We hired Deep Velvet for our wedding. They were so lively and fun and did a great job of getting everyone up and on their feet! The only issues we had with them, which were very small, was that the band was a little difficult to get in touch with when we were first given their contact info a month out from the wedding. After a few attempts, I had to reach out to our agent, Summer (who was so great to work with!), to put us in touch. We were also sent the link to a profile for us to fill out for the band with special requests. I'm not sure if the band ever looked at our profile, as none of our requests, except for the first dance and MS and FD dances actually happened. It wasn't a big deal, since they were small requests that our guests didn't even know to expect, and the band definitely made up for it with all of the fun they brought! If you're looking for any kind of band for your wedding, I would definitely recommend Sam Hill, and if you're looking for a fun, soul band, I would recommend Deep Velvet!

We booked Hipshack for our wedding in January and couldn't have been happier! The band was really responsive and professional. They listened to our input, but also put their own spin on the night and made sure all the guests had a blast. Sam Hill was wonderful to work with as well - communicative and helpful all along the way. Highly recommend!!

We booked Eight Past Midnight for our wedding this past weekend through Sam Hill Entertainment and the whole experience was great! Mike with Sam Hill was always responsive and helpful. As for the band itself, if you are looking for a high-energy party band, look no further. The members of EPM are extraordinarily talented and will BRING IT. Our guests were on the dance floor all night and the band in turn was feeding off the energy from the crowd. It was a blast! I highly recommend EPM and the whole process of booking the band through Sam Hill was easy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

We were SO pleased with Lucky Pocket. They did a wonderful job getting everyone on the dance floor! The music playlist was perfect, and made sure both younger and older generations enjoyed the music and danced. So many guests complimented us about choosing Lucky Pocket. They had a blast for sure - as did we. The band was so nice to introduce the wedding party even though their clock hadn't quite started yet. My calves were so sore for 3 whole days after the wedding that I was limping because I danced so hard (I'm not joking). As for the groom's parents, they said they'd never seen him dance so much in his life. It was absolutely amazing.

We booked Hipshack through Sam Hill for our wedding this past Saturday in Blowing Rock, NC. My sister used Hipshack a few years ago for her wedding and they set a very high bar. Scott and his crew met that bar once again. They killed it. Scott could not have been easier to work with and the folks at Sam Hill made things as easy as could be. We would recommend them to anyone.

Sam Hill set us up with Lucky Pocket and they were wonderful. The front man and drummer were especially talented, and kept the party going until we were kicked out of the venue. Even before we were put in touch with such a great band, the staff at Sam Hill listened to our wildly diverse ideas and absurd wish list of what we wanted out of a wedding band. We had a modest budget, a short time frame, and very specific style/genre expectations. They nailed all three with their recommendation. A great experience all around.

We used Sam Hill Entertainment to find a band for our wedding and had a great experience. The representative sent us dozens of options that served our area in NC. We used Downtown Collective and they were incredible and very competitively priced. They were from a different city and did not charge any travel fees. Everyone came up to us at the wedding to compliment how great the band was. I highly recommend Sam Hill and Downtown Collective!

The band hit a "grand slam" with how they performed and entertained our guests for the evening. So many people commented about how fabulous the band was in making the evening so fun. We hired After Party Experience for our wedding reception and they were AWESOME! Our guests danced from the moment the band started until we made our grand exit! Such a great band. They know how to keep the party going!

We had Lucky Pocket perform at our wedding reception. The band was great and easy to work with! They did a wonderful job performing - our guests were dancing all night long, and many of them commented about how good they are. We'd definitely recommend them and Sam Hill's group to anyone who's looking for a band to perform at their wedding or other event!

Charlie Band played at my daughters reception and they were absolutely wonderful. They started with introductions- flawless. Dad/daughter dance was beautiful - great tempo . The band was responsive to the guests and very engaging. They are excellent musicians and entertainers. At one point,during Love Train every single guest was up and dancing. ( well over 140) . My Bride daughter said "I had the best time ever"- which is what a parent wants to hear. We have heard them at 2 other weddings so I can attest to their consistency in excellent performances. Last -We have a shy, special needs, adult child and the female singer recognized this and was singing and dancing with her. Our daughter felt like a "Star"- and this was a special gift to us. My sincere thanks . They played the whole time - and people were begging for encores! Thank you - they made the evening perfect !

