My groom, his groomsmen and our fathers rented tuxes from Ed Barbo's for our wedding in October 2012. I first learned of Ed Barbo's when I saw their booth at the Wedding Fair in Duluth in January 2012. Roger Teal, who is in charge of their form...
al wear, was staffing the booth and had a very nice-looking display. He was very helpful there and never stopped. We ended up renting navy blue tuxes/suits (Savvi brand) from them. I think we wanted something a little different from what he was used to having people order, but he worked with us to understand just what we wanted. He really knows his product, including how it generally fit. Although his method is a little old school, we definitely knew that he wanted to get things right for us. When the tuxes came in with black cufflinks instead of the pearl ones I had ordered, Roger immediately fixed the problem. I was so thankful for this because it was two days before our wedding and I was stressed out. I hate to admit it, but at that point, something like the wrong cufflink color just about sent me over the edge. Roger quickly averted a "crisis," for which we were all grateful. I think Ed Barbo's has been in business in Duluth for many years. It kind of has that older, classic "men's store" vibe. We liked supporting a local business and felt we got the same great product that we would have had we ordered the tuxes straight from a Savvi store. I would definitely use Ed Barbo's again!
