OUTSTANDING team of artists! I worked with Amber, and she was absolutely wonderful!! I don't wear a lot of makeup usually, so I was worried that I wouldn't look like myself on my wedding day. But Amber totally got my style and created a look that was PERFECT!! She really listened to me and my bridesmaids, and we all looked awesome. Angela was absolutely everything I could have asked for in an artist. She was calm, prefers natural products, patient, kind, and 10 kinds of wonderful. On the day of my wedding (in a hectic, over-crowded penthouse of a hotel) they were perfectly punctual, kind, and patient working for us. They come right to the door of your hotel room. And WOW - do they transform. My bridesmaids went first and looked incredible. To top it all off - their and my looks definitely lasted the whole night - beach, dancing, and all. Sei and Angela were so easy to talk to, so informed and well-practiced in their artistry. Christy was AMAZING at making everything crystal clear and up front about payment and contract details. She made everything super smooth and easy for the day of my wedding and I am endlessly grateful to her and her team. For my trial, she recommended someone and I was too lazy to drive 45 minutes, so I said "can we find someone closer" and she did, but it wasn't the person she had in mind for me based on my requests. Trial day: hair was amazing, makeup not so much my style. I let Christy know when she followed up and she was so helpful in getting the exact details of what I liked and didn't like and she scheduled another trial for me with the original artist she had chosen for me. It was A HUGE SUCCESS! Angela wowed me beyond words, I felt so beautiful yet looked very natural and I only had my makeup done in a t-shirt and jeans. I think it's important to let others know of this because a lot of people (like me) are shy to say when you don't like something, but Christy pushed me to speak my mind she was so invested in me loving my styling and I truly appreciate that she cares that much about her clients. This is the kind of vendor you want to team up with for your special day! Wedding Day: this was the most organized, most calm, most relaxing and enjoyable styling of 13 women in a small room I have ever witnessed. We started at 6am, we were tired and nervous and stressed, but the 4 stylists came in and they rocked it and finished on time! We all looked absolutely stunning, I loved my hair and my makeup and so did everyone else. My bridal party keeps asking me for Christy's info. They were all so quick, professional, and accommodating and left us looking so beautiful. I am so happy with Christy's work and professionalism and she has really teamed herself up with some amazing artists. I would 100% recommend over and over again.

Christy had a very clear timeline the day of the wedding for all the bridesmaids getting ready and everything ran so smoothly. Angela is an amazing hair stylist and makeup artist. My hair was perfect. I just a few inspiration photos and she came up with something so beautiful. She doesn't do anything too over the top with makeup, just very natural looking glamour. My bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup.

