Jolie from OUAB was absolutely amazing to work with. Her and her team were so much fun the day of the wedding and helped to calm all of the pre-wedding jitters. They were so patient with the flower girls, who had a ton of questions because they were so excited to be getting their hair and make-up done for the first time. I had added three hours of touch ups during the day, which was perfect because we were doing the majority of our pictures before the actual ceremony. They were amazing at coming over to quickly touch up anything that needed to be fixed based on the photos! Jolie and her team did an amazing job with my hair and make-up as well. They really listened to what I wanted, and it everything held well into the night! I highly recommend hiring Jolie and her team for your upcoming wedding!

I had Sara do my hair and makeup, as well as my bridesmaid's hair, and she does beautiful work. I had a viking style wedding, and she took nothing but pictures in the moment for my bridesmaid's and made the theme come to life. I specifically wanted braids and she was able make a beautiful bridal look while playing with hints of viking style braids. She was also so nice and her makeup lasted the whole time! I never had to fix it.

I have nothing but good things to say about this vendor! Jolie, the owner, was so amazing with me! She was so kind and patient throughout the whole process! I actually had never done a trial or gotten professional makeup done so I wasn’t sure what steps to take. Some people told me to do multiple trials to really see who’s work I like the best but in all honesty, trials are pricey. I took a leap of faith and just booked bridal by OUAB without doing any trial prior. I saw her work on Instagram and I knew she would do an amazing job on my wedding day. My bridal team and I could not be happier! I had to plan my wedding from overseas, which is not the easiest of tasks. Jolie was very easy to communicate with and really supportive. She was even able to arrange a hair and make up trial for me with short notice. Paytin and Sarah my MU artist and hair stylist were absolutely AMAZING! They're super friendly, professional and I was super happy with their work. You can definitely tell they have experience and know what they're doing. On D day, they both arrived on time and were super patient. They did not rush us and were even able to tell exactly what we liked. We were very impressed with their work and we could not be more grateful for making us feel confident on my big day.

Jolie and the team are amazing. To start, I will say that I don't wear too much makeup, and my bridesmaid are the same way. We all felt super comfortable, beautiful and like ourselves! The entire process is so fun, and Jolie and her team and great listeners and good at what they do.

I was nervous at first booking a makeup artist for my wedding that I had no experience with, but as soon as I met Jolie in person for my trial, I knew I made the right decision with Bridal by OUAB! Jolie is so kind and personable and made sure I really did love all aspects of my makeup during my trial. She perfectly replicated the look on the day of my wedding and even pointed out small fixes she had noticed in the pictures from my trial and made a point to make sure everything was perfect on my wedding day. She did a great job working within each of my bridesmaids comfort levels with makeup, and they all looked beautiful! Jolie was extremely responsive during the planning process, which made communication overall super easy. I highly recommend Bridal by OUAB.

I was so pleased with Jolie and her hair and make-up artists and how they made me, my maid of honor and my mother feel so beautiful for my wedding. She had not experienced airbrush before and while I felt her make-up was beautiful, she felt uncomfortable and without any issue, Jolie's team went above and beyond by re-applying my mother's own make-up to ensure that she felt comfortable and beautiful as well. One piece of advice, do the bridal trial! It’s your chance to meet the team, let them become accustomed to your skin/hair and you can see if the look you want will work. I loved meeting Sussi & Sara! Sussi nailed my makeup look, I honestly have never seen such awesome technique. I am obsessed with my eyebrows & let me tell you, she knows what she’s doing! Sara is super knowledgeable & was able to help me find a product that would help my super long, super thick hair hold a curl in the Florida humidity! It took everything in me not to cry when I saw my finished hair and makeup on my wedding day. Jolie & Sussi made my dream look into a reality and you could see it in my fiancé’s eyes at our First Look. I even asked Jolie to attach a rather heavy jeweled piece into my hair & I did not touch it once the entire night. I almost forgot it was there because it was so perfectly secure in my hair! I had a previous bad experience with another Florida company and I can tell you the professional team at Bridal by OUAB are who you want by your side on your big day! Book them! :)

I am so glad I chose Once Upon a Beauty for my wedding hair and makeup. I could not have been happier! They were great to work with the whole time and were so friendly and professional. I was worried about my hair as it’s pretty fine and doesn’t usually hold curls well, but Jollie did a great job and it looked perfect the entire night. Me and my bridesmaids were also so happy with our makeup. We were glowing the entire night! I highly recommend!!

