Cards & Pockets was fantastic to work with! My sister designed our wedding invitations, so we needed to find a company that could implement her designs and allow us to customize the full suite of envelopes, mats, and inserts. It was so easy to choose the options we wanted and the Cards & Pockets team was responsive and consultative, offering suggestions of paper stock colors that complemented our designs. We also had some international guests, so envelope addressing capabilities was very important to us and was an issue we had run into with other companies like Vistaprint. Cards & Pockets' envelope proofing process was so helpful and easy.
Everything arrived quickly and high quality with very reasonable prices! I highly recommend Cards & Pockets for anyone looking to create beautiful invitations and/or signage.
Cards and Pockets was amazing! They were extremely fast with response time, corrections after mock ups, and mailing. I designed my entire wedding suit on Canva and they printed everything! Unlike other print shops they truly had EVERYTHING I wanted from sizing, color, paper weight, mounting, and more. Also, the price was right. This saved me more than $500 from the main sites predesigned invitations.
If you really want to personalize your wedding invites, I would recommend Cards and Pockets. They have a wide variety of colors to choose from and they answered all my questions in detail. They helped me upgrade my envelope size at no extra cost when they found that my card sizing was a little too big for the envelope. When they sold out of a specific color, they sent several pictures of alternatives that would fit my color scheme. They really made sure that they were sending me exacting what I wanted. I got so many compliments on my wedding invites too.
This is the best find EVER!! If you are very particular about what you want your invitations and save the dates to look like, this is the place for you! Their costs are low and products are superior. Plus, the customer service is always so helpful. If you aren't sure about your DIY abilities, any questions you have on printing, sizes, etc. they are more than willing to support you with! With the price of stationary these days, you can have just about anything you want from this site for a MUCH more reasonable price. Even if you aren't sure about how to "build" everything, they offer lots of products to help like adhesive, envelope moisteners, wax seals, everything!! Highly suggest especially because they are an online option as well. Just simply build your own designs, upload templates you already have, or use theirs. The sky is the limit here fellow brides!!
Everyone at Cards and Pockets was so nice and helpful! They answered all our questions and worked with us to make sure everything was PERFECT. The process was extremely fast and we got our invitations back right away. I love them!
My invitations just got delivered, and I am absolutely in love with them! Customer service throughout the whole process from ordering, helping me switch a card size, and reaching out to confirm it was ok to use a higher quality cardstock when the type I originally ordered was delayed getting to them. I love that I got to support a small business!
As a type A bride with a very specific aesthetic, I cannot recommend Cards and Pockets enough. I completely customized their designs to my own aesthetic, and Cards and Pockets set the tone for our black and copper industrial wedding vibe right away. I absolutely loved working with them and would totally recommend them to any couple who has a specific look for their wedding and who wants to work with a less mainstream company. Love!
They were fine.
Couldn't be happier with my wedding invitations! I decided to design my own wedding suite and had a hard time finding a company who could help create my vision. Cards & Pockets are local to the Boston area so shipping was extremely fast and they offer amazing samples. Their customer service team is helpful, kind and patient. Thank you!!!!
I can not express my gratitude and satisfaction enough for this company. They fulfilled everything that I wanted for my wedding invitations in an extremely professional and timely manner. And when there were any questions, they were quick to reach out to me directly to make sure that my orders were 100% correct. Thank you!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!!!!
We used Cards and Pockets for our wedding invitations and they were beautiful! We designed the invites ourselves, but Cards & Pockets provided an affordable option for us to get high-quality, accurate prints. Our order arrived very promptly. Highly recommend!
Such great products! Had so many colors and found the perfect one, I had to contact customer support for an issue I had and they were so responsive and quick to help/resolve the issue. Such a great vendor for envelopes and more!
invites were gorgeous (and so much cheaper than I expected for the quality we received), the company was communicative, everything arrived on time or early!
I was a total DIY-bride, and I swear I had the BEST time on the Cards & Pockets website. I love that you can have complete control over how you want to build your card. So many other places lock you into templates; at Cards & Pockets, the templates are there if you need them, but completely customizable (or even ignorable) if you don’t love how they look.
And the embellishments! I specifically loved the laser-cut stuff, and I spent literal hours trying to decide which design to go with.
The way you can order exactly the number of cards you need is the best thing EVER.
I’m so thrilled with how my invitations turned out and I can’t wait to go back to them and order my thank-you notes.
I have used Cards and Pockets dozens of times to print Save the Date designs, Invitations, Christmas cards, and custom envelopes. Their customer service is always very responsive, and my orders have been perfect every time. Most recently, I ordered new invitations for a friend whose wedding had been postponed due to COVID-19. We had a short turn-around on the new RSVP date, and I dropped the ball on confirming the proof of the printed envelopes. I called customer service in a panic, and Janine picked up right away. She was able to get my cards and envelopes printed the very same day that I called, and they are already on the way. Thank you, Janine, you saved the day!
