know us before our ceremony, if I reached out to him he was always quickly responsive, professional, and kind. He assisted us with information on how to easily obtain a marriage license. He tied up loose ends for our ceremony that I had no idea even need tied until after he had already taken care of it. He spoke with us the day before the wedding to go over all details, to see if we had any special requests, and ask if we had questions. The day of the wedding he was early, dressed appropriately and had a big smile on his face. It felt like he was genuinely happy to be there for us, as if we had known him for a long time. His ceremony was organic, you could tell his words were not scripted. We had a private ceremony with our children and a few witnesses and we got several compliments on Eric and of how kind he was. He followed up with us after the wedding with more congratulations and more helpful information to assist with getting our certified license. scheduled a Zoom call with us about 5-6 weeks in advance to get to know us and had us fill out an online survey so he could learn more. He gave us several options for the way we wanted the ceremony to go and provided several suggestions to help guide us in our decision. The week of the ceremony when we arrived in town he called to follow up and make sure we were ready to go. As far as the actual ceremony, it was flawless. We have all been to those weddings where it is very obvious that the officiant knows nothing about the couple, but in this case, even I as the groom wasn't sure that he and I hadn't known each other for years 🤣. He even took a selfie with us after the ceremony and when we returned back home from our honeymoon found that he had mailed a card to us with that picture and a thoughtful note! Originally from Martinsville, Virginia, I have been performing marriage ceremonies for over five years both here on the beach and in Virginia. My wife Angel and I moved to Myrtle Beach several years ago, falling in love with the simplicity of coastal living.
