the year + we were planning the wedding, and our big day went off without a hitch thanks to her work behind the scenes. Do yourself a favor and hire them for your Cape wedding!

We had a stellar experience with Casual Gourmet who catered our daughters wedding for 160 people in mid June in our back yard. Everything about the experience was a pleasure, from the initial tempting menu and price offerings , the better than any restaurant tasting meal in January, to the truly amazing hors d'oevres that every guest praised and the delicious dinners, delivered quickly, and warm and that were consumed with gusto. The serving staff was attractive, well trained and so pleasant to deal with. Olive herself was more than helpful. A true Queen of organization and fine dining. The cleanup at the end left our yard immaculate. There was literally nothing to complain about. We were totally delighted with the entire experience and can recommend Casual Gourmet highly.

Casual Gourmet recently catered our wedding. The food was wonderful, actually the wedding food was even better than the tasting and we were so happy with the quality and quantity. Everyone said the wedding cake was the best they ever had. The wedding coordinator that worked with us throughout planning was sick the day before the wedding, so another filled in, which was somewhat stressful trying to get up to speed the day before the wedding, and working with a very different style of coordinator. I'm sure this is a very rare occurrence, and would highly recommend Casual Gourmet's food and cakes!!

What tasty and beautiful cakes! We got married at the Coonamessett Inn, and they have a cake contract with the casual gourmet, which worked out well because we were able to pay for it all on the same bill (one less thing to worry about). We had a great time at the cake tasting and chose white vanilla cake with raspberry filling and vanilla frosting, then chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling and vanilla frosting. The fillings are totally worth it! We had leftover cake and served it at the day-after brunch and it was a total hit two days in a row! They have a wide variety of cake designs- we picked the sandy/shell design that had white chocolate sea shells as well as some real sea shells too. Definitely recommend!

Casual Gourmet did the cake for our wedding. They were so easy to work with and despite us only having one bite of the cake at our reception, all of our guests raved about it! The design was exactly what we wanted and it all looked so beautiful put together.

Where do I begin to describe just how incredible Olive and the Casual Gourmet staff were to have as a part of our wedding. I can honestly say that there is no way our wedding would have run as smoothly as it did without Olive and her incredible staff. First lets talk about the food. The food is incredible, and both my husband and I come from large Italian families who are very picky about food, and we are still hearing from our friends and family about how it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. On top of that, I have celiac disease and a dairy allergy and Olive and her staff made it so easy for our wedding food to be allergy friendly, and they even made me a vegan/gluten free wedding cake tier which was AMAZING. But honestly, when you hire Olive and her Casual Gourmet staff you are getting so much more than incredible food, you are getting the support and organization from one of the most respected caterers on Cape Cod, I would even go as for to say all of New England. Olive has incredible relationships with all of the vendors we worked with (all of them LOVE working with her), and was able to make sure that our wedding day ran so smoothly. We got married at a private estate, so there were many moving pieces, with many vendors. For over a year Olive and her staff worked with us to make sure everything was being arranged and planned well. She was honest with her opinions when I maybe had something in mind that just wasn't realistic, and I think that really helped me stay on track, and plan a wonderful wedding. Olive was also there with her staff days before our wedding making sure our vendors were staying on track, and things were running according to plan. I knew that because we had Casual Gourmet working with us that there really was nothing we had to worry about on our wedding day. I could go on and on, but honestly there is no one better than Olive and Casual Gourmet, I can't recommend this company highly enough.

Working with Olive and her team at Casual Gourmet could not have gone any smoother! The planning process was seamless and they took care of every detail. Extremely detail oriented and on top of their game. Received so many compliments on the food. Appetizers are creative and perfect for any Cape Cod Wedding. Not your traditional boring wedding plates! They made our day simply perfect and would highly recommend them to any of my friends and family!