Jolie is wonderful to work with! She was kind, flexible and quick to respond. Jolie is the bomb! She is so great at what she does and super down to earth. I’ve gotten my makeup done by her a handful of times and every time it’s *flawless,* The airbrush foundation is so beautiful and her technique is amazing! Would highly recommend

One word - amazing! Jolie was able to capture my hair and make-up inspiration, and the hair and make-up style that my bridesmaids wanted. And despite several changes that the bridesmaids wanted done to their hair or make-up, we were right on time! Jolie’s calmness and patience really eased my nervousness and boosted my confidence.

Our stylists were Cat & Crystal. They both did a wonderful job on our hair & makeup. Everyone in my bridal party was pleased with the way their hair & makeup was done. Crystal was super friendly and fit right into my group of friends. They made getting ready stress-free and a good time.

From day 1, I was a very difficult client, changing hair and makeup services as my wedding party decided what to or not to include. Can't say enough wonderful things about Bridal by OUAB. I was a destination bride and didn't have the ability to have a trial. Based on reviews and photos I decided to book with them. Everything was so easy from getting a quote to paying for services. Dana was wonderful on the day of my wedding. We had a very short time frame as we got married on a cruise and she was so quick and had us ready to go earlier than we anticipated! My hair and makeup looked amazing and stayed all day/night. Would highly recommend - worth every penny!

THIS IS THE BEST VENDOR OF MY ENTIRE WEDDING DAY. Dana + her team (shout-out Karla!) were the first to arrive in the morning, were beyond sweet and encouraging, and were super calm, focused, and would fix your hair and makeup all day long. Super affordable and superior service. I have never felt more beautiful thanks to them. They finished with plenty of time and were genuinely the most wonderful people to have around. My hair and makeup did not budge or change all night. A thousand stars!!!

Dana is FANTASTIC!!!! I can't say enough about how awesome she is. Make up was one of the last minute things I had to book (oops) and Dana was very responsive and prompt. She listened to what I wanted and any adjustments I wanted she was happy to do. Dana made me feel BEAUTIFUL on my big day. I've never felt as beautiful as I did on that day and part of it is thanks to Dana. She made me and my girls look like goddesses. Dana and her staff were wonderful to work with! I contacted Dana in the summer and signed a contract with her immediately, her prices were affordable for my bridesmaids and myself and all of her make-up included airbrushing and eyelashes which was huge! She came to my house for my makeup and hair trail. She listened to what I wanted and gave very helpful suggestions. Dana was carefree and so easy to talk to, she made the process really smooth and relaxing for me. Dana and Jolie were absolutely amazing! My girls and I were all so so beautiful and everything stayed perfectly throughout the night. I had a friend of the family present who was questioning my choices for my hair. Dana saw me getting upset and was quick to jump in and defend me. Dana is one of my new most favourite people ever! She did an incredible job of my 6 bridesmaids and my own make up on my wedding day. She was so lovely and kind and so talented! We didn’t have any idea of what we wanted so let her take creative control and she did an outstanding job! We wanted our make up quite dramatic and she used the most gorgeous colour palette for both myself and all the girls, each look was similar but matched the individuals style. You couldn’t even tell we had fake lashes on, they were amazingly picked for each of us and so comfortable. The airbrush makeup was so nice and flawless. I have facial scars from a sports injury years ago and she did a great job and making my face flawless and my scars unnoticeable to me which is something I don’t usually achieve and was so special to me in that moment. It was honestly so perfect. If you’re looking for a makeup artist, you’ve found her! The most knowledgeable, humble and talented make up artist. Thank you!!

Once Upon a Beauty did a fabulous job for my bridal party. They were on time and kept on schedule. I let my bridal party choose their own hair and the artists did a great job at keeping everyone different and unique. My bridal party was very happy with their hair and makeup!

I had Jolie for makeup and Racheal for hair. Both were AMAZING. They were all extremely quick with responding to email/texts, super friendly and personable. They captured my vision of the hair and makeup for my bridesmaids and myself perfectly. I had six people in total getting hair and makeup done and everyone had to be ready by noon. They were done with all services well before that time so I had time to just chill out and take a breather. Also, it was pretty hot out on my wedding day and with the dancing, I was sweating and my makeup never budged. My photographer even commented on how will my makeup was keeping up throughout the night. I would recommend them to anyone.

Very professional and punctual on the day of, which is important. They were able to capture each bridesmaids unique qualities when doing their makeup and hair, so not everyone looked identical. My makeup, as the bride, was beautiful, and exactly what I was looking for. I was not able to do a trial for hair and makeup and they put me at ease throughout the entire process. Worth the price!