We used them for all the pieces for our invitation suite. We decided we didn’t want to hand write or find a calligrapher for the addresses, so we also used their address printing. USE THE PROOFS! I am so glad I didn’t give in to my impatience because as I went through and double checked all of the addresses in their proof, I found so many typos I had messed up on my sheet. It cost me a little more than I would have liked to print because the individual envelopes are ~$0.30 each, but it saved us so much time in the end. I also recommend looking into this early so you can order samples in the colors you want. I didn’t have an issue with ours, but it did take a bit for the sample to come in and doing that multiple times would for sure set back your invitation mailing if you’re in a hurry. My friends and family also LOVED the way the invitations turned out. I got so many compliments on them!
We utilized Cards & Pockets since they had an easy to design invite suite where we could create our own. We created a gorgeous suite of invites and could order the pockets in our wedding colors. They were very affordable for printing, mounting and everything we needed. We got many compliments on how gorgeous our invites were. I've sent several folks their way!
I loved my save the dates and plan to order my invites through them as well! They answered my questions and were very helpful! The processing time was very quick as well. I got exactly what I wanted!
I used Cards & Pockets for our invitation envelopes, envelope liners, and addressed RSVP envelopes. I loved that I could order samples so that I could see the product and match colors before placing a larger order. The envelopes were high quality and could be used for calligraphy without the ink running. Plus, the prices were fantastic compared to other paper goods chains! I would highly recommend Cards and Pockets and would order from them again.
Great for DIY invites at a reasonable price! Loved that you can order samples before committing to an entire order to ensure colors are correct.
The invites for my wedding were beautiful and I got so many compliments that they were unique :) I did add my own twist to them but the colors were perfect and they paper was thick.
Thoroughly impressed with Cards & Pockets. I wanted to create my own invitations, wedding programs, and thank you notes since I have some experience with graphic design, but I didn’t know where to go to get everything printed. I used a big box store for my save the dates; they were just postcards and turned out well. For invitations though, they just didn’t have what I was looking for. I would have had to buy everything separately or resort to premade one.
Cards & Pockets has an amazing selection of styles, colors, and papers. We first got a paper sample to see the quality and color. I was very impressed. The print shop was also very easy to work with. My only trouble was getting my files down to the required size, but after contacting customer support, I learned that I could always send them an email with them if they didn’t fit. I went on to purchase pocket invitations, wedding programs, a welcome sign, and thank you cards through cards and pockets. Everything came out wonderfully and we got a lot of compliments. For the welcome sign, we used a rigid board rather than a poster. I was expecting foam poster board and was amazed when it was something like wood! Great quality! One bit of advice for those going through the proof and then custom print process is just allow time. Uploading, getting a proof, ordering the full quantity, and receiving it took about a month.
I will be back to use Cards & Pockets again for Christmas cards and future occasions.
Great experience ordering from Cards and Pockets. I had ordered multiple samples with free shipping. Some I got the next day and others I got in a week. I really liked the lined envelope as the lining went down to the bottom of the envelope. I had order samples from another company and theirs was only lined halfway which you could tell when looking at the envelope. So the quality of Cards and Pockets was definitely better.
I ended up ordering brushed mirror gold mat paper, tissue paper, and addressed RSVP and invitation envelopes. I had a great experience working with Lea with the envelopes. She sent me an e-proof the day after I ordered. She was nice to provide in two fonts I was choosing between. I sent back a few changes and she sent me a revised e-proof and we were ready to go! I live in MA, but decided to "splurge" on the UPS ground shipping so I could receive the envelopes the next day. At around $10.50, It thought that this was worth it. I found that the envelope paper was thick, pebbled texture (which I thought made it seem richer), and I liked the font choice. Also, the prices were very fair. When I received the envelopes, I was a little disappointed when I noticed that the edges of the envelopes were a little crinkled, but overall, they're just envelopes! After receiving a few of the RSVP cards back, I'm a little disappointed that some of the envelopes look like the font has faded a tad. No big deal though.
Overall, I'm impressed by the product and service from Cards and Pockets and would highly recommend!
I designed a invitation online, picked out the colors and ordered a sample. It was super easy and it came nicely put together. We were constantly complimented by guest on how amazing the invitations were.
Cards and Pockets was an amazing company to work with for our wedding! The design tool on their website made everything super simple and we ended up with invitations that were absolutely gorgeous and perfect for our wedding!
