at morning to check in and confirm the room number and set up. From the initial contact to the trial to the day of, everything was wonderful. At my makeup trial, Sam was thoughtful and thorough, and on the day of the wedding, made sure I was happy with everything as we went along. I wanted a bolder, vintage look for the wedding, and she delivered! She is very responsive if there is something you want adjusted or changed. My bridesmaids were also all very happy with their experience and makeup as well. For one of my bridesmaids, Sam ended up starting her eye makeup over because she herself felt it wasn’t quite right—that’s how much of a perfectionist she is, which is exactly what you want for your big day! I will also mention how Wedding Tresses came through for me in a pinch—a couple weeks before the wedding, a couple bridesmaids and my mother-in-law who had decided not to get their hair done changed their mind, which would have been too many people for my current hairdresser. Jacki was able to send one of her team members at the last minute to do hair, which meant a much more relaxed and less stressful day for all. And she did a great job as well. Overall, I felt the price was just right, they are talented and responsive, and would definitely recommend their services.

was incredibly rude and ended up making me cry on my wedding day because I felt so bad for hiring someone that was treating my friends and family so poorly. She argued with every person who sat in her chair and refused to do what anyone asked. To be honest, I think it was because she could not do what they were asking. When I think back on my wedding day this is the only part that I will always remember as being horrible. Jacki - the owner - was also great. She was able to come and do my makeup as well as a few others. Once she came Sam calmed down her attitude as well.

he put on false eyelashes and I now want to wear them every day, they made my eyes pop and helped complete the look! Not only did she do a great job, but Jacki was a pleasure to work with. She was fun and sassy like me and my ladies and we all enjoyed her company while we were getting glammed up. I highly recommend her services to any bride-to-be!

I was so worried that it would be a pain for Jacki to deal with, but Jacki assured me it was no problem, and with a smile on her face squeezed in my mother-in-law without any issues. Everyone looks amazing and was so happy with how they looked! I got compliments the entire night about how beautiful my hair looked! I can also assure you that the one bad review out there about Wedding Tresses and Jacki Norrie, had to have been a total BRIDEZILLA. If you want to look beautiful, but want to also try and relax on your wedding day (in the privacy of your house vs. a stuffy salon), Wedding Tresses and Jacki Norrie are THE vendor to help you do that! Hands down, the best hair and makeup artists in New England! Thank you Jacki and team!

where for me. She should have had an assistant, as she could not get everyone's hair done in time for our scheduled first look and we missed out on so many special photos. She even packed up the last of our pre-wedding sandwiches for the road, so I never even got lunch! She was weird and rude, and I couldn't even remove my veil for my reception, because my hair looked awful after a half-hour. My wedding was amazing, but Wedding Tresses is the only vendor I used that I would never recommend. I thought long and hard before leaving a negative review, because I don't want to hurt a small business, but she clearly doesn't value her clients, and other brides need to know what they're getting into.

allenge with gusto. Her assistants worked with three girls with extremely different hair and really they all looked fantastic. They even incorporated the hair accessories I requested. My only complaint is that there appeared to have been a change over of office staff while I was working with Jacki. This led to a bit of confusion here and there, but in the end everyone was where they needed to be on time and done on time :) And that's what really counts! Everyone looked amazing, and the retro style I requested came out perfect. :)
