Amy Levin-Epstein Weber is the Editor-in-Chief of The Local Moms Network, a digital media startup consisting of 90 hyperlocal resource sites and social media platforms, all run for and by moms. She has revamped the network’s editorial strategy and landed interviews with notable celebrity moms like Emma Heming Willis, Kristin Cavallari, and Whole 30 founder Melissa Hartwig. She has almost 20 years of experience and has contributed to a number of sites and publications including The Knot, Glamour, Good Housekeeping, and The New York Post. Amy is the mom of two boys.
Experience
Amy started her career with CBS News Productions as a Broadcast Associate and Conde Nast. She was then hired as a Senior Associate Editor of Features for Rodale’s Best Life magazine. Amy spent nearly four years in this position before joining Newscorp as a Senior Editor for Page Six magazine. She then worked as a CBS Money Career Blogger, writing three career-related posts per week. In 2013, Amy was hired as a Senior Features Editor for The Knot. She wrote and edited travel, lifestyle, service, and psychology stories. Amy was then hired as the Executive Editor of Serendipity. Amy assumed her current position, Editor-in-Chief of The Local Moms Network, in 2018. She also continues to freelance as a writer and editor, penning thousands of articles for print and digital media covering parenting, health, lifestyle, and career articles.
Education
Amy received a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Oberlin College and a Master of Arts in Sociology from the University of Sydney.
