Jim Couch plays just about every folk, side two song you can think of - as well of course the side ones. But he also has a hot band that can make things really happen if that is what you want.
We heard Jim Couch at a small intimate setting ...playing lovely romantic songs with a touch of humor. Loved him. But we needed something a bit more.. a whole bunch more for our reception - and we wanted someone who could "read the crowd". We didn't know whether our guests would respond to Lyle Lovett or Prince... or both... and this band was able to entertain. We are in our fifties and they are younger - I am sure they know many more recent songs/singers than I've listed - but that just shows you the range.
They play mostly in Rosemary Beach area - but in this part of the Panhandle everything is fairly close - they didn't mind coming to Panama City.
Very professional, well groomed, great voices / sound - and again ABLE TO READ THE AUDIENCE. From a large party to a small wedding - James (Jim) Couch is the guy.
