Pretty Films is a wedding videography company based in Chicago, IL. We don’t do COOKIE CUTTER. We don’t do CHEESY. The wedding video game has changed ever since we started raising the wedding film bar for our couples in Chicago and beyond. The rest of the players have gotten better but are still making a “one size fits all” generic wedding video. We never have and never will. WHY we don’t make generic films is an easy question to answer - our couples have higher standards. But HOW we make a wedding film for you that is visually artistic and authentically your story is far more complex (Wedding FIlms 101 required). Our mission is creating wedding works of art, completely inspired by our couples. The team worked beautifully with our planner and photographer and Maribel was an absolute blast on our wedding day – we and our families felt instantly comfortable with them, and they seamlessly captured every element of our day (and, given that we got married during a pandemic, it’s worth adding that we felt absolutely safe with Maribel!). Maribel continued to be extremely helpful and kind after our wedding day. Once we saw the finished product, we quickly realized we wanted more add-ons so we could easily share the day with friends and family who could not attend the wedding. Maribel worked with us to fully capture what we were looking for and did so in a prompt and professional manner. Our wedding video is a piece of art – it’s made countless people cry and it’s such a wonderful gift to be able to share with those who couldn’t be at our wedding (and with those who were!!). Covid aside, any couple would be lucky to have Pretty Films at their wedding, and for any couple on the fence about having a videographer, from one original skeptic to another, you NEED Pretty Films. am delivered a beautiful video for us to treasure forever. Editing is elegant and artful, without taking focus away from the event itself. I wouldn't change a single thing about it, which is incredible for such a personal memento. Throughout the process, I was confident Maribel would handle her side of things professionally and with little input from my wife and I. This is immensely valuable on a day when you have so much to worry about! She's also sincerely a pleasant and vibrant person that made us feel at ease, and she even left us laughing, which I'm sure helped her capture more natural footage of us. We were also able to work with Maribel to get the exact package and price point we wanted. We wanted Zoom as a minimum and maybe a recording to save, but were fortunately able to budget for some extra flourishes that really elevated the edited version. At the same time, we never felt pressured to upgrade to something we couldn't afford. Everyone knows people are liable to regret spending money on frivolous wedding 'extras'. George and the tream is energetic, professional, creative, and flexible (we customized our own package) - everything you would want in a vendor and videographer. The work is unbelievable - I was sold on their examples and their personality. Our video captures EVERYTHING! Things I didn't even think or know happened. Doesn't miss a beat, and makes you feel very relaxed and comfortable throughout the day. At one point during our beach shoot the wind was insane, and our videographer had all of my bridesmaids lined up in the sand at every angle slo mo - it looked so so good, I have gotten so many compliments and just thrilled with my choice. n as I’ve had to be the one to contact them over 10 times. When I did contact them, it was with a different person every time. I’ve had a big fear that I’ve been scammed and I’ve seen nothing proving otherwise. I received my highlight video (roughly 1 minute long); however, there are chunky black lines from the camera throughout the footage! I paid $3,000 for this service! Money can be made again, but the videos of my big day will be in Pretty Films possession forever. 😢 I’m so devastated.