The Big Beyond performed for our daughters wedding on Nov 17, 2018 at Graylyn Estate and cannot say enough awesome things about this band. They performed, and I do mean performed, for over 3 hours non stop! They are so talented in every way from their voices, their choreography and playing instruments! If you want a band that you will always remember and your guests will love, book them now! they truly know how to entertain!

We booked The New Royals with Sam Hill Entertainment and WOW, they were incredible!! We had a special request to have the groom play a couple songs with the band, and they were very accommodating with this and scheduled a sound check with my husband and his best man to make sure everything went smoothly. Sam Hill Ent was super easy to work with, and we would highly recommend The New Royals as the band for your big day!! They will make your reception an unforgettable celebration!

Affirmative Groove made our wedding was so great! Everyone adored them, we do not have one solitary complaint or suggestion because they were pretty much perfect. They were spot on with the music and kept the party super alive. Working with them has truly been a pleasure, and we hope to work with them again in the future! Definitely try to see them if they’re ever near you, they will blow you away!

My experience booking The Retreat through Sam Hill was amazing- we got extremely lucky! Andrew with Sam Hill helped me choose the perfect band for our wedding. He was very professional and responsive which unfortunately you don't see with all vendors so this was very much appreciated! Andrew helped me iron out all details prior to the wedding day. The Retreat was incredible and I wish I could give them more than 5/5 stars. The music and energy was awesome and kept a crowd of 100+ on the dance floor all night. At the end of the reception they did a mash up of different songs which was awesome. I loved working with them and their music so much, our reception would not have been the same without them. Don't look anywhere else- book with Sam Hill!

It is hard to put into words how incredibly pleased we were with the Finns. Communicating with the band was quick and simple, and we never encountered any issues along the way. They turned our reception into an unforgettable experience for not just us, but for all of our family and friends. Everyone continues to comment on how they have never seen a dance floor SO full of people for SO long. The song selection and sound quality were unparalleled. We've attended a lot of weddings, and we have never been more impressed with the overall performance of the band, and I think our guests would agree. We are almost positive that we will see The Finns playing again at one of our friend's weddings! We also requested that the band learn one of our favorite songs, which they had never played before, and they mastered it! The crowd also insisted that the band play an encore song at the end of the night, and it was a perfect finale. I could go on and on about how amazing the entire experience truly was for all of us. We are so thrilled to cherish the memories we have of The Finns playing at our reception.

Their team is very organized and professional. We booked the Adrian Duke Project and were thrilled with their performance. They had everyone on their feet dancing! They are all incredible artists and we were so happy to have booked them!

LOVED the Radio Narks! They were so much fun, played an incredible set, and we had such an amazing night. Could not recommend working them more! One of the best parts of the night was when we ended our first dance with a fun song (What I Like About You) and the band started playing the song in the middle of the recording to transition everyone from first dances to dancing with the band - it was 100% impromptu and they crushed it!! Hire the Radio Narks for your wedding, you will NOT regret it!

We worked with Sam Hill to book Six Stylez for our wedding reception. Everyone was super professional and responsive throughout the process. The band was great with high energy and guests danced all night.

My husband, parents and I couldn’t have imagined anything more from The Finns! We had a wedding of about 180 and they had everyone up and dancing! The were so easy to accommodate and even ended up bringing a fifth person when we paid for four. Our wedding was in Greenville, NC and they hadn’t played there before but our guests were going up to them to get their cards. Jordan was SO easy to work with. He went through the wedding planner at the venue for everything which made it stress free for my mother and I. If I had to do it again I would 110% book the Finns throug Sam Hill Entertainment!

My husband and I cannot recommend Dance Candy enough. We, as well as our guests, were blown away by their talent, professionalism, and friendliness. They had the dance floor packed all night and absolutely made our wedding that much more special and fun with their entertaining sets. Additionally, Sam Hill Entertainment was amazing to work with and made the process of picking a perfect wedding band for our event stress-free.

We had The Radio Narks play at our wedding last June (6/9/17). We were a little nervous, because as type-A planners the communication started a little bit later than we felt comfortable with. However, on the night of, they were fantastic. They got our guests up and dancing, everyone loved the music selection, and they had a great stage presence. Although they weren't able to play our first dance song, my hubs surprised me by having them learn TSwift's Shake It Off - it was amazing! :) They played until the lights came on, and by the end of the night, half of the groomsmen had developed full-on man crushes on the lead singer and invited him to join us for the after party - so, overall a glowing review!

