Important Questions from The Knot

Best advice for to-be-weds?

Think about what’s most important to you when it comes to wedding details, and communicate with your partner to make sure you’re on the same page. The wedding is one day, but marriage is a lifetime!

What’s your all-time favorite wedding song?

“Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond. It was always the last song of the night at one of my favorite (and since-closed) college bars, so it has a good nostalgia element.

Dream celebrity wedding guest?

Gavin DeGraw singing my first dance song—I first saw him perform in early 2005 after a New Jersey Nets game, and have many times since—he was even the first concert my husband and I attended together! (My reception’s been postponed three times due to COVID-19—so I’m still dreaming he’ll ‘Follow Through’!)

Best wedding after party snack?

We plan on having a “dessert invasion”—small, sweet bites that are passed around on the dance floor. But I’ve also never been one to turn down pizza!
