She had a way of making us feel comfortable and look natural so that none of our photos look staged but rather are catching us in our happiest and most endearing (and good-looking, of course) moments. The wedding itself was no exception—Jamie, wearing a dress, waded waist deep into the lake to capture some iconic sunset dock photos of the two of us, then effortlessly switched to artfully staging our 20+ person wedding party on some nearby rocks for a super-creative shot. She’s a joy to work with. We are looking for excuses to return to Maine and bring her back for more photos in the years to come.

we are as a couple. Not only is Jamie an incredibly talented photographer, she is the type of person you WANT to spend your wedding with -- I felt like I was spending the day hanging out with a friend, versus awkwardly posing for someone behind a camera. But don't get me wrong, she will also stick to a timeline, and won't be afraid to call out that groomsman on the end who isn't looking at the camera. Exactly the type of person you want taking your photos! If you haven't booked her yet, get on it. I promise, promise, PROMISE you will not be disappointed... and I will be jealous that you get to hang out with her!

and it is clear that she is a genius behind the lens. We were prepared to search far and wide for a photographer (which isn't necessary! Maine has many talented wedding photographers), but Jamie's work was exceptional. We are not super comfortable in front of a camera but during our engagement session and wedding we were at ease and had a ton of fun with Jamie, who has a big heart and a great sense of humor. Maine, and especially the property where we got married, is so special to us and we knew that Jamie would capture the spirit of the place. In fact, wherever Jamie shoots, her work always evokes the feeling of the environment. We treasure our engagement photos and are super excited to see the final product. Wherever you live, if you have a chance to hire Jamie to shoot your engagement, wedding, elopement, anniversary, or just-because photos, then (*Monopoly reference*) do not pass go, do not collect $200, just call her and book immediately. And enjoy every moment with her- we are honored and grateful that she could be a part of such a beautiful occasion with us.

but honestly COULD NOT BE HAPPIER this happened. Jamie was that assistant and she was the utmost professional, best photographer we could have hoped for. She coaxed our shy personalities out on film for some of the most instagram worthy poses. She was flexible with the locations and managed to corral excited, un-focused family and friends. She also worked along side our DJ at the reception to deliver some fantastic reception pictures. Awesome person! Awesome pictures! Thank you, Jamie (and Beth)!!!

e by your side/in your face the whole time. I could not asked for a better person to be by my side (except, I guess, for my husband!) Jamie was flawless through the whole process. She's funny yet professional. She takes her craft seriously, but never got in the way of the action. She has her own artistic vision, but makes sure the photos she takes reflect each couple's unique personality. Her photos are beautiful, of course, but those speak for themselves. Take a peek at her portfolio- every shot is stunning! I'll tell you what the photos can't. Jamie is the person you want sitting in the room while you're getting your makeup done. She's the person you want giving your arm a quick squeeze then taking one last shot before you walk down the aisle. She's the person you want trailing you on the dance floor, and she's the person you'll be begging to stay and have a beer with you after the reception. Jamie will make you laugh, she'll make you feel comfortable, and she'll make you look beautiful. What more could you ask for?

and effervescent personality is infectious, and made both my husband and I, and our bridal party, and family and friends feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Before we worked with Jamie, photos were NOT my favorite and I was honestly dreading being the main subject of them! But after the first few clicks of her camera during our engagement session, it was apparent she is not only unbelievable at capturing amazing shots, but also has a true gift for making people feel confident while being photographed. We instantly felt at ease and enjoyed every minute of it! All the pictures she and her assistant took on the wedding day captured everything we hoped for and more. We will never forget the candid smiles between our family and friends or the loving glances we shared during our first moments as husband and wife because of her unparalleled ability to know exactly what pictures to take and when. She was able to put the love and warmth that we felt around us the entire day into her stunning photos, and to us, that is absolutely priceless. We cannot recommend Jamie enough!

ars, and Jamie actually took the time to get to know us, which we loved! Jamie was so easy to work with, and was very open to listening to what we wanted and didn't want, before and during our wedding. Nothing about our family pictures or portraits seemed forced or posed, and she got awesome candids of our families and guests having a great time! Not only that, but for the weeks leading up to our wedding, she made herself available for any questions or concerns we may have had, and was very quick to respond to us. She had all of us laughing the entire night, and fit right in with our families and wedding party, which put our wedding-day nerves at ease. She was incredibly quick to post some preview photos for us, and we were thrilled when it took hardly a week to get the rest of our photos (we were still on our honeymoon when she emailed me about them being ready)!!
