I have nothing but praise to sing about Bliss Bakery in downtown Omaha! They have been our favorite bakery since they opened and I couldn't have dreamed better wedding cakes! While Bliss mostly does cupcakes they also do the traditional wedding...
cakes as well as 4 layer 9 inch round cakes. My husband and I chose not to go with a traditional cake but got 10 of the 9 inch rounds. Each one was a different flavor and we displayed them on a long table with a description of each in front of it, then encouraged our guests to go with a friend and try two or three flavors. It was a HUGE hit! 6 months later people are still talking about our cakes! Any time i hear about a wedding being planed Bliss Bakery are the first words out of my mouth! Some of the flavors we chose are, German Chocolate, Red Velvet, Irish Car Bomb, Caramel Apple (I was told all four of these were gone within 20 minutes.) My personal favorites were, Sweet Potato (with brown sugar frosting!!!!), Chocolate Blueberry and Pomegranate Vanilla. We also had Ginger Peach, Spiced Chai and a Chocolate with Buttercream frosting that all went over really really well! No matter what you want, cupcakes, 9in round cakes or the traditional wedding cake, call Bliss and do the free tasting. You'll be glad you did! rganized as we showed up for a planned meeting and no one knew we were coming, nothing was ready, and they could not find our purchase agreement. It was sorted out and everything worked out perfectly for the wedding.
Set up went very smoothly and the cakes looked amazing!! The only small complaint I have is that the cakes were a little heavy on the frosting, but the decorations were so wonderful it doesn't bother me.
