This is your personal ceremony, and I wish to assist you to give it your unique, personal touch. Your special day should reflect those things which make you the unique couple you are, whether you prefer a traditional ceremony or one that is creatively your own design. Love is universal and has its own spirit. No matter what your preference: interfaith, interracial, same-sex or heterosexual, this is about the spirit of love the two of you share. (I mostly serve the metro Richmond, Virginia; an approximately 40 mile radius area.)
Typically, I like to meet with you first to see if we are a good fit. You can email or phone me directly. Once we know we are a match we proceed from there. I prefer to correspond by email once we begin working together.

Louise worked with us to create the wedding ceremony we've always imagined for our special day. Don't hesitate to book such an amazing person to fill such an important role!
Louise made our wedding this weekend run so smoothly! She is very professional, reassuring, and helpful. She provided a questionnaire to learn about us and made the ceremony perfectly fit us as a couple! We loved having her officiate our wedding and would 100% recommend! ❤️
Louise did a wonderful job officiating our non-denominational, Virginia-based wedding. We didn't have a strong idea of what we wanted in the ceremony script, and we were worried that it wouldn't feel substantial as a result. Louise gathered information about our story and values from an initial planning meeting and a questionnaire. She wrote and performed a ceremony that really moved us and our family. She also helped tremendously with the legal marriage process and our questions.
Louise met with us early on in the process and asked some great questions to get to know us. She listened carefully and crafted a great script for the ceremony. She was flexible on changes up to the day before. She responded quickly, and made sure we knew exactly what to do. She took care of all of the necessary paperwork beyond us getting the marriage license at the courthouse so that we could focus on our big day/honeymoon. Thank you Louise!
Louise was an awesome officiant! She was very responsive and went over the ceremony script with us multiple times to ensure it was perfectly how we wanted. She was very well spoken and talked to us on the phone for awhile to get to know us prior to the ceremony. She was very considerate and kind, I am so happy she officiated our wedding!
Louise was the perfect officiant. She was quick to respond on all emails and she helped us craft the perfect ceremony. As we were from out of state, she even helped us by answering our questions on obtaining our marriage license. Louise made our wedding day stress free. Thanks for helping us on this special day :)
Louise was an absolute pleasure to work with; she was very helpful and responsive with any questions we had and very professional. The ceremony she wrote was beautiful and fit exactly what we wanted. She went above and beyond our expectations!
We adored Louise, she was everything we could have asked for as a wedding officiant. Our first meeting at Starbucks we had great conversation and she was able to guide us in which direction we should take certain parts of our ceremony so that it would be perfect, and it was! I am so thankful to have her at our rehearsal because who knew exchanging rings could get awkward if you don’t know what you’re doing ahead of time! She helped everything go smoothly, her energy is wonderful, just a great experience from start to finish.
If you are looking for a professional, timely, and kind person to officiate your wedding, Louise is the one! She was so easy to work with and so communicative. She clearly stated everything we needed to bring and made the day of so easy and stress free!
Louise was incredibly responsive and communicative from the get go. She worked with us to create a script for our ceremony that felt personalized to who we were as a couple and embraced our personalities. Her questionnaire made this process super easy for two people that had zero clue where to start with for planning a ceremony. She listened to our needs and the ceremony script was really a living document that we were able to change up until the wedding. She was so kind and helpful during the actual ceremony and taught us a neat hand flipping trick to make sure the rings ended up on the right finger. I could not recommend her more. Our ceremony felt so special!
Louise was absolutely wonderful!! We cannot recommend her enough! She was so helpful from the very beginning, creating a custom script for us to review and tweak to exactly how we wanted it. Her direction of the ceremony on the day of the rehearsal and day of the wedding took so much pressure off of us. She did a perfect job and was so joyful to work with. My husband and I definitely hit the officiant jackpot with Louise. She was always extremely accommodating with our hectic schedule and when we did meet up, she made me feel at home and stress free. My husband is extremely shy and hates being the center of attention, but she made him feel comfortable and at ease. Her words were beautiful and she definitely left an imprint on both of our hearts!
Louise was the best. I highly recommend her to anyone who is in search of an Officiant. I've seen and heard so many stories where the officiant offered a couple no advice or guidance or was not accepting of the couples wishes, etc. I never felt this way with Louise! We were able to craft the readings and vows to be exactly the way we envisioned, but she gave us just enough guidance so we weren't flying blind. She handled everything with our certificate after our wedding, so we could just jump on a plane to our honeymoon worry free. She has a wonderful presence- we were lucky to have found her!
Louise was so amazing to work with! She made us feel so comfortable after our initial meeting, explaining the process and helping us decide what we wanted for our ceremony. She was always quick to respond whenever we had questions, and she created the perfect, lighthearted script for our ceremony. She is so friendly and professional, we can't recommend her enough!
Louise was so great to work with. My husband makes constant dad jokes and his favorite one for the wedding was "we've never done this before" - especially anytime we spoke with vendors and had questions. This was most true for an officiant - how do you know how to pick? What should be included? How long should it be? What is a marriage license and when/where do you get it? This was even more true because we are an interfaith couple who wanted to blend our religions into one ceremony while making sure guests felt comfortable. Louise walked us through the entire thing and had great suggestions on how to weave together our two ideologies. We are thankful to her for creating the most perfect interfaith ceremony! And, of course, for answering all of our probably-silly questions along the way.
Louise is amazing to work with! From pre-wedding planning to day of ceremony, she was able to answer all of our questions and made us feel very comfortable. She helped us customize our script to be exactly what we wanted for our special day. Thank you, Louise for your patience, kindness and professionalism. I wish I could give you more than 5 stars!
Louise was AMAZING for our wedding.
We were initially worried about finding an officiant but Louise made it SO easy. She met with us and helped us understand all the steps we needed to get our wedding certificate and also went over our likes/dislikes to get the perfect ceremony.
She then sent us a script for the wedding so we knew exactly what was going to be read. Louise was so helpful and friendly the day of the wedding and really made everything run super smooth.

From the first message I sent Louise, I knew she would be a fit for us. She walked us through the whole process and offered to meet us in person to do a ceremony questionnaire. We met in a coffee shop, so totally low key and put us at ease.
Louise puts so much thought into the script and makes it unique to you and your spouse. We appreciate her being flexible with our unity ceremony and going with the flow with something non-traditional. :)

Louise was seriously the best officiant I could have asked for! From the first time we spoke on the phone until even after our wedding day, she was such a joy to work with. During our first phone call, I had a few concerns and Louise quickly helped to calm my nerves and concerns. She was very easy to work with and helped us to alter our wedding script to exactly what we wanted. I would recommend Louise to anyone getting married!