The Casual Gourmet was a huge part of our wedding day. Not only did they provide delicious passed apps and dinner, but they also acted as a wedding coordinator. Olive actually suggested the venue we ended up choosing (Nauticus Marina), and Kelly supported the wedding planning throughout the months leading up to it and coordinated day of. It was so nice to have her in contact with the tent company, florist, band, etc. and facilitate the schedule day of. We were able to be carefree and completely enjoy ourselves at our wedding because Kelly had everything running so smoothly behind the scenes. Additionally, the staff was wonderful. Passed apps were never far from reach, meals were cleared quickly, and the bartenders and waitstaff were really friendly. It's no surprise that Casual Gourmet comes so highly recommended - they are exceptional!

Casual Gourmet's food is delicious. From the cake to the potato side dish and the appetizer lobster roles, everything was amazing. They as a staff are very professional and things went extremely smoothly. The company is very responsive, via phone or email, which is much appreciated. The owners know everyone in weddings on the Cape, and are absolute pros at managing the weddings the weekend of. I had zero worries about officially handing over the reins to my big day, and Olive helped it go off without a hitch. I could not have done it without them and I couldn't recommend them more.

The Casual Gourmet did the cake for our wedding last September on Cape Cod and it was delicious!! We actually needed a gluten free cake and I was terrified by what this meant for our non gluten free guests. I should not have worried at all. No one ever would have been able to guess that what they ate was gluten free. It was moist and flavorful and not at all like some of the heavy/dry gluten free cakes out there. Plus I LOVED that lemon cake was available as a gluten free option! Most bakeries only had vanilla or chocolate. We did lemon cake with lemon curd filling!! Yum!! It even tasted good after a year in the freezer when we had it again for our anniversary. As for decorations they had a ton of pretty options, but we just wanted a simple, elegant white cake with real flowers (from our florist) on the top. They did a beautiful job with this as well. I would highly recommend Casual Gourmet to anyone looking for a wedding cake on Cape Cod... gluten free or otherwise... I only wish I could click my heels and transport myself from NJ to the cape for another slice right now!

The Casual Gourmet, specifically Mary, did an excellent job on our wedding. All of our guests raved that the food was superb, from a make your own clam chowder bar during cocktail hour to the risotto served as a side with our meal. Mary was matter-of-fact and easy to work with. She was there for our rehearsal and made sure that everything looked just as we wanted the day of our wedding and that the day ran smoothly. I would certainly recommend the Casual Gourmet to other brides!

Perfect! That one word describes every aspect of our daughter's recent wedding at Heritage Gardens in Sandwich. Casual Gourmet outdid themselves in all ways. We had so many compliments on the beautiful setting AND the yummy food. Mary Lyons, who acted as our "coordinator," was with us every step of the way and was responsive to our many questions, calming to our concerns and a true professional. We were thrilled with how the day unfolded.

Casual Gourmet did an amazing job at our outdoor June wedding! We could not have been more pleased with the food and service. We did their lobster and filet duet, which was cooked perfectly. During the reception guests were raving about how delicious the food was! More importantly, Mary was fantastic to work with. She was extremely knowledgable, responsive, patient and organized. She helped us through all the planning details for the ceremony and reception. We cannot thank Mary and the Casual Gourmet staff enough!

Every aspect of working with Olive, Kelly and the team at Casual Gourmet made the planning process easier and allowed us to feel confident going into our wedding day -- and they absolutely delivered on both the food and coordination that day! Our venue came with nothing but running water, so it was extremely helpful having Casual Gourmet to make recommendations for things like tent, tables, ceremony benches, bathroom trailers and more! We also used their advice on things like DJ and florist since they are so experienced and have done so many beautiful weddings on the Cape. Over email, phone calls and multiple face-to-face meetings, Olive helped us structure the schedule for our day, pick an amazing menu and even came to the rehearsal. Wedding planning can be stressful since most of us have no experience planning this type of event -- but Olive's extensive experience put us at ease with so much of the decision making. The wedding day went flawlessly and all our guests were raving about the hors d'oeuvres and entrees. Not sure what else to say, Casual Gourmet is amazing and I would recommend to anyone having a Cape wedding!