Wonderful! If you are up for designing your own invitations, Card and Pockets is a wonderful value! My husband and I were able to customize our wedding invitations for less than half the price of what we saw it stores. The suite came out perfectly, and we were able to match our invites with thank you cards, place cards, and menus. There are truly so many options that allow you to personalize your design!
I wanted to make my own invites but didn't want to have to cut the paper and print them... so I stumbled upon cardsandpockets. I watched a few DIYs... and there was just not enough time in the day... candsandpockets to the rescue! I made my design myself in Photoshop so they still have my personal touch. The quality team checked in multiple times... to let me see what they looked like before printing... where the cuts would be made... all that jazz. They turned out perfect and are foolproof IF you respond to their emails and follow the instructions they make super clear. If I need paper products in the future, they are now my go to. Shipping was true to time quoted as well.
Great source for building my own invites, they have numerous print options including sizes, material, etc. ended up with a few extra prints of my invites, but it worked out for needing some spares to keep on hand.
Great quality products, quick shipping, affordable prices, very great service to work with! I highly recommend!
With all the websites available, I could not find an invitation that I liked. So, we had friends help design and create our wedding invitations. We looked at many different websites to have them printed but I couldn't find exactly what we were looking for or it was too expensive. Then I came across Cards & Pockets!! I couldn't believe all the color options and what was available. They had exactly what we were looking for to and the website was easy to use. On top of everything else, the prices were affordable and the quality was outstanding. We have received so many compliments on our invitations and I will never order from anywhere else! Thank you Cards & Pockets!!
My goal was to design my own invitations but have them produced by an outside source. I minored in graphic design, so I’m knowledgeable of design and printing. C&P provides creative space coupled with guidelines and production assistance.
Warning: DO NOT design your invitations last-minute. You must allow time to order samples. Not doing so will result in frustration and losing money, as C&P does not give refunds for customized products. They are also sporadic in their delivery time, anywhere from a few days to 2 weeks. It’s best to start no less than 6 months before the wedding.
Product Quality: The variety of papers, colors, and invitation styles allow for lavish or simple designs. The paper quality is good, and I recommend cover weight for invitation cards. The different styles allow for complex designs with multiple inserts (full pocket sets) or simpler, single-card invites without sacrificing style (gate cards, petal folds, slide-in cards). The laser products are great quality. I ordered 130 pieces, and not one had a defect. Finally, the Zip-Dry glue leaves no mess or ripples and is easy for a novice crafter. The gluing was MUCH easier than I anticipated.
Printing: C&P includes an in-depth printing guide to help you set up a print file. READ IT. It will save you a lot of headaches and money in samples. Some of it may new territory for those without graphics training, but those parts are more applicable to graphics software. I do recommend their print services because the quality is good and their machines are calibrated for their products, so printing with them will be more seamless.
Pricing: C&P can be expensive or cheap. The more inserts or laser products you use, the higher your price. Some laser products are pricier than others, but you’ll still get a nice invite for little money without them. Some printing services, like the pocket sets, are well priced for the volume. For single cards, the price is good if your design uses a lot of ink, but not necessarily for text only. Same goes for envelope addressing. I had my envelopes printed locally for a lot less money. See what’s available in your area before committing.
Website Usage: Everything you need to know about products and sizing is on the website, but the navigation and design of the site is mediocre, so details are easy to miss. Take time to research thoroughly and double-check your cart before ordering.
Overall, I am extremely happy with C&P. I highly recommend, but only if you allow plenty of time and are somewhat seasoned with DIY projects.
We used Cards and Pockets for ordering pockets and envelopes for our wedding invitations. Although the first sample we ordered was not the correct one, they sent us another right away and we wound up placing the full order soon after. Everything arrived quickly and packaged very well. Very good quality!! Highly recommend!!
I looooooved cards & pockets! I found the perfect pocket invitations that I wanted for my wedding on Etsy but when adding up the price for all my guests, it would have cost over $1000. Doing some google searches, I stumbled across cards & pockets. I was able to order exactly everything that was in that etsy listing and create DIY invitations that cost me over $700 less! Everyone raved about how great my invitations were and asked if I got them professionally done. They thought I spent so much money on them but nope. I will definitely use cards and pockets again!
I used Cards and Pockets to print customer invtiations as well as their pockets. They were super friendly and customer service oriented. Everything came timely and any questions I had were immediately answered. It was a pleasure working with them for this wedding project!
It was such a pleasant experience working with Cards & Pockets. They have great customer service and it was so helpful to order samples and get a real idea of what our invitations would look like. The best part was the price and quality! I am so happy I used them for my invitations.
Amazing Experience start to finish!
