Lara is just the best! On our pre-wedding shoot, it was super hot and humid and Lara kept us in good spirits with her great energy and positivity. On the day of our wedding, it was almost unbearable outside due to the heat and Lara and Peter were amazing, even in such horrible conditions. They worked with us to grab a few photos outside, then when it was too hot we moved back inside. We really wanted to capture the fun had by all at our wedding, and Lara definitely did that. She took great candid photos of ourselves, the guests and especially the fun on the dance floor. The photo quality was amazing, the shots she grabbed were out of this world, and the slideshow she sent us at the end had us in tears remembering how great our day was. We definitely did not need a videographer, as her slideshow captured every moment of our day! All of our friends and family who have seen the photos are in awe of the spectacular job Lara and Peter did at capturing our night. We are so lucky they were available to come out and photograph us, and we are incredibly happy with the results. I would highly recommend Lara!!

Lara and Peter (her husband/second photographer) are absolutely incredible. Lara took the time to chat with us about the details of the wedding, the service that she would provide, but also genuinely wanted to get to know us. We instantly knew Lara was the right choice, and feel like we became friends with both Lara and Peter as soon as we met (they shot us first for our engagement photos, then took our wedding photos). They are warm and open and absolutely fantastic to work with. My wife and I aren’t usually particularly comfortable in front of the camera, but Lara made everything feel so natural and positive. Her skill for that really shows, our wedding and engagement photos capture who we really are. The quality of her work is impeccable, as you can see from looking at her website. They both have a fantastic eye for composition, and the final product shows a lot of care in getting the colors and light to look just right. She has more of journalistic style than you see with some other wedding photographers, so the photos really represent our wedding as it truly was, with clarity and carefulness. We love the portraits she took after the ceremony. We were lucky that she decided to shoot some of those on film, and the naturalness of that series makes them among our very favorites. Lara was easily the best choice we made when planning our wedding. Communication as amazing, and we trusted everything she was doing 110%. We will treasure her photos for our entire lives. We can’t say enough about how talented she and Peter are, and how lucky we feel to have had them as part of our big day.