She was able to work with my travel schedule to get my hair and make up trial completed and make sure it was done exactly the way I wanted. Dana was absolutely amazing! Professional, adaptable, and very knowledgeable. Dana did such an amazing job coordinating everything beauty for our wedding day! The trial was great to have to really explain the look I was going for. Dana from Once Upon A Beauty did the hair and makeup for my wedding in July. We were so impressed with her professionalism, friendliness, and talent, that we cannot stop raving (or looking at pictures!). I never wear makeup and was not able to do a trial, however, this did not stop Dana from bringing together my vision for a natural hair and makeup look. Bridal Makeup review Once Upon A Beauty is amazing! I had a wedding planned where I live in Michigan. After discussing things with my now husband, we chose to have a small intimate wedding in Florida. We chose our location and date for January 31st, 2018 and started planning. After searching sites online and looking through TONS of wedding day bridal hair and makeup, I confirmed that I LOVED her style the best! I messaged Once Upon a Beauty on January 4th, 2018 and received a quick reply the same day with a quote for my January 31st, 2018 wedding. Dana was so easy to work with which was a necessity when planning an out of state wedding. She was quick to reply to any email I sent. On the day before, we finalized our wedding timeline details and confirmed location and time to meet and when I needed to be done for our photographer. On the day of my wedding, Dana arrived early ready to make me beautiful. You can tell she has passion and LOVES what she does. She has unremarkable talent in hair and makeup design. My mother in law even stated that out of all my wedding vendors, she was "her favorite!". Words cannot even describe how beautiful she made me not just look but feel on my wedding day. Once Upon a Beauty is hands down the BEST!

Dana was absolutely INCREDIBLE. She nailed both hair and makeup for me and my bridal party. One of my bridesmaids doesn't wear makeup and was super hesitant to have someone do it, but she was incredibly pleased with Dana's hair and makeup. I can’t say enough about once upon a beauty. My wedding was at 11 am, and we all needed to be ready by 8am to make it to the venue to start pictures before the ceremony. Dana arrived early (before 5am) and began doing hair and makeup right away. Everyone looked amazing, and the hair and makeup lasted throughout the whole day. I found Dana and her company after much research. I even went to a trial at a different place first. They really messed up with me, so going to Dana had me nervous. But she listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly. She was such an expert. She took into consideration what I wanted, what would look good, and what to do to make sure it was tailored for me. She made me look and feel absolutely beautiful for my wedding. Plus, my hair and makeup lasted through the whole thing! I looked pretty much exactly the same at the end as I did at the beginning. Plus, she did an amazing job on my girl’s hair and makeup. the girls are amazing. from trials to wedding day everything was perfect. Dana is so sweet!!!!! She executed the perfect hairstyle-we are talking better than the picture, and created the most beautiful make up look for me. And she is so patient. She went through 3 or 4 different hairstyles with my mom on the day of trials trying to help her find what made her feel beautiful. But when she got to my room on my wedding day to do my hair and makeup, she listed to what I wanted and asked all the right questions. I did come prepared with some photos to give her an idea of what I was looking for. She made me look absolutely beautiful. I don't wear a lot of makeup normally, so didn't want to look too made up. I absolutely loved working with Dana! Our trial was so much fun and she did everything in her power to make sure I loved the look including making small tweaks. She even suggested the gloss to buy so I could do my own touch ups. She and her team were able to give myself, bridesmaids and my Mom exactly what we wanted the day of including one person who wasn’t scheduled since we had enough time. Sara was my hairstylist for my wedding. Both Sara and Dana were amazing! They always responded quickly and worked with my schedule to get me in for my hair trial. The minute I met Sara I loved her. She was so sweet and did EXACTLY what I wanted with my hair. She even said if there was anything I didn't like about it she would start over. I tend to be a people pleaser and don't always voice my opinion, so this was great for me. My hair came out so much better than I imagined on my wedding day and Sara was so fast! For my bridal party, I let them all choose their own hair styles. Sara did amazing on each and every one and put her own twist on all of our ideas. We also had so much fun hanging out with Sara the day of, and even though one of my bridesmaids was running very behind she never complained or seemed bothered. Dana was amazing! She was so awesome, she knew how to do both my hair and my girls' hair based off of pictures and it turned out beautiful. She was so kind and fun she turned on music from her phone to get everyone to loosen up and relax and get things started.
