Bryer Photography is a wedding business based out of Albany, NY, that specializes in producing eye-catching images. Jason and Heather are the husband-and-wife duo behind this venture, and they love to freeze-frame all the beauty and splendor of these fairytale milestones. Together, they strive to pause beautiful moments in time. Their aim is to not only provide clients with stills of past events but to offer pictures made with flair and brimming with significance. Since 2004, Jason has been fascinated by the craft of photography. Having spent many years focusing on meaningful scenes and capturing all sorts of occasions, he decided to cover his friend’s wedding. He hasn’t looked back since, and his journey has allowed him to get to know a whole host of interesting people while preserving once-in-a-lifetime occasions. Heather is equally passionate about safeguarding memories through expertly crafted pictures. She loves playing a key role in providing newlyweds with enduring mementos, and she always strives for high-quality results. Bryer Photography is happy to adapt their approach to suit various aesthetics. Couples who want artistic photos made with creativity and panache are in luck. Those who want dramatic and bold images of their big day can also be easily obliged. A number of other styles can also be reflected in their work such as classic, documentary, lifestyle, and modern. Five distinctive packages are available for couples to peruse, and they each offer unique inclusions. Couples are welcome to select the one which best suits their preferences. Included, as standard, across each bundle are all-day coverage, a digital gallery, and a USB stick full of wonderful images. Depending on which option customers choose, other available features include two photographers, a photo booth, engagement coverage, and a wedding album. Ultimately, Bryer Photography wants to chronicle each occasion as they happen so that all the candor, sincere expressions, and raw emotions can be faithfully protected for generations to come.

Jason and Heather are absolutely lovely to work with. Jason was so accomodating with scheduling our engagement shoot. They were a huge asset to our wedding day, even our coordinator had great things to say. Turn around time for our blog posts (sneak peek photos) were so fast for both our engagement shoot and our wedding photos. We can’t wait to see our final wedding album!!! I seriously cannot recommend them enough. Will update with wedding photos once we get them back!!

Jason and Heather were amazing. They made the wedding day seamless. Their photo previews so far have been outstanding. The husband and wife team worked together perfectly. There were some specific photos that I wanted and they had no problem accommodating. They were also around the entire time catching photos at the reception and making sure to get all of the important shots!

Jason and Heather were everything we could’ve hoped for and more. They were so nice and accommodating with the meetings leading up to the wedding. They also did a stellar job getting all the photos on our shot list. They were so kind when I had a last minute timeline change and were just all around amazing to work with. We received our teaser photos within a day and they were breathtaking! I’m so excited to receive our finished photos and would absolutely recommend them to anyone we know who is getting married in the future

Jason and Heather are an amazing team and captured the most amazing shots of our wedding the other weekend! I learned of them because they photographed my friends wedding that I was in, and I’m so happy they were available to capture our special day. They were both so calm and professional throughout the entire planning process - even with our little change of plans due to COVID. They took the best pictures and we highly recommend them!!!

Jason and Heather did an absolutely amazing job for my wedding on August 10th. They have such an artistic eye and the pictures have turned out amazing. They are fun, professional, punctual, made us feel super comfortable and it's clear they have been doing this for a long time. The photo booth was a huge hit at our reception and was definitely one of my favorite highlights to look back on! I highly recommend them!

My husband and I found Jason and Heather through the knot and they were our perfect fit. They were so kind and helpful and put both of us at ease the day of and throughout the process. And I cannot rave enough about how amazing our pictures are! They captured our venue and personalities so well. I highly~ and I mean HIGHLY ~recommend them!

We used Jason and Heather for our downtown Albany wedding and we could not be happier with the photos! We have the most absolutely gorgeous pictures from both the wedding and engagement shoots, and had the best time with Heather and Jason. Our families have gushed about working with them on our wedding day, they were professional, friendly, and captured so many great moments. Half the time we didn't even notice they were there, and many guests commented that they barely noticed them throughout the ceremony, as they were not in the way as some other wedding photographers have been. I know people get married in downtown Albany just about every weekend, but I feel like a lot of my pictures are unique in poses and settings that Jason and Heather chose, and stand out and are not as cookie cutter as a lot of other wedding shots. Also, I totally recommend getting the photo booth. It was way cheaper than using our DJ or another vendor, and it allowed us to get even more pictures of our guests.

I just got my photos back from my wedding and OMG! Jason and heather gave me reason to cry all over again, they captured the most beautiful moments. Some moments I never even saw until later! Thank you heather and Jason for giving me photos that will last a lifetime!!

Jason and Heather are amazing! We cannot say enough positive things about them. They have a relaxed approach to taking photographs and always have a ton of creative ideas. They also are open to any ideas or suggestions that you have. The pictures are beautiful and we have already received so many compliments on them. It is impossible to even pick our top three favorite photos because they are all soo beautiful. We loved working with them and recommend them to anyone for incredible wedding photos!!

Jason and Heather take amazing photos and are great to work with! If you are looking for top notch photos in the Albany area but also need to stay within a budget, they are perfect! We did have a very large wedding party, and had a hard time getting them organized throughout our photos - make sure you have someone on site (a responsible member of the wedding party) to tell the boys to keep their hands in their pockets and their jackets buttoned or clear out extra items where photos are being taken - we ended up with a groomsman holding a hat and sunglasses in a bunch of photos, some looking a bit disheveled, and a cooler lingering in the background of a few of our favorites... silly stuff no one would think to fix until there is a photo capturing it!