I was terrified when I made the decision to design and print my own invitations. The staff at Cards and Pockets were super-helpful through the sampling, proofing, and printing steps! Their live chat support was really helpful and always got me to a real person who could provide real answers and updates to all my questions! The printshop was also helpful when I ran into a design snag and helped me work through it via e-mail.
I am so happy with the selection of colors and the extremely high quality of their products!
The pricing was extremely reasonable, and the quality of my invitations is fantastic (people keep asking where I ordered them from)!
Cards and Pockets made having the very elegant pocket invitations we so desperately wanted actually affordable. They were super helpful and their huge array of options made personalizing our invitations super easy. And their print shop was awesome and our insert pieces came out perfectly!
Card and Pockets was amazing! My sister is a graphic designer, so I knew I wanted her to design our invitations, but I wasn't sure where to get them printed. I was fortunate to find Cards and Pockets in a Google search, and I am so glad that I did!
They provide very detailed instructions about sizing and other design elements, so as long as you (or your designer) reads everything, you shouldn't have any trouble. They were also very responsive each time I emailed them.
The only issue I had was that at the time, they did not print on envelopes, so I had to use a separate vendor for the outer envelopes and the RSVP envelopes (so that our return address would be pre-printed). However, I hear that they are now printing on envelopes, so that shouldn't be a problem. I highly recommend!
I had my heart set on Pocket Invitations since we began planning our wedding 14-months earlier. I searched through hundreds, perhaps thousands, of options online and finally found the one single pocket invitation I’d been searching for all along. It was perfect. The colors were spot on (wine and gold), which matched perfectly with the Pocket I’d picked out from Cards & Pockets and there were four inserts (& not the standard three) I’d wanted. I purchased the template for the invitation and all four inserts from an independent Graphic Design Artist online. The templates were easy enough to edit and I happily sent them off to Cards & Pockets for printing, months ahead of schedule.
Unfortunately, the files weren’t formatted properly for them to use! We worked closely with Dan Felix at Cards & Pockets, who was AMAZING, to try to get them formatted properly. No luck. We contacted the person we had purchased them from originally and she was no help. A month or two of failed attempts left us hopeless and quite honestly, completely devastated. Dan at Cards & Pockets reached out to Christine Tartaglia at TAG Design, a professional colleague, for help & she was able to get our Invitations and Inserts properly formatted to print! A true miracle worker. We were over-the-moon happy.
Cards & Pockets’ website was also incredibly informative and we found many embellishments we loved – mats, belly bands and monogrammed accent pieces – which we hadn’t thought of adding previously. When all was said and done, from the cardstock to the calligraphy and everything in between, our Invitations were flawless. We continue to receive compliments on our stationary and many of our guests said they really set the tone for our wedding day and they knew, from the beginning, it was going to be over the top and elegant.
Dan, simply put, you’re terrific. There is no way we could have gotten this done without you and, of course, Christine. Thank you for being so diligent and treating our Wedding with the same consideration I’m sure you put towards yours. We are so grateful.
I am so impressed with the quality and service of this company! Not wanting to spend a ton, I decided to design my own invites and use Cards and Pocket's printing services. I submitted my design for a proof and within a few hours had everything proofed and shipped on the same day (during a holiday week no less). I submitted the full order and in less than a week had everything shipped. The quality and selection of paper and envelopes is outstanding and everything was beyond reasonably priced. I will definitely be using them again.
Cards and Pockets have really interesting, high quality paper products. We used one of their pocket styles for our wedding invitation, and I couldn't be happier with it! We ordered two information inserts that they printed, which look great! The customer service was wonderful and helped me out when trying to send the correct style format for my prints. We also ordered our personalized thank you notes, which match our invitation, and love them! Everything was sent in a very timely manner. If you are more of a DIY bride, this is the way to go!
Placed a sample order from them on 08/02, and received notification it shipped the next day. The tracking number never worked, but I was hopeful. Three weeks later - I'm still waiting on my samples to be delivered, still waiting on my multiple emails to be answered, and I'm still waiting for my refund. Much better companies out there for the price!
Once I found the Pocket style of wedding invites, I knew it would be perfect for me. I did plenty of research to find a company that would fit my strict budget and still deliver a great product, and I was so happy to find Cards and Pockets. I used their templates to design my own invitations and inserts, and I am so happy with the outcome! They had a large selection of colored papers, and I was able to match the pocket and invitation mat almost exactly to my wedding colors. I chatted with them 3 times with questions about everything from font choices to template options to shipping, and they were always helpful and informative. The shipping was so quick on the proof I ordered and the invitations themselves that I could barely believe it when they came! I love my pocket invites, and I love that I could have them print my invitations and inserts as well. I don't mind the little bit of DIY in assembling the invitations to keep the cost down, and I am so happy that I ended up with such a unique and individualized invitation to send out! I will recommend them to every bride I can, they deliver a quality product without an overwhelming price tag!
