om her. I sent a follow up email that she did not respond to so I called again. She told me they were busy helping clean up the flooding in Baton Rouge. I asked for a proposal for the ceremony instead. She told me there was a $1000 minimum. I'm not sure if she was trying to turn me off by stating this since money was never brought up in the previous conversations. As of 09/20/16, I still have not received a proposal yet. I am thoroughly disappointed as I was very excited to have candle centerpieces instead of flowers. Now I will have a room full of flowers.

Lol there was even a time that I tried to go overboard with the candle decor and she was honest with me and told me that I didn't need it which I totally loved her honesty because she could've just took my money but she didn't. I booked Firefly Ambiance for Ceremony/Reception Candle decor and Uplighting. My wedding was 09/09/2016 and when I seen everything it was so beautiful I am very happy that I chose Firefly Ambiance. I can't wait to get my photos back just to look at what they did. Whenever I have another event I will definitely book Firefly Ambiance. Jenn&The team at Firefly Ambiance are amazing. We did a large lighting backdrop behind our wedding cake, and it made everything pop! The photos are absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, we did not get them. Jennifer apologized profusely, and said there was a miscommunication with her workers and is giving me half of my $$ back. This still however does not take away the heartbreak of not having the photos I have always dreamed of. I would not recommend firefly ambiance.

A few months before the wedding, we met at her warehouse, discussed and changed a few things, and finalized the proposal. It really was as easy as that. During our initial contact, Jennifer referred to my wedding décor designs as a "dream wedding", and that is exactly what her and her team gave my husband and I. We walked into The Chicory, and the sight was absolutely breathtaking. There were candles and lanterns everywhere. It was exactly what I envisioned my reception to look like. Jennifer made it all come to life for us! Honestly, if the groom compliments the décor (really anything other than the alcohol or food), you know something was done right! Jennifer and team, THANK YOU for how lovely you made our reception.

and she made it happen. I had gone to meet with Jen and brought her my ideas along with my detailed sketches of what we envisioned our wedding to be. We wanted our wedding to be a lot of candlelight and it definitely was. She was available anytime I needed to discuss any changes or had any questions. I truly believe that all of the candelabras, mercury stemware, glass candle holders and votives made a difference for our ballroom that was already pre-lit with the chandeliers that hung from the ceiling. She also made the ceremony very romantic with the lanterns that were lit down the aisle. Yes, our flowers were beautiful, but the candle work really gave our guests that WOW experience. Jennifer was amazing to work with and I would recommend any bride looking for that "special' wedding look that your guests will never forget, to go with her and I promise she won't let you down. All I have to say is prepared to be wowed.

They came very early to begin set up, which I very much appreciated because it was quite a mission with all these candles, the beautiful standing candle pieces alone for the aisle that then got repurposed for the party were large and perfect for the tone I was trying to set. She responded to phone calls and emails quickly, and considering how busy they are I really appreciated that. The lighting is what everyone remembers the most, how beautiful it was, and how golden it made everything seem. You have to use Firefly in NoLA, they are the best at what they do and will make everything seem so surreal and memorable for your guests.

We planned from out-of-state, and couldn’t have had more confidence in Jennifer’s work - she has a great knowledge of the space, offered helpful suggestions about what might work best (and within our budget), and integrated so seamlessly with other vendors. It couldn’t have been a smoother - or more lovely - process (almost entirely via email!). Her work was flawless and beautiful. Even with last minute weather-related changes, Jennifer and her team at Firefly Ambiance helped us to feel well-taken-care-of and special. The space looked spectacular in the most natural, unassuming way that just impressed us and impressed our guests. We can’t recommend Firefly Ambiance more highly.

Having too many flowers would have been a mistake and I am so glad I chose to have votive candles, candelabras and a medley of other decorative lighting to make our wedding truly spectacular. and so many other aspects of the wedding which was so helpful (especially since I was an out of town bride). She was always available if I had questions, ideas or changes I wanted to make. The lighting literally made the wedding!! From the chandeliers and crystal candle holders in the trees to the beautiful gold lanterns and mercury glass goblets everywhere, it was gorgeous!!!! I had all blush peonies and roses on the tables which were so beautiful but the lighting totally took the cake and completed the entire look. Had I not have had Jennifer I would of never been able to achieve the ambiance I wanted. My guests kept coming up to me and saying that they have never seen such beautiful candles and lighting done at wedding. I received many vendor proposals and really did my homework prior to choosing one and Firefly surpassed all event lighting company's and totally surpassed my expectations! Her prices are extremely fair and well worth the investment especially after seeing how much work goes into coming up with a design concept, set up and breakdown. The lighting made so much more of an impact and brought my event design to the next level. When my guest were walking in their jaws were dropping and I really believe that was because of all the lighting that Firefly did. It was so different from the typical wedding decor. If you are going to choose anyone to invest in and trust with lighting or candle event design she would be the only one to choose!!! a beautiful outdoor courtyard wedding, which we were ecstatic about because Jennifer saw our vision. Around three weeks before our wedding, we got a call stating that the venue was closing all together for renovations due to the damage from Hurricane Isaac. We luckily found another venue (indoor) and Jennifer contacted us immediately to make other arrangements. Not only did she rearrange EVERYHING she initally did, she made it better. She was AMAZING!! The attention to detail was unlike anything I've ever seen and she made the transition flawless. She always answered the phone and she was always extremely pleasent, A+!
