For the last 15 months, I have been single handedly planning what I hope to be the FIESTA of the decade! Our wedding will be at Camp Lucy's Ian's Chapel this November. Luckily Camp Lucy is filled with many beautiful scenescapes, however, because I am a big fan of Pinterest, I just so happen to come across ILD's page and saw that they had done quite a few events with Camp Lucy. Established vendor relationships with Camp Lucy was something very important to me from the beginning. Now because the theme is Fiesta, I wanted to have festoon lights, along with our personalized "papel picado" strung from the banisters inside the reception hall. This was something I knew hadn't been done before at Camp Lucy. When I approached ILD with the concept, they met it with great enthusiasm and as a fun, new challenge for them. They pretty much handled it from there. Their representative, Jamie, contacted Camp Lucy and discussed the plans with them and called me back within 48 hours to tell me that everything was approved! With everything on my plate, this was such a relief! Within a week, details were discussed and (electronic) contracts were signed! I will say that I was extremely tempted to throw in their illuminated, disco dance floor! Great website, even better staff and ever since I added ILD to the mix, I've easily become more excited about the atmosphere. I know my guests are in for quite an experience that day and ILD's contribution will only make that evening that much more memorable!