We are a bit torn about this vendor. On the one hand, we would absolutely purchase products from them again. The Tindalo Woodgrain pocket envelopes were perfect for our woodland theme and added a really nice touch. However, we had some trouble with Cards and Pockets, particularly with the print shop. Every time we got our sample prints back, the cutting was crooked, making the margins look off. They kept saying that the border we included was too close to the edge, and they would simply attach this FAQ as a pdf without further instructions. We kept playing with the margins, but to no avail. Every time they came back crooked. The customer service was less than fully helpful and trying to get in touch with the print shop (I believe the woman’s name was Sue) was next to impossible. Ultimately, we decided to just print them ourselves. We have just a regular printer, and we got a little paper cutter, and we had no problem making the cuts look straight. So if we could do it, I don’t know why they couldn’t. Never did get a clear answer. They were quite frustrating, actually. All in all, we wouldn’t highly recommend the printing service, but would recommend their paper products. But we did end up saving money just doing it ourselves!!!
Cards and Pockets has by far the worst customer service and the printing/processing system they have set up is extremely poor. They take 36+ hours to respond to emails and claim their printing department is not reachable by phone. I dealt with Dan and Sue and both were very unresponsive and did not seem to want to earn new business, I waited over a week and half to try and work with this company and after many calls to their customer service department and emails to the printing department -- I had to take my business elsewhere due to the lack of response from Cards and Pockets staff. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a dependable printing service.
After tons of searching I bought everything I needed for invitations from cards and pockets and used their printing services to print my design. Overall, if you want to design your own invitations, you can't beat the value for the quality. They have more color options by FAR than any other site and great pocket options. The quality of paper is excellent. The team I corresponded with for printing my design was incredibly responsive and despite various iterations of my design being sent due to changes I made, they never confused the files. The printing services are great too, so long as you have really high quality images to send them that meet their qualifications. I had to go through a few rounds of trying to get everything to look good (my fault with images). It was annoying to purchase samples each time.... Samples are about $8 so multiple rounds add up. My only complaint is that I wish they had a stronger quality team to give recommendations before printing. I had a few minor resolution issues with my images that you couldn't see on screen but printed slightly fuzzy. They should have realized this would happen and recommend I send another file rather than charging for samples each time. Definitely get the samples though before spending the $ on printing something that may not come out how you envision. The end result is super high quality with a personalized touch that looks professionally done vs handmade. Even with some sample complications, definitely worth it!
From moment I got engaged I knew I would be designing and DIYing our invitations. I scoured the internet for quality paper products and stumbled apon Cards and Pockets.
The site very informative, they let you order samples of pretty much everything on their site so you can see how it looks and feels in person. The quality is amazing! The richness of the colors they offer and the easy of DIYing is just wonderful.
I ordered pocket invitations in two different colors and had them attach the matting, we also order the coordinating envelopes. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful our invitations turned out.
They also provide printing services which we did not end up needing.
Cards and Pockets will be my go to paper goods store! Thank you
Autumn L-O.
I ordered pockets and envelopes from Cards and Pockets online. Awesome place for cheap pockets and envelopes. They offer a wide range of colors and options. I ordered the single sided pocked and they worked great with my invitations. The envelopes worked great as well. The only thing I didn't think of was how much postage would cost because of the pocket and how thick. But since I saved money on them it pretty much evened out.
Used the print shop to do my invitations that my Maid of Honor designed (graphic designer by profession). Super affordable and was very quick. Everyone has raved at how beautiful our invitations were!
Ordered pocket folds for invitations and it was the perfect diy. Used word office for a template and used their print shop. So perfect and affordable!
We had a lot of information to give our guests so I knew I wanted a pocket invitation. At our local printer and on other websites, the prices were so high. I believe I saved at least 50% by using Cards and Pockets. I ordered plenty of swatches and proofs to make sure everything was right. The awesome team at Cards and Pockets even found a typo I made! I got so many compliments about how elegant our invitations were. If you are even considering designing your own invitations, I can't recommend Cards and Pockets highly enough!
If you are a DIY Bride, this vendor is for you. They have great quality materials and allow you to create a personalized, beautiful invitation. The most challenging part of using this vendor is printing at home, which I decided to do because I was planning at the last minute. If I could do it again, I would have sent to their print shop to avoid the hassle and the cutting myself, but the end result was absolutely beautiful, and I was very happy.
Mediocre Service because their shipping time was inaccurate. I sent a note to customer service asking for a refund on shipping when it took twice as long for my goods to arrive, but they did not grant it. Needless to say, I was disappointed.
