at dictated my choice of venue, flowers, photographer and decor, and an outdated rendition of "Footloose" blasting in the background just wasn't going to cut it. We came across Obadiah Parker on a wedding blog and immediately knew he was exactly what we wanted after listening to some of his covers on his website. He is a talented vocalist and musician, and puts a unique and fresh spin on cover songs that leaves you wanting more. Before our wedding, we went and saw him play live at The Sanctuary and Kazimierz and knew we had made the right decision. Obadiah Parker performed solo for our outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour--including a special song he learned just for us. Hearing him play while I walked down the aisle with my father is something I will never forget. He then performed as a band with three other talented musicians during dinner followed by dancing for our reception. Our guests were blown away by the music, and my husband and I felt lucky to be able to enjoy them once again on our special night. Obadiah Parker was incredibly wonderful to work with and assisted us every step of the way, from music selection and playlists (we had the flexibility of including our own song choices during the band's breaks) to emceeing our event and equipment rentals (for officiant and toasts). We would highly recommend Obadiah Parker for any event--my husband and I look forward to seeing him play live again soon.

to a venue out in the middle of nowhere, but rolled with the punches when we asked him to play a special song for our first dance. A song that he learned that day, and of which he played an amazing version. The music itself would have been enough, but the person who made that music was so wonderful, that it helped brighten up an already special day. If you’re considering hiring him for your wedding, do it.

yond talented and extremely professional. He always shows up early and goes above and beyond for the client. I seriously cannot say enough good things about him. I also decided to hire him for my very own wedding because I cannot get enough of his voice. I can't recommend him enough! Do yourself a favor and hire him. You won't regret it.

iah justice in terms of the quality of his voice/guitar skills and how much his presence adds to an event. We chose relatively popular songs for our bridal party, first dance and cocktail party, but Obadiah made them each uniquely his own (all acoustic) which created the authentic rustic relaxed vibe we were going for. In this highly lucrative world, Obadiah was one of the best values we got at our entire wedding and I could not recommend using him more to anyone getting married to add to the special day/weekend!

icult to agree on what we wanted. Then I stumbled upon Obadiah Parker. Obadiah was completely accommodating and played acoustic versions of several different genres of music. Soundgarden, Adele, Coldplay, Ray Charles, and even The Toadies... Obadiah did it all beautifully. The guests loved the mix of style almost as much as my husband and I did. It was the perfect representation of two people coming together as one. I highly recommend booking Obadiah Parker for your event. You will not be disappointed!