Christy helped me schedule the BEST artist, Angela, to do my make up trial with only a few days notice so that I could have my make up done for my engagement photo shoot. I was so impressed with her willingness to work with my schedule! I was totally nervous at first (what if I hated my makeup for all of my photos)?! But when I walked into Angela's studio I was immediately at ease. Angela is so sweet, professional and a true talent. She grasped my vision of how I wanted to look on my wedding day flawlessly. And the pictures turned out AMAZING! Once I knew I had Angela, I was at peace. A few months later my personal hair dresser unfortunately had to decline for my wedding day. Before panicking I emailed Christy. She got back to me with prices and info immediately and reassured me that Angela could also do my hair and she booked another talented artist to work with my bridesmaids. Life Saver! After meeting with Angela again for a hair trial, I could have cried. I knew then how beautiful Angela was going to make me look on my wedding day. With out fail, on my wedding day, Angela arrived to my hotel room in hectic Miami right on time. Not only was she as excited as I was, she also choreographed my bridal party effortlessly. The new Artist also came right on time and I was so happy with her and her work as well. She looked at all of the pics I gave her and was able to adapt every look to me. She also took care of one of the groomsman who was having a frizz disaster during our wedding day! I was worried that some of the artists would go over the top with make-up and I wanted a more natural look for my girls, and both Angela and Bridget nailed it! day! Before getting in touch with divine, I had had 3 makeup trials and wasn't getting the look I had hoped for! I am very picky, and at the same time wasn't quite sure what I wanted. But Divine put all of that to rest the second I spoke with Christy. Christy (the owner) is incredible and treated me like a priority. It was so easy to set up a trial, immediate responses, and just overall great customer service. When I did my first trial with Simone, she nailed it. She listened to my every request and created a beautiful updo that was unique and stunning and made me feel like the most beautiful girl in the universe.. I also did a second trial for my makeup and made a few changes and who knew she could make me look even better! My wedding was out of the country and Christy had 2 stylists total for both hair and makeup come travel to my wedding. Simone and Angela traveled, made everyone of my bridesmaids look like a goddess (there was 8 of us total) with both hair and makeup and did it in record time! Our makeup and hair stayed perfect all night throughout the happy tears, massive dancing, and Bahamian heat.. and to top it off, they aren't a company that puts an inch worth of makeup on your skin! They know how to use their makeup without giving you a caked on look or feeling. And still look flawless and may I dare say angelic! She totally came to my rescue by answering my e-mails unusually quick & allowing me a very easy method to make our payments! I truly appreciated that! It was a 40% down payment, which I was definitely hesitant about because other companies only require $100, but it was well worth it. But she made me look even better :) I have super sensitive skin so I was determined to find an artist that used high quality products and knew how to treat sensitive skin. I'm also extremely squeamish when it comes to getting my eye makeup done, but Angela was so calm and let me take time to collect myself. I received so many compliments, as did my bridesmaids. These girls were great and understood exactly what I was looking for. We did trials and I didn't have to make any changes to what they did, I was thrilled. nce I was out of state, out of country and I'd never been to Miami before! I contacted Christy at South Florida Makeup Artist about helping us out for the big day - we had a total of 8 people who got their hair and makeup done. Christy was fantastic! She answered all my questions about hair and makeup and what the best options would be for a bunch of Canadians in Miami! She was professional and thorough. Christy assigned our group with 2 fantastic girls to work with. Both Lina and Mandi were fun and professional and not to mention troopers - especially being on their feet all day! They listened to everyone's requests and ideas about how they wanted to look and did a fantastic job. They even used their own creative licences when a few girls were stuck for ideas about what would look best. I wish I had another wedding in Miami just so I could get my makeup done again! I was really pleased with their work! The services that we had included 6 updos, 1 short hair style and one half-updo (I don't recommend this with June Miami weather). All 8 of us had airbrush makeup - which definitely looked great and stood the test of time and sweat. The bride opted for a makeup trial a few days before the wedding. I definitely suggest doing this - we were able to see how the airbrush makeup went on and get an idea of the look she wanted. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend Christy's services to anyone requiring hair and makeup services.

With Christy's help prior to the wedding, each artist knew exactly what each person wanted (flower girl makeup, airbrush, eyelashes, simpler makeup and hair for my mom and elderly aunt, etc). If you're in need of hair and makeup, call Christy...You will love her! Keeva and Seiryn did an amazing job getting 8 women ready for my son's wedding. The age range was 10-85 and each one of us looked fantastic! Keeva is a truly gifted hair stylist who managed to get 8 women's hair done in a matter of hours. This was no easy task; some of us have long, unruly hair, while my mom and aunt needed alot of volume and spray, and the girls wanted braids and curls!) She showed up on time, completely professional, and worked her magic on us. One word to describe Keeva: LOVELY!!! Seiryn is a talented make-up artist who knew exactly what to do for each person. She listened and created the exact look each of us was looking for. I for one had never tried eyelashes. With Seiryn's guidance, we chose the look that worked for me and I loved it! I never would have tried eyelashes without her suggestion. She even did a little gloss and eye shimmer on the little ones. My mom and aunt looked fantastic. Just the perfect amount of makeup on 'older' skin. Such a sweetheart!! The Keeva/Seiryn Team: Each person in my group commmented on Keeva and Seiryn's professionalism,style, and fantastic personalities. These two made each person feel so special. They worked incredibly well (and fast!) together and were the perfect start to a beautiful day. If you're lucky enough to book this team, you will not be disappointed. You'll be surprised when you check your hair and makeup at midnight and you don't even need a touch-up!!! I only wish we all took a picture with them that morning!