Cards and pockets has high quality products, and they offer incredibly helpful guidance and suggestions. I opted to use a less expensive adhesive than the one recommended on the site, and that was a huge mistake. I ended having to re-glue EVERYTHING. Take their advice! They know what works best!
We ordered A2 Signature Pocket Card DIY kits, through Cards and Pockets. They were beautiful! We ordered the kits, frame inserts and got our photos printed through them so they fit the frame. When we were putting them together we found the pictures were the exact same size as the card so it was very hard to fit them in. Once they were in we had to press them between books for a long time to get them flat. However, they turned out beautiful and I am so glad we ordered through them!
I designed my own invitation suite because, being a graphic designer, I wanted to both show off my talents and make something special, custom and unique to our wedding theme (the Pixar movie UP)! Cards and Pockets has a ton of different colors, styles, etc to choose from and I got the PERFECT color to match (which was a task at other places)! My invites wouldn't have been the same without the professional, sharp, high-quality envelopes and paper I received through Cards and Pockets!
I recommend you to everyone looking for quality materials - especially the DIY brides like me! :)
I ordered all of my wedding invites through Cards and Pockets to make myself. This is a huge undertaking, as I'm sure many DIY brides know. Cards and Pockets made the process so easy with their selection. But above all, their service has proven beyond amazing. I placed an order 2 weeks ago and got a call a few days later from a super nice gentleman wanting to confirm my purchase. Based on everything I ordered, he noticed one of my items appeared to be the wrong size. I couldn't believe he caught my mistake and took the time to call and confirm what I actually wanted. I immediately got a follow up email with the update and the items were shipped that day. Every employee I've dealt with has been incredibly kind, so responsive and very quick with solutions. I had one other thing I needed after receiving my order and Janine was fantastic with assisting me. I'm really seeing how greedy and unresponsive some vendors in the wedding industry can be, so I'm extra appreciative of Cards and Pockets!
I designed my own wedding invitation suite because I wanted it to be special and custom made and because I was on a budget and a DIY bride. Cards and Pockets has a ton of different colors to choose from and I couldn't have completed my invitations without their professional looking envelopes, paper and printing services.
They provided excellent quality for their value. I bought everything in bulk and constructed it myself, and I couldn't have been happier with the paper quality. The quality really made my invitations stand out from other types of invitations. They looked so elegant compared to invitations that were mass produced at Shutterfly or other places like that. I'm so happy I found this site!
We were able to create just the invitation I had pictured by going with Cards & Pockets. I was having a tough time finding what I wanted, with Cards & Pockets I was able to get a custom print job with wonderful colors for a fraction of what it would have cost for much more plain options elsewhere. My only note is that we had trouble with the envelope glue. You have to have just the right amount of moisture and rubbing to seal them. I would definitely buy again though!
I decided to design my own invitations and paper goods to try and save money. We used a private printer, but ordered the envelopes and pockets (rectangolo). The Peacock Teal pockets were absolutely perfect!
They made it easy to figure out what envelopes were needed and what size paper to use based on the number of inserts you were going to have in the invitation.
Overall, the price was reasonable and the quality was phenomenal!
My invitations and programs were done by myself and with cards and pockets website I was able to find good quality paper and shipping was reliable and fast!
I loved this company! Invitations are outrageously priced! This allowed me to have a classic look on a budget. I did all of my invites in Microsoft Publisher and printed them on a Xerox 6605! They turned out great! The only thing I would say is they give you a template to work off of but it is a Google Doc which does not work well! It might just be me though so I took some of their idea and turned it into my own creation! It Was great to be able to create my own invitations and yet have a classy look with pockets. I highly recommend them they are quick to ship!
We used cards and pockets for the pocket, matte and envelopes for our invitations and then we had our printing done elsewhere. The quality of the pockets was great, exactly what I was expecting when they came in the mail and the price was definitely right!
My husband wanted to design our invitations and they were very helpful when he sent them drafts throughout the process. Overall the service was good, they shipped us the invites in a very timely fashion. All of the invitations looked great and were on good quality paper. The only downfall in Cards and Pockets service was that the printing and sales branches did not communicate with each other. When he had a question about the order as a whole he has to call the sales department and they would not answer any of his printing questions so he would have to call a separate department and fill them in on what he learned from the sales people. It was just added complications for the ordering process.
We used Cards & Pockets for our wedding as we wanted to fully design everything for our wedding and they printed everything perfectly!
For the price (which was pretty cheap in comparing them to pre-designed invitation companies), we got exactly what we wanted and had several people tell us they were the most beautiful invitations they'd ever seen for a wedding!
If you like to DIY, use this company for the perfect results!