I highly recommend Bryer Photography. Jason and Heather are amazing! They were great at communicating with us leading up to the wedding and made the entire bridal party feel comfortable in front of the camera. We were impressed with our engagement pictures we did with them, but the wedding pictures we got to see on their blog within 24 hours blew us away. We can't wait to see the rest! We picked the package that also included the photo booth. It was a HUGE hit! Guests of all ages were using the booth and the props they brought with them were adorable. The pictures are uploaded to their Facebook page and we enjoyed getting to see them all the next day.

Our daughter was married 2 weeks ago and in the hunt for the perfect photographer found Jason Bryer Photography. Jason and his staff were a wonderful addition to our special day. Not only is he an artistic photographer (which he is), he was so personable and friendly and un-intrusive! He used the Inn setting to the utmost to create beautiful shots of the bride & groom. We loved having he and his staff there and love the photos! The photo booth was a huge hit! And the kids have so many wonderful memories because of these pictures!

My wedding was on 11/9/14, and we started searching/booking vendors around a year in advance. I had a specific budget in mind, and when I came across Bryer Photograph, my search ended abruptly. His pictures were so above and beyond in terms of creativity, I knew this would be my photographer. Jason was so much fun to work with, he knew exactly where he wanted to go, and made the picture process painless. Although she was not originally in the package that we paid for, Heather (Jason's wife) was there to help out, and get some amazing shots of us. Thanks so much!

This was my second time working with Jason and Heather. They did my brothers wedding and did such an amazing job I knew I had to have him for my own wedding. They are such an easy going and nice couple to have around you on your special day. They made me feel so comfortable and I had fun with all the pictures. Seeing the few come up on their blog the day after my wedding was so exciting. I am in love with the few I got to see already. I can't thank Jason and Heather enough for helping me capture the most perfect day ever.

My husband and I used Jason and Heather for our May 18,2014 wedding and our engagement photos. Their pictures are amazing and they are really nice and easygoing. They have a package that includes an open air photobooth with an attendant. The photobooth was a huge hit during the reception. People could take as many pictures as they wanted with as many props and people as they wanted. Jason sent us a link to our highlight photos and all of the photobooth photos the very next evening. We loved working with Jason and Heather and look forward to working with them again! This is her husband writing: Ditto!

We had a great time with Jason and Heather. They are so easy and fun to work with. Their work is beautiful. We really wanted more "real" photo's vs the posing kind- and they gave us exactly what we wanted! They captured all the moments that we wanted and then some! Highly recommend Bryer Photography!! Jason and his wife did an INCREDIBLE job with our wedding. The pictures we have seen thus far on his blog are amazing and we can not wait for the rest of them. They were there for the entire evening and were very thorough. We also rented the photobooth from them and made the pictures our favors along with some frames. It was a big hit!!

These two were AMAZING! We met with them at their house where we got to see some of their work (as well as online) and I knew that they would be great. They were very laid back and such nice people! We did our engagement shoot with Jason as well, which was a ton of fun! There were always about 15 teaser pictures on Facebook within 24 hours of both shoots and the pictures are stunning! I could always get in touch with Jason very easily through email - quick to respond and always very helpful! I just got our pictures back in the mail - over 500 and they are all just great! I am so glad we went with these two! A great value!

From the beginning, Jason and Heather were fun and easy to work with. They were full of enthusiasm and able to accommodate our ideas, both the traditional and the unique. They were happy to provide advice and suggestions when needed. They met with us around our schedule at various stages in the planning process to ensure that all of our needs were met. Our wedding and engagement photos came out fantastic and we have received numerous compliments. We were thrilled and the quality of their work speaks for itself. They captured all of the important moments without being obtrusive. Jason has a knack for making the most mundane shot artistic and exciting. The photobooth was a huge hit and the printouts made great favors for our guests. We felt that Bryer Photography was the best value of all for our wedding. We highly recommend them for yours!

These two do a terrific job. Both are creative, unique, professional and amazing. We had a blast at the engagement sessions and got some very interesting shots. Our wedding photos came out stunning and better than we could have ever imagined. Everyone had a great time with the Photobooth and I highly recommend you put this on your “Must Have” list for your wedding.

My Husband and i found Jason and his wife through TheKnot.com We planned our wedding from Australia where we lived so had to go off our gut instincts for the whole planning process not being able to meet with any of our suppliers. Even through just emails, Jason was very comforting and was the easiest part of our wedding. Come the day off, we barely knew they were there (something that we wanted) save the occasional time they would notice a scene that would make a great photos and would quickly direct us then let us on our way. We wanted to make sure that our photos reflected the party we had planned with minimal posed photos, instead we requested shots that would look like no-one knew anyone was taking the photo. The very next day, Jason sent us a couple of sneak peaks of the photos they took, and we were blown away!!! Incredible, perfect, no words could actually describe how happy we were and this was just a couple of the photos! The perfect photographers. I would recommend to anyone in a heart beat.

Jason My interest in photography began in early 2004 and really flourished after I traveled (and got married!) in Europe. Though I only used a point-and-shoot at the time, soon after I acquired a digital SLR nd never looked back. I shot my first wedding in 2009 for friends and had a blast.
