Evan Carpenter Photography

I picked Evan initially because I loved the pictures I viewed on his Instagram page. There was just something about all his pictures that really made me want to reach out to him. We spoke over the phone since he lived in another city and he was super kind and easy to talk to. I explained my vision to him and asked for a engagement session. Evan drove to El Paso, Texas where I live. He was so easy to work with and captured amazing pictures of my then fiancé, as well as a few special moments of my parents and me at the home I grew up on. My parents enjoyed working with him as well. He was very patient. By the way, the pictures were breath taking. He captured a intimate moment with me and my then fiancé that evening that we forever cherish! I hired Evan for our wedding day as well. Over the months leading up to our big day, Evan kept in touch and made sure to get all the details. The day of the wedding Evan was prompt and ready to go. He worked well with my videographer and captured every shot I requested. I love mountains and sunsets and Evan captured such elegant and intimate pictures of my husband and I with both in the background! The final prints came back perfect and beyond my expectations. That was my favorite day yet and he was able to capture that day so my husband and I can cherish it forever!! Thank you Evan Carpenter!!

Evan was so great to work with; we really enjoyed having him as our photographer. He was extremely professional and kind, and worked well with our videographer to get the best results. We felt very well taken care of and felt comfortable around him the whole time. Evan was a big help in making sure elements of the reception kept moving and were happening when they should. All of our photos were amazing and were edited extremely well in our opinion. We find ourselves looking through the photos often and are always so happy when we do so. They weren't over-stylized, which is why we wanted to hire Evan specifically, and yet they were vivid and looked true to the moments they were taken in. They were also delivered in a timely manner and we got plenty of photos. We highly recommend Evan as your wedding photographer!

I was in a rush to find a photographer last minute, and Evan came through for me! He is laid back, professional, easy to talk to, comfortable to be around, down to earth, and took the most breathtaking photos of our wedding. Evans aura and personality made us feel like we were catching up with an old friend. He has a passion for landscape photography as well, which I think made our photos so much better than I could’ve ever hoped for! Not only did he capture the beauty of our wedding, family, and emotions, but the beauty of the location we chose, Palo Duro Canyon. He was truly amazing and I would recommend him to everyone! He is an exceptional photographer, a maestro, a specialist in what he does. I am forever grateful for the beautiful pictures he captured for us, and I was in tears when I saw the amazing work he did.