We couldn't have been more pleased with the results from Cards & Pockets! Their pricing is the best out there for those who want to design their own invitations and stay within a budget. I was very particular about the shade of red being exact and consistent throughout our whole event (yes, very OCD of me), so we ordered samples kits to check the colors and the paper qualities, inserts, etc. After settling on those and finalizing our designs, we requested a fully printed/assembled sample. When the sample arrived, we were ecstatic! The print quality was amazing! We promptly ordered the invitations and thank you cards. Not only were the products fantastic and beyond expectations, the customer service was excellent. Any revisions or changes I needed were quickly handled. Everything arrived much faster than anticipated too which was just a cherry on top of it all. Needless to say, very pleased with our experience with Cards & Pockets and highly recommend them!!
My husband and I designed and put together our wedding invitations. We purchased most of the items through Cards & Pockets and we were very pleased with the quality of the items we ordered.
There was a little hiccup with the printing at one point and the back and forth with revisions can be a little annoying but its not a deal breaker. The invitations we liked would have cost us between $15-$26 and we just didn't see the point to that. Instead we designed something original, put it together ourselves and created our beautiful wedding invitations complete with a double mounted main invite accented with ribbon mounting corners, 3 pocket inserts and a wax seal!
We loved them and doing it ourselves with printing and products from cards and pockets allowed us to stay well within our budget!
My husband and I used cards and pockets for our invitations as it was the most economical choice for pocket fold invitations. They had every possible color and finish combination one could ever want for your wedding invites. We were able to make completely custom invitations at home for much less than at other stationary stores. If you wish, cards and pockets can do all the printing and assembling, or do it yourself on the cheap. My only complaint is that the sample kits are slightly on the expensive side for trying to hook your business.
We were looking to do a simple invitation with a monogram and text and three cards. The quotes we were receiving were thousands of dollars. I happened across the Cards and Pockets site and realized they were color swatches were the same ones that the designer I had met with the weekend prior had shown me.
Using their templates and sizing, some free fonts and a little bit of Photoshop knowledge, we created invitations that were EXACTLY the same to the professional proof the designer made, but for a fraction of the cost.
We were able to do 75 pocket folder invitations with three inserts and the wrap band and monogram, RSVP envelopes and mailing envelopes for under $500. We used clear Avery mailing labels to bring out fonts/styling to the outside of the envelopes.
Another trick we learned, was if you don't have the graphic design knowledge to do what you'd like, folks on Etsy sell pre-designed templates (we used this for our save the dates and printed through Costco - huge savings) or hire a graphic design for cheap at freelancer.com, then send the files onto Cards and Pockets for printing.
After being overwhelmed by all the options of invitations, I decided to go simpler with an interesting foldout. They have a lot of great options and virtually any wedding color. Very nice!
I ordered my pocketfolds, and envelopes from Cards and Pockets. I first ordered a bunch of samples. My fiance and I picked out what matched what we wanted. They're really great quality, arrived quickly, you can find anything to match your scheme. And a handwritten thank you for your order note was written on the invoice - a nice touch in today's computer world.
FYI- diy invites weren't as cheap as I would have thought... but I think I ended up with something much more individual and awesome than I would have been able to afford at a conventional printer for the same price!
We used Cards and Pockets for all of our paper needs for our handmade invitations and ceremony programs. The quality was amazing, shipping perfect, and service FANTASTIC. We will use this company for all of our future paper needs.. Babies?!? =)
I assembled my own invites using Cards & Pockets' pocket folders and envelopes. It was actually cheaper than cutting them out of cardstock myself, and great quality.
Most of the invitations with pockets we saw were $5.00 or more a card which is way to much for us. I found this while looking for alternatives. Only $.67 a card with a pocket and they are SO CUTE and are very good quality! You have a blank slate to work on. The envelopes and RSVP envelopes were cute and cheap as well. I printed out all the inserts myself with the free templates they give you! If you are crafty, go for it!
I made all my invitations and saved tons of money using Cards and Pockets! They have a huge selection of quality paper at great prices, and you can be confident that everything coordinates perfectly. Shipping is fast and everything arrived in perfect condition.
I purchased the Signature Pockets from Cards and Pockets along with the shimmery envelopes. I also used their print shop to print the invitation and inserts I had designed. They turned out FABULOUS and we got tons of compliments on how unique they were. I wanted them to make a statement and they definitely did! They were pretty affordable as well, only cost us $400 to make about 100 invites; we did put them all together ourselves to save some money, but they will do that too if you ask them to! Very very impressed!