We booked the Crystal Clear Band through Sam Hill. They were fantastic- all of our guests told us over and over how great they thought the band was. They went above and beyond to play specific songs and learn new ones. The team with Sam Hill was also great- they helped to make a band selection based off the vibe I was looking for and were very responsive when my planner or I had questions.

Working with Sam Hill was such a breeze! They were so helpful with all of the details and took the load off of our shoulders. Our goal for our wedding was keeping everything super fun, energetic, and making sure our guests had a great time. We booked The Dickens for our wedding and could not have been more happy! Percy and the band set the tone for the whole night! They perfectly tailored their set list to our guests - everyone from 3 years old to 89 years old were on the dance floor having fun! Percy handled the job of MC-ing the event flawlessly. The night was perfect, and we attest much of that to The Dickens and the atmosphere that they created for us. We will 100% call on them and Sam Hill ANYTIME we need live music in the future.

The Radio Narks were amazing! No exaggeration. We had tons of compliments after the wedding on how fun the band was, the quality of the music, and the selection of songs. Our caterer told the band as they were closing down that they were the best wedding band they'd heard in a long time - and they hear a ton! All of that to say they come highly recommended. Brian, band member, was our main contact and he was great. We had several calls leading up to the wedding to ensure we were on the page musically, talk through the timeline, etc. but didn't have much interaction with the other band members except for seeing them on the day of. We didn't see the band perform live before we booked them so we just hoped we picked a good one. However, the videos on their site do a good job of representing what they really sound like. Vocals are great and even though they're only a three member group, they have a big presence on stage. They were on time, set up, ready to go when we transitioned from cocktail hour to the reception. They were able to play more dinner-type music and then after speeches ramped up for dancing. They played all different genres of music and we gave them a list of the types of music we liked beforehand. There was something for everyone and all the music was upbeat. I don't think they actually ended up playing slow songs so I'd specify that you want those to be included in the set list if you do. They were great!

Hipshack played at our daughter’s wedding on 3/17 and they were wonderful! Scott Dailey was especially helpful and friendly! They even learned to play Girls Just Wanna Have Fun in a lower key just for us!! The variety of music they played was amazing and they kept everyone dancing! I can’t tell you how many compliments we received about the band that we chose! Thank you Hipshack!!

We had The Adrian Duke Project perform at our wedding in March 10th! This band was amazing there are not enough words to tell you how awesome they were. I would have to say everyone had a great time at our reception mainly because of the band they kept you on your feet the entire night. Thank you so much for making my wedding reception so much fun!!

We booked the band Affirmative Groove through Sam Hill Entertainment and have nothing but positive things to say about both. Sam Hill was easy to work with and helped us to quickly find a band that suited all of our search parameters. They promptly replied to my emails and made this process a breeze. Sam Hill gave us the opportunity to book Back Porch Orchestra and they were loved by everybody. Sam Hill operated very professionally which while is efficient detracts slightly from opening up early banter with the band to better get to know each other.

We worked with Adam to book The Free and honestly, 5 Stars is not enough for Sam Hill Entertainment and The Free!! They are absolutely incredible and I promise your guests will be up and dancing all night long and raving about them for months after your wedding :) This was the one thing my husband cared about for the wedding and he was SO pumped we had the Free! We had The Finns band at our wedding back in September. We were SO happy with our experience. Working with the band was really easy, they always got back to us in a timely manner. I tend to ask a lot of questions, and they always had answers. The day of everything flowed really well. They were great at keeping with the timeline they had provided. They sounded AWESOME. We were so pleased with how well they performed. We've gotten multiple compliments from our guest on how great the band was. Their style of music went perfectly with what we had envisioned. And they did a really great job with learning a song for our first dance. The only thing we were disappointed with was ourselves for not allotting more time for them to perform and letting our guest enjoy their music on the dance floor.

We booked The Finns through Sam Hill for our June 2017 Wedding and they were nothing short of amazing. They went above and beyond, playing the intro music for our reception, learning our first dance and playing the song for my husband's dance with his mom. All of our guests raved about how great the band was and how much fun they were having. The music was a really great mix of songs that appealed to all of the generations our wedding. We had The Big Beyond at our Biltmore wedding in Asheville this May and they were INCREDIBLE. The band was super interactive, very dynamic and diverse. They played the classics as well as the newest Top 40 list. The band had my guests on the dance floor all night. They were definitely a pivotal vendor on my wedding night and my husband is already trying to convince me to book them for his 30th Birthday this year. HIGHLY recommend!