She was so helpful and responsive the entire time and kept following up and making sure all the plans where in check the time leading up to my wedding. Mandi was perfect and made me feel so relaxed on my wedding day and she did my bridesmaids AND my mother all in time and even finished a little early so we ended up having more time for photos! I felt even more beautiful than the vision I had of myself growing up. Everybody was telling me how great and flawless my makeup and hair looked that day. It even rained a little on my wedding day, even when we were taking photos, and my makeup still looked fresh, did not mess up and even my hair stayed in place. I was also worried, prior to choosing my makeup artist, that I would look "fake" and "overdone with makeup" like sadly so many brides end up looking but the makeup was PERFECT and flawless with the right amount of naturalness. I never write reviews for anything so this is how much I AM SO HAPPY with my choice and want to stress for all you new brides out there you will not regret choosing Christy Ogde makeup. , our wedding coordinator gave us little choice as she insisted that Christy is the only one she would trust. It was even more fortunate that Christy lives part of the year in South Florida, where we happen to live, so we got a chance to meet her and have a trial with her way in advance. Yet, even with a meeting, there was no way to anticipate just how special she would be the day of the wedding. My daughter, even though she had an entire year to think about it, was still struggling with how to wear her hair as the wedding day approached. Christy came over the day before for another trial, and even though my daughter was still undecided, Christy assured her that she would be happy with the ultimate outcome. That is exactly what happened. Christy was incredibly patient, professional, or calming on the day of the wedding. My daughter doesn't like anything that feels too unnatural. With my daughter's input and approval, Christy managed to strike just the right balance of pulling together a look that was casually elegant but strikingly stunning at the same time. Meantime, I had an unanticipated swelling in my neck. Christy assured me that she would do all the shading she needed to in order to disguise it really well. Even though I was terribly self-conscious about it, even the photographer insisted he had trouble seeing the problem after Christy got finished with my makeup. I would recommend Christy without hesitation. Not only did she do a great job with my daughter and all her bridesmaids, but I doubt there are many people as professional and as confident in their own abilities to handle a last minute MOB crisis as well as Christy did.

I requested a vintage, pinup look and my stylist, Mandi Kirkland, totally nailed it. Additionally, the owner was in contact with me several times between the time I booked them and the wedding day to make sure all my questions were answered. As a bride, you will have to juggle multiple tasks, especially if you are your own wedding planner and working with someone reliable and easy to get in touch with is extremely important. I highly recommend them!

Despite this being a second wedding for me (the 1st one being almost 20 years earlier), I was still quite nervous and unsure about the look I wanted to achieve. Both the hair artist (Keeva) and makeup artist (Lina) first worked with me from across the country to hone in on the look I wanted before even meeting for my trial. During the trial, each of the artists utilized my feedback to customize that look. I thought they did a wonderful job with my hair, make-up, and that of the other women in my wedding party! Thanks to these women, I felt every bit the beautiful bride!

I looked up reviews for SFMA and they were recommended highly so I figured that I would give them a call and see if they would be a good match for my bridesmaids and I. I spoke with Christy Ogden, the owner of SFMA (also an artist herself), she was so easy to work with on pairing the bridesmaids and I with the right artist for both hair and makeup. Christy sent us portfolios of the hair and makeup artists that she felt would be best suited for us. The prices of the services were, in my opinion, extremely fair (as I have had a lot of experience with what beauty services cost in my area). I chose to do a trial before the big day. Even though everything was going smoothly thus far, I was not sure what to expect from the makeup artist since, as I mentioned before, I am super picky! When I arrived to their studio, which looked like a super model's loft, I met Seiryn, the makeup artist. Before Seiryn began to do anything to my face we had a very thorough consultation about my expectations and chatted a bit about my personal style, etc. She blew my mind! I absolutely LOVED the quality of her work and enjoyed the experience so much. The day of was no different, everyone's hair and makeup looked phenomenal and I was beyond pleased! I would recommend this company to anyone who has good taste in hair and makeup.

Mandi, who is an amazing artist. Her vision for my hair and makeup was incredible. I have never felt more beautiful in my life. We also had Adriana and Sei help with hair and makeup on the wedding day and they were equally as great! All of my bridesmaids and family members looked amazing! The air brush makeup made us all look flawless. I couldn't be happier with the services they provided :)
