The food was good but the service could have been better.
The food and service for our reception was awesome! We continue to hear compliments about the food at our reception. We opted to keep leftover food. They packaged it and had it ready for us. We would recommend them to everyone!

After considering many other catering & bartending options, we decided to go with Goeglein’s for our wedding. We met with Jeff a few times prior to our wedding and he was always easy going and happy to accommodate any changes we had.

, the day of our wedding they blew us away! The servers made sure that salad was out when we entered the barn and that all of our buffet food was ready to go. We got raving reviews about the variety and flavor of all of our entrees and sides. The bartenders checked in with my dad when we were going through alcohol quicker than expected.
Once the party got started, the bartenders were interactive and great with all of the guests. They made sure that everyone had a full cup at all times! Even when we started to run out of alcohol, they called for backup to make sure that the party wouldn’t stop! Anytime they were questioning whether we wanted something to be done, they always asked! At the end of the night, the servers also packaged up all of the leftover food for us to take home, which was amazing! If we ever need catering services again, we will definitely be using Goeglein’s!

5 people attend the reception, and it was not crowded at all! The staff did a good job of setting up for us and getting the food out on time and dismissing tables. They were very easy to work with and could handle everything on their own.

bout the food. We did family style to avoid a long buffet line. There was plenty of food (although our guy friends' tables ran a bit low since we had 8 big eaters at one table).
The only complaint is that they do not cook onsite at our location (Baker Street Station). My food wasn't warm when I ate, but as the bride I was mingling during dinner, so who knows how late I was back to my table!
Overall we had a wonderful experience. They underestimated the champagne (and the rest of the alcohol) and had to get another bottle. So if you have drinkers, or start with a cocktail hour, then plan for more bottles.
Otherwise, lovely!
Working with Goeglien's was so easy. I was able to make all of my menu selections at a tasting session. During the event, the staff made sure that everything ran smoothly and was just the way I wanted it.

hing was. The decorator is more than willing to do anything and everything asked and has so many great ideas of her own. The coordinator was always so helpful and super easy to work with. I highly recommend them to anyone. The 1 issue we had was the price for chairs, but that was not an issue in the end because they allowed us to bring in lawn chairs instead!

Pricing was great- we used their lovely "homestead" facility, decorations and catering. Got a great deal by renting the entire facility instead of a room or two. Also offered rental discounts when you used their catering!

We used Goegleins for our ceremony, reception hall and catering. The garden grove was so beautiful for a ceremony! Although it's so hard to please most guests with food, we have gotten a lot of great feedback on our reception dinner with them.

had limited weekends in Fort Wayne for wedding planning. He allowed my mom, fiance and I to come to the Homestead for a private food tasting. Some caters only had scheduled group tastings, so I found Goeglein's to be very convenient. Jeff gave honest opinions about the food when we had some trouble deciding between all of the different choices (there are A LOT!).
As for the decorating, Genia was such a big help. I provided most of the decorations for the reception, but she offered to set up everything for me. I thought that was nice of her especially since I didn't use many of her decorations.
Genia and Jeff always responded to emails and phone calls promptly. Overall, it was a great night and everything went off without a hitch! The guests enjoyed the food and Baker Street looked beautiful!

ces are reasonable, and their rental costs are the same as renting from a third party--but they set it up for you. The food was delicious, and the Scottish Rite coordinator, Jeff, was available to answer all my questions (and I had a lot!). Very impressed.
I had my reception and catering done at Goeglein's. They were so easy to work with and made planning my menu and decorations easy. They have done so many weddings and events that they know what they are doing! They were great to work with!