I found Cards & Pockets through a link on Pinterst, and very early into our engagement, I knew I would go with them for our invitations. I definitely recommend getting samples of the papers you're thinking of using to make sure the color is right and to make a mock-up of how you'd like the invitations to look. That way, you can take it to the post office and have it weighed to get an idea for postage costs. The customer service reps were very prompt and thorough with answering any questions I had. I was very impressed at the quality of the products I received and extremely happy with the price.
I designed my own wedding invitation and used the Cards & Pockets print shop. I was so nervous when I sent out the artwork! Turns out, there was absolutely no reason to be nervous. My first thought when I opened the sample was, "Oh, it's beautiful!" And it was, they did a fantastic job with the printing. I also ordered pocket invitations and envelopes. I was very impressed with the high quality of the papers used for the printing, envelopes, and pockets - the package looks and feels more expensive than it was. And they have such a wide selection of colors and styles, it was easy to find something that matched my wedding colors.
I used Cards & Pockets to print my Save the Dates, as well. I had an idea in mind since before I was engaged for a unique design; I did not want to do a standard postcard. C&P was one of the only vendors I found where I could design something start to finish instead of choosing from one of their templates. I explained what I was looking for, and sure enough they were able to help me create it! And almost six months after I sent them out, I still get compliments!
I do recommend ordering samples of everything first - the cost is definitely worth it to make sure you get exactly what you're looking for. I did decide to make some changes after receiving my samples. It was very easy. Which brings me to one of the best aspects (I think) of working with Cards & Pockets - their customer service! Everyone I worked with was super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They also respond very quickly to emails.
I definitely recommend Cards & Pockets to anyone looking to DIY their invitations!
I wanted to do most everything on my own for the wedding, because after all that's the most fun part, right? I loved this site, because all I really wanted was the folded card. I printed the rest of the pocket inserts and just bought plain white envelopes. Very cheap, and very professional looking. I loved the pocket invitation style because I wanted to insert information about the wedding venue, the reception, RSVP's, etc. Highly recommend!
Our wedding save-the-dates and invitations were designed by my husband's best man and very talented graphic designed, but we needed a place to have them printed. We came across Cards and Pockets in a Google search, and we took a chance. Having our invitations printed by Cards and Pockets was a totally painless experience. They were great with providing paper samples and proofs, the paper and printing was of great quality, and the turnaround time is short. We also purchased coordinating envelopes with the patterned liners as well as some paper we used for the table numbers. Cards and Pockets brought our amazingly designed invitations to life, and we were incredibly pleased with the result.
The only issue I had is that it seemed to take a long time to get our invitations. Otherwise, the service was great and the invitation pieces were beautiful. I loved having the freedom to design and assemble my own invitations. Great color selection and great prices too.
The products offered by Cards and Pockets cannot be found anywhere else at a more reasonable price. While it takes someone to design the products, you cannot beat the price of production. There is no one else that would offer the same product at a better price. The quality of every single one of their products is superb. Their customer service is OUTSTANDING as well. I had many questions that were answered very quickly. The processing time for items is pretty fast as well. I think you should definitely consider them for any printing need that you have!
I designed our own invitations and had Cards and Pockets print them and the compliments from guests were endless. The prices are not rock bottom but I think it's worth it. Their selection is huge, the quality is awesome. And people love pocket invitations! Their Customer Service is quick to reply and the printing/shipping process is moderately quick.
Shipping took a while but the product was fantastic. I purchased red pre folded pockets along with inner and outer envelopes. Great quality.
I designed an invitation that used a new, gorgeous script font that my client loved. I discovered after this order was placed when I used the same font with another customer, that it was sometimes not rendering correctly, and that a system default font was replacing the script font. For those of you not familiar with this sort of thing, this basically means your computer replaces a font when it has trouble with a one, and often this replacement font is an unattractive serif font. Once I became aware that this issue was occurring, I immediately contacted Cards and Pockets and sent them photos of what the font should look like. I was assured that the photos I sent matched what they were seeing on their end. Relieved, I told them if they matched my photos, to go ahead and print the invitations.
I received the invitations and to my dismay, the font had indeed printed with an unattractive system default font instead of the gorgeous script font. I was very upset because first of all I was assured they would print correctly, and second off, that a company that does the volume of wedding invitations that Cards and Pockets does would not care enough to pause and question something that was so obviously wrong. But if that wasn't enough, to top it all off, the print quality on the invitations faded from the top of the invitation to the bottom.
I immediately emailed the print shop with photos of what I received and (again) sent photos of what it was supposed to look like. I called the next morning as soon as Cards and Pockets opened to try and get someone on the phone to sort this out. Tim at Cards and Pockets took my call first thing that morning, and told me he would get a message to the print shop and have them respond to my email within the hour. I asked if I could speak with the print shop over the phone to solve the problem more quickly, and he told m
