She truly has a gift that is able to shine no matter what unusual circumstances we may be in.

just felt like we’ve known Lucretia her whole life, that’s how well Lucretia clicked with us. Doing a wedding in this pandemic was some time uncomfortable and not really sure if the wedding was even going to happen. Lucretia, kept us up on the restrictions and took our daughter dream wedding ideals and ran with them. We had ZOOM conference calls (which was really fun and exciting) and we were able to see each other’s faces, and give that encouragement when it was needed. We had been planning for 2 years so this pandemic throw us for a loop! But when you have GOD and GOD places the right wedding planner/stuff/vendors with you and you have that FAITH the GOD is in control of this. You just go with the flow and watch is ALL come together. Let me share on July 31st, 2020 from the time we wake up everything was scheduled out. This day was AMAZING! GOD and Lucretia showed up and showed OUT! From the picture taking to the wedding ceremony we all was on cloud 100,000,000. Then we come to the wedding reception and I cried, because everything and I mean everything was truly amazing! The venue has now captured my daughter’s dream wedding reception. It was stunning/fabulous/classy/BEAUTIFUL! Pictures are amazing that captures it ALL From the table ,the candles, the fresh flowers the place setting, the knifes, forks, spoons, the napkins, the napkin holder, the glasses wear and the wedding party head table WOW amazing, to the huge 4 fresh flowers and all the different size candles through out all the tables, the lighting, the table cloths (stunning). The flowers arrangement through the out the venue, just keep you feeling like you in a total different atmosphere of JOY, PEACE and LOVE! And the food was amazing, the cake was a masterpiece, the DJ keep it popping and the photo booth was outstanding! The whole entire day was a dream come true and TOP NOTCH I applaud Distinct Event Planning 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 When you work with the BEST, YOU GET THE BEST🥰😉

Not only was I a bride who purchased the full service package (thank God)...lol...but I was trying to pull together a ceremony with two officiants & I was a COVID bride!! This is where having a professional and THE BEST counted THE MOST! Lucretia sent us sweet packages each month of this journey, cards, cookies, cakes and even a pedi package for me when she knew I needed to relax! She nominated our engagement story and photos (Janeen Holmes of J.Mariella Photography) for Black Bride Magazine and surprised us by posting it when they chose us!! She’s a part of National, International and State organizations and was ahead of EVERY change! We went from a postponed wedding in April, to a new date in July she set vendors up and then called and set them all up again!! With the governor changing mandates weekly, weddings were off, then on with 10 people, then up to 300 people, no dancing to dancing, masks off to mandatory masks on 😷and she was on top of EVERY detail down to the lace on the sleeves of my dress! We laughed, cried and prayed together and every time I got stressed out we’d talk and she’d say in the calmest of voices with that high pitched tone...”It’s Okay, because I already.....” and I knew it was ok because it was in God’s & her hands! I love Lucretia & I thanked her for walking this walk with me as not only my planner but as my bf! #bookwithDEP #EternallyEdwards

Since I recently loss my mother, I was very intimidated about facing my wedding day and the planning process without her. Working with Lucretia made my anxiety melt away and at times she was much more then a wedding planner, she was more like an adopted mother. Her enthusiasm helped my husband and I stay excited about every milestone of the process and when the day finally came, we were ready to have the time of our lives. Because I work in the event management field of a major hotel chain, I have an eye for detail, and I'll admit my standards are high, but Distinct Event Planning exceeded my expectations. Some of my favorite responses from my guests were: "I had so much fun! The wedding was well executed and classy" "The food selections were the best I ever had at a wedding" "Who did the design work?!
